Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Alcohol. Avoid alcohol consumption. Do pranayama early morning.

It appears that you have t2 diabetes, which needs regular treatment. From your info it is not clear if you are taking any treatment now. Your bmi is 29.29kgs /m2 which means your excessively overweight. Increased weight also increases blood sugar level as fat in the body opposes insulin action (insulin resistance). If you are not on antidiabetic treatment then please start taking anti diabetic drugs immediately. Apart from treatment you also have to work towards reducing the weight. Your ideal body weight should be 54 kgs. Which means you have 21 kgs extra. Please take all necessary action right away.

There is some new kind of disease mostly in delhi ncr where you have high fever for 2-3 days and then you have pain in joints mostly in knee joints for 2-3 months. Almost everyone in my locality is suffering from this trying different doctors and medicines. Symptoms are like chikungunya but not sure if it is. Please suggest something effective to recover soon.

Take sanjeevani ras vati twice a day with warm water. Take pranacharya jwar nigraha capsule and punarnavadi mandoor 1-1 twice a day with warm water. Avoid salt as more as possible. Drink luke warm water. Wipe your body with clean towel.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are actually quite young to have a prolonged back pain. Can you tell me what was the initiating factor for your pain? apart from pain, do you feel any other symptoms like weakness, numbness or paresthesias in legs as well? is there any localized swelling or any associated systemic symptoms like fever, night sweats, weight loss etc? if you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you, you can also add a muscle relaxant to relax muscle spasm - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. It can be due to faulty posture, related to weak muscles, issues with intervertebral disc, narrowing of spinal canal, any bony instability besides many other, so accurate diagnosis is the key to proper management of the condition. You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means mode of onset of this pain. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any radiating leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Ideally 5 years is quite a long time for you to be having these issues, and if examination findings point, we should think of getting a dynamic x ray of the involved region of your back done and mri scan of the spine to rule out any major pathology. Dear lybrate-user, I do agreed with opinion of said doctor in reference, but steroid shot is transiently effective, to relieve inflammation. If your all measure fails then orthobiological treatment with prp/stem cells are top option, no doubt very costly but with proven results in my opinion as we do regularly. For detail pl go through.
