If you are having regular stomach ache and not getting relief, you may have to do upper GI endoscopy after consulting gastroenterologist to find out the reason

May I know the symptoms of migraine. I'm suffering from continues headache since a year.
Migraine is characterised by severe pulsating headache either usually on one side of the head, associated with nausea, vomiting, emotional lability etc. Relieved momentarily by rest and medications and aggravated by loud noise, exposure to sun, sleep deprivation, depression, stress etc. Migraine is a relapsing type of headache. It is usually seen in females but may occur in males too. Management of migraine includes treatment for acute headaches and then treatment for prevention of future attacks of migraine. This is decided according to the onset, type, duration, severity of headaches and also the associated symptoms like sleep problems, stress, anxiety etc.

Swimming pools are routinely shocked with chlorine to kill bacteria to keep you free of infection, according to the Centers for Disease Control, but the chemical can contribute to dry skin. Applying a lotion or cream-based moisturizer to your skin after your post-swim shower can remedy the dryness over time. Over-the-counter products are sufficient for most cases of chlorine-induced dryness. If your skin continues to be irritated after swimming or if you develop flaky patches consistent with eczema, contact your doctor to discuss your treatment options.

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

I have been suffering from stress and insomnia for the last couple of years. On an average, I am able to sleep for less than six hours a day. For the last few months, I am feeling weak, physically and sexually. It feels like that there is some sort of hormonal imbalance. I also have been suffering from IBS for the last six years. It suddenly started in late 2010, when I was still attending college. Then it stopped for around a month, then restarted, and any gastroenterologist is unable to cure this. However, I feel both these issues (weakness and IBS) are not directly related, as IBS is six years old, but this feeling of physical and sexual weakness is just a few months old. Please advise.

Your stress is causing all these problems. Meet with a counselor and sort out your stress for vast imp[rovement. In the meantime, do the following for your sleep problems: In your case particularly, do not sleep during the day; don’t even lie down. Go for regular exercise (breathing through your nostrils only) at a fixed time (at about 6 am) every day, whether you sleep or not. You must develop this habit of sleeping by 10 pm latest every night and wake up at a uniform time by 6 am every morning, even if you do not get sleep. If you do not get sleep, just lie down and if you have a bed lamp (or you could get one) lie down and read something light but not exciting. Your eyes will tire and you will fall asleep. If you like you may also put on light and soft music with the sleep function on. Depending on whether you are a visual or auditory person, you may watch TV in a lying down position until you feel sleepy. Have a warm bath before going to bed (for some people a cold bath at night seems to induce sleep! If you are one of them, please do so). Place the head side of your bed in a North-South position. The room must be as dark as possible and there should be no electronic items that give off even a light LED glow. There must be ample ventilation in the room. Avoid strong odors, except lavender, on your body or in the room, or on your sheets and clothes. There should not be any live plants in your bedroom. Sleep with the lightest of clothes or without any clothing. When lying down to sleep, lie down on your left ear as much as possible. Do not sleep directly under an overhead fan. You must eat a good breakfast, a fairly light lunch, and an early dinner, which should be a very light meal. Whatever you eat in the other meals, have only a pure carbohydrate meal at night with any vegetables, and preferably before 8 pm. Do not drink much liquids after or near about dinner time. When lying down to sleep you may use the 4-7-8 breathing pattern of sleep inducement i.e. Breathe in for four counts through your nostril only, hold for 7 counts, and exhale with a whoosh sound, through your mouth only, for 8 counts. Repeat this four times in the morning and just before you sleep at night. If you know Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT (check this out either on YouTube or Google), then please practice this too for sleep induction. Self-hypnosis and slow relaxation techniques, at night will be tremendously useful. Acupuncture or acupressure will both be very useful too. Pray last thing at night before you sleep.

You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 30ml of divya shwasari pravahi (patanjali ayurved) along with 30ml of water after meals. C) take 2-2 tablets of arogyavardhini vati and chandraprabha vati after meals, D) take 30 ml of aloevera juice along with 30ml of lukewarm water. Do all things for 30 days. Possibly you have polycystic ovarian syndrome. I would therefore advice you to get a hormonal assay and pelvic usg done to tailor treatment.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month.

Your weight should be 65 kg. For dark circles do pappaya massage daily on your face and for puffy eyes there are so many causes like lack of sleep, high bp etc.

Some time it genetically, but pathology of hair loss is when heat increas in your blood. Due to to this heat hair root get dry and it fall. So avoid spicy food, stress less night sleep so take following oil 1. Vata-jatadi tail apply it on hair alternate days take following remedies 1 asthi poshak vati 1 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach 3. Laghu malini vasant ras vati 2 tab after lunch and dinner for application 1. You may use contractubex gel. Massage it 2-3 times daily and then apply silastic sheet over them and keep it that way for atleast 18 hours a day. Gradually you will see an improvement. If the scars are raised above the skin surface, then intralesional injections of triamnicolone also help a lot. You may see a dermatologist/plastic surgeon personally for that. You have to do the treatment for several months before you start seeing improvement. Thanks.

You may have acute tonsillitis. For pain, take pain killer like tab. Crocin. If you have fever, take a course of antibiotic.If you have query, take the photo of your throat with wide open mouth and while speaking word" aa. Use flash while taking photo. You need 7-8 hours of sleep to remain healthy. You are feeling tired because of inadequate sleep. check your hemoglobin and Bp. Take good nourishing diet and drink plenty of water. consult me for further advice
