I m getting bald from my forehead. What will be the minimum hair transplantation cost. Please guide me.
Hi. Firstly, want to know the type, pattern and stage of hairloss you have? In male pattern hairloss of initial stages of 1-2, homoeopathic medicines can arrest the stage where it is already in. But in advanced stages of hairloss of 3, 4, 5 - one can have homoeopathic medicines (3 & 4 stage) along with hair transplant. Hair transplant is a procedure where one's own hair follicle from the back side of the scalp (donor area) is taken out from the root and is placed on his own required area (because of DNA reasons, we can't donate hair follicle to each other, not even to our own kids/ siblings/ parents). And in the whole lifetime, we can only take to around 12000 to 14000 follicles from the back (depending on the condition of the donor area) - it's one day procedure. Go to any renowned hospital, clinic or firm which deals only in hair (they may cost little more from you, but will give you a quality results ultimately. And they only allow plastic surgeon to perform this)! cost differs from one doctor to another (from Rs. 40-50 per follicle to Rs. 80-90 per follicle). No. Of follicles depends upon requirement of your scalp and capacity of your donor area (back side of the scalp which is never ever affected by dht) as well. For eg. For stage 1 - may be 2000-2500 follicles are needed, so you can calculate accordingly.

It is very essential to cleanse and exfoliate inner thigh area skin every day just as we do with our faces. When we neglect other parts while pampering face, this results in dark itchy skin. So ----------- 1. Apply olive oil twice a week 2. Apply moisturising cream daily when ever you apply it on face-- 3. Right now for itching apply this homoeopathic cream twice daily. This may be due to stress and anxiety. The best way is to massage your hair with the fingertips daily. This will increase blood flow and reduce any pain.

1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like Egg, Yougurt and Lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Don't worry, you are perfectly normal. Some people are more hygiene conscious than others. All of us have a habit of doing something in our daily routine and if we don't do that we start feeling low. Try to meditate every morning for 5 minutes to keep yourself calm and composed.

Skin care tips for Sun Protection

Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Pune

Shield your skin from the sun. Exposure to the sun can cause tanning of skin, wrinkles, age spots and skin cancer.

??

  1. Wear a sunscreen with sun protection factor (SPF) 30 or more.
  2. Uva and UVB radiation in the sunshine can weaken the lower layer of skin and promote wrinkles, brown spots. 80% of UV rays still get through the clouds so choose a broad spectrum sunscreen which can protect you from UV rays.
  3. Wear protective full sleeves clothing, broad hat, long bottom pants.
  4. Be time sensitive: 10 am to 4 pm when rays are most intense.
  5. Apply liberally all your exposed parts. Don't forget to reapply after every two hours.

Think of sunscreen as anti-aging not anti-burning.

Happy sun protection!

How Wine Is a Stunningly Good Anti-aging Weapon

Post Graduate in Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Ahmedabad
How Wine Is a Stunningly Good Anti-aging Weapon

'Red wine is a ladies' drink'; if you are averse to alcohol, especially to its usual, piquant taste, you must have been suggested with the lightness of red wine by officious onlookers. That surely isn't a remote possibility when you are a lady and of age. Cautious introspection backed with years of medical or scientific research tells millions how wine, when consumed in moderation, helps improve a woman's physical health: the facet of mental health can be taken for granted as inebriation of most kinds results in mood elevation. It is therefore a ladies drink indeed.

While being perturbed about the health of your skin, the sagging cheek muscles, a double chin or wrinkles that start showing once women are in their thirties, you must have rarely conjured the image of a vineyard to relax and repair. A vineyard can actually be your key source to youthful skin. Take a look at the following points to believe the same:

  1. Red wine can act as an anti-aging intervention in case of both men and women. A glass of wine every day can keep a woman's skin young and taut while two glasses of the same drink can let a man enjoy the look of a young adult.
  2. Free radicals are active causes of aging. Red wine is rich in antioxidants and thus can do away with such radicals. Many use grapes and grape juice for a glowing skin. Grape juice is way less effective as compared to wine as the latter contains the seed and skin of the fruit during fermentation. The fruit as a whole has polyphenols such as resveratrol that can successfully counter free radicals.
  3. If you are a health freak and insist on going by a Mediterranean diet, wine is part of your regular diet. You will experience the benefits in a few weeks' time.
  4. When consumed in a measured and controlled manner, red wine can reduce a person's chances of contracting breast cancer. Wine sharpens your mind while you age; your cognitive faculties therefore do not rust.
  5. Red wine can make your skin glow from within, unlike any other wine, as white wines have only a little amount of antioxidants.
  6. Your skin feels young and rejuvenated on drinking red wine as the drink aids arterial functions of the body. Thus proper blood circulation is ensured.

PIMPLE Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin E on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin E to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study , applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing

Hello. I am 27years old but still not getting beard and mustache properly. Is there any problem. Please suggest.
Low level of Testosterone cause very slow growth of beard and moustaches. For fast growth of moustaches and beard apply these very useful methods: • Do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA yogasana daily. You can ask me for the details & steps of these asanas. • Take 1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha powder and 1/2 teaspoon of amla powder mix it and take it with water once in a day. • Do running and jogging daily as it increase the hormones levels. • Do neck massage with oil daily.
