I have leg pain this pain from past 4-5 days and feeling cold also. So can you suggest something for this ?
: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I am experiencing back pain from a long time mainly at hip region. Also I am in sports so whenever we stretch out my bones make noises either it is of knee joint or my bones of waist. Almost all the joints though I am eating vitamin D and calcium medicine sometimes. .please suggest.

Hi, The pain is like when I run it happens and when I rest it lessens. I can walk normally in the pain just that I cannot play anything which demands running or just running for that matter. Iam really struggling. I can recuperate in a week or so but I dont know the precautions as this problem is haunting me for 10 years now.

The pain is an indication that the muscles are weak and tight and you need to make them flexible and stronger to be able to run and play sports pain free.

Requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Respected maam. Core muscle is abs, back gluts, thigh, adductor. You hve to perform back extension exe with few like 10 sec hold you hve to fell less pain nd continue it. Thanks.

It is called as Rheumatic arthritis. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Wear elbow brace and wrist brace which will make her to feel warm and that will make the joints become firm. Hot water fermentation will help Knee cap will also help to prevent the damaged cartilages. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Which joints you have pain? If your proximal joints (ie. Shoulder, hip & knee has pain) then you can pour hot (warm) water in that area to reduce the inflammation. If you have pain in the distal joints ie. Wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear either elbow brace or wrist brace which will help you to feel warm and very protective. And also immerse the distal joints in the hot water tub which will help you to reduce the pain. Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation The sound what you hear is called as Crepitus /ˈkrɛpɪtəs/ (also termed crepitation) is a medical term to describe the grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations experienced under the skin and joints or a crackling sensation due to the presence of air in the subcutaneous tissue. Popping Knees and Crackling Knuckles. Occasionally hearing pops, snaps, and crackles when you bend your knees doesn’t necessarily mean you have arthritis. The kneecap (patella) is the small, convex bone that sits at the front of the knee, shielding the joint.

Difficult to comment without knowing the reason for pain and that may require some tests & physical examination. Till then a good physio session with some pain medication & muscle relaxant can relieve the back muscle spasm, which is a common cause of back pain.

I am not able to walk for a long as my knee start to pain, along my lower back a lot of pain when I bend myself slightly for a whole. Can not comb my hair for a long as my arm feels tiredness. A small interest in sex. I have done USG of abdomen that shows renal calculi of 6 mm and mild non alcoholic fatty liver. I am taking Notrip 20 mg for lost three most.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal and knee exercises. 3. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 4. Do Hot fermentation twice a day. 5. Wear knee cap. 6. Use lumber spine belt. 7. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum. Also take Glucosamine supplement if pain in knee Joint.

Chances are you had rotator cuff injury, have a mri done, if its grade 2 tear or worst have surgery urgently else go for long term physiotherapy.
