Hello lybrate-user, As your age is 16 there is no chance for eruption. You should visit to a dentist as soon as possible so that your dentist will explain the procedure of implant and bridge as well. You can go for any of the option.

I got 3 fillings in my teeth around 2 months ago. They were silver fillings. But I still have bitter and metallic taste in my mouth from last 2 months. Whenever my tongue touches my gums and tooth area, there is horrible taste. I have checked my fever and other problems .there are no other health issues. Should I get my fillings replaced? I also got a tooth extracted. The reason being this taste is silver fillings or the dental anaesthesia which was used to extract tooth? Really very horrible taste. Pls let me know what should I do?

I have recurrent aphthous stomatitis. Almost 2 to 3 weeks a month I get ulcers in my mouth. Sometimes even 2 or 3 at a time. Gums, tongue and lips. I love spicy food which causes a lot of inflammation. Any quick remedies or gelthat I can apply?

Nutritional deficiency, excessive stress & debilitating disease can cause ulcer. Exercise regularly. Have a balanced diet. Eat lot of fruits & green leafy vegetables & drink plenty of water. Increase dietary intake of vitamin B, folic acid, iron and use of vitamin supplements etc under medical supervision if blood tests confirm low concentrations. Most go away in about a week, but it’s important to monitor any mouth sores you develop. If you are concerned, or if the sore doesn’t seem to be healing, contact your dentist Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need root canal treatment. Until then apply clove oil on the decayed tooth. Rinse frequently with mouth wash. Advise c. Amox 500mg 1-1-1, thrice daily, t. Metrogyl 400mg 1-1-1, thrice daily, t. Imol 1-1-1, thrice daily (contraindicated in conditions with gastric ulcer, asthma, wheezing, allergy), c. Becosules 1-0-0 once daily all for 3 days only. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Everytime I wake up from sleep, my mouth becomes dry and feels very bad. I do not know why this happens? Please tell me the reason and solution for this? Also I get mouth ulcers frequently.

Everytime I wake up from sleep, my mouth becomes dry and feels very bad. I do not know why this happens? Please tell ...
Dry mouth may result from less salivation in to your mouth because of dehydration, very less jaw movements. It may also result from mouth breathing, that we do unknowingly while sleeping. Drink good amount of water, jaw movements while talking causes salivation. Ask someone to observe you while sleeping. If you have mouth breathing, there are certain appliances to manage it. You can contact for that.

Hello. I have been suffering from TMJ disorder since 2 months. Will it cured? Is there any option for manual therapy ...
Hi. TMJ disorder can be cured in a few weeks to months. But sometimes it can take years to be cured. You can do a few exercises as a remedy. The most possible way out is 1. Be stressfree. Do meditation 2. Icing of the affected area 3. Warm towels over the affected area 4. Place the tip of your tongue on the palate. Open your mouth as wide as you comfortably can, and hold for 5-10 seconds. 4. Avoid eating hard food stuffs. 5. Avoid opening your mouth wide while yawning 6. Use of mouth gaurds.
