Mr. Lybrate-user, first thing is sugar levels should be strictly controlled, fasting should be closer to 100 mg and pp between 150 to 160 mg/100 ml and hba1c%<7. Without this the foot injury will not heal early. Secondly if he not on insulin then should be shifted on to that, plus daily glucose monitoring should be done at home. Injury should be shown to a competent doctor, cleaned with all debris being removed and dressed properly. Proper foot wear should be used. At home or out side he should always use foot wear. No bare foot walking. Please follow these steps that should help.

According to the law, more than 30 ml of spirit like whisky/ vodka will raise the blood alcohol level in the illegal range. But alcohol affects different individuals differently because of difference in metabolism. It's better to not drive after drinking. Prolonged and heavy consumption of alcohols affects liver leading to fatty liver and eventually cirrhosis which is life threatening. It affects brain and can trigger psychiatric disorders like depression, anxiety, mood swings, delusions and even hallucinations. Alcohol induced jealousy is major cause of distress in relationships. Thiamin defeciancy can kead to memory disturbances abd encephalopathy. Peripheral neuropathy is another consequence leading to severe pain and burning in limbs.

I hav some eye problem they become very sensitive. I can not travel on bike without goggle And when I travel at afternoon my eyes are irritates more. I shown before 2 years but that not much effected.

Hi, keep wearing a branded goggles with uv-protection whenever you are out in the sun, also wear a hat helmet over it (which is mandatory for your head's protection as well as it covers eyes). Keep blinking your eyes frequently. Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water or even more than that in a day if you do have to travel in the sunlight for long hours. Medication: use euphrasia eye drops twice daily and have euphrasia 30/ twice a day for 1 week.

It is not a sign of thalassemia .The synthesis of fetal hemoglobin (HbF) is normally reduced to very low levels of less than 0.6% of the total hemoglobin in adults. The HbF is restricted to a sub-population of erythrocytes termed 'F-cells'; 85% of the normal adult population have 0.3% to 4.4% F-cells.

These may be fordyce spots. Nothing to worry about that as these are normal glands visible in some people. If you are really scared then please consult a skin doctor in person for proper guidance.

The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency. The fat that you are carrying around was accumulated in years. So how can you expect to lose it in mere days. As for your training, you need to follow this routine. Your training session is divided into morning and evening workouts: morning: 1. Light jog for 15 minutes. 2.200 jumping jacks. 3.100 meter sprints x 10 4. Medium pace running for 30 minutes. 5. Stretching. Evening: 1. Jumping or skipping for 20 minutes. 2. High knee drill for 10 minutes. 3.150 squats. (15 reps x 10 sets) 4.200 mountain climbers. 5.50 push ups (10 reps x 5 sets) 6.200 mountain jumpers. 7.100 burpees. 8. Stretching. You're going to face a lot of difficulties to complete these sessions during your 1 - 3 weeks. But stay consistent and try to finish each workout as given to you. Diet: 1. Green tea 2. (before morning workout) 1 lemon in lukewarm water 3. (after morning workout) 2 egg whites 4. (lunch) papaya 5. (mid day) brown rice / brown bread 6. (before evening workout) 2 oranges 7. (after evening workout) 2 egg whites 8. (dinner) salad - cucumber, tomato, boiled spinach/broccoli 9. (before bed) green tea.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain.
