I am 28 years old and I have arthritis in my right knee. What should I do for cure?
Physical activity is essential for people with osteoarthritis Exercise programs should include both aerobic exercise—like walking, swimming, or biking—and strengthening exercises, such as isometric and isotonic exercises. Please see a Physiotherapist who can help you work out a program suitable for you. You could try a warm bath, or place a heat pack or hot water bottle over the painful area for 15 minutes. Cold numbs the painful area and reduces swelling. Applying cold treatments, such as ice packs, to the painful area for 15 minutes may be especially useful for hot, swollen joints, such as during a'flare' You can repeat heat or cold treatments throughout the day. Make sure the temperature of your skin has returned to normal before re-applying, to prevent any tissue damage.

Doc, last week I got a mosquito bite on my leg after that you felt strong itching over next day I got severe rashes in both the legs then after I slowly began to get swelling in my both legs then I got swelling in both hands and today I got a swelling in face, eyes, ears, almost complete body. I am afraid I consult doctors they told me to wait until to get all the test results, they can't able to diagnose this. Day by day I got swelling everywhere and I am truly afraid. Is it any deadly disease? I have a son. So please tell me your advice. I took cetrizine just 2 days, now I am not taking any antibiotics. I have this prob more than 2 weeks for past two days only it got swelling in face, hand and all over body. Please let me know is it any deadly problem? And how to solve this.

It's probably some other insect bites and not mosquito bite. It is definitely an allergic reaction of the body to the bite. You need to continue to take antiallergics like cetrizine or Allegra. Whichever your doctor prescribes until the swelling subsides. Wear loose cotton clothing do not scratch avoid salt in your diet as it causes water retention. Homeopathic medicine apis is very helpful in allergic reactions .if you intend to take homeopathy please get in touch with me or visit a local homeopathic doctor.

Dear, low back pain are often referred for physical therapy for four weeks as an initial conservative (nonsurgical) treatment option before considering other more aggressive treatments, including back surgery. The goals of physical therapy are to decrease back pain, increase function, and teach the patient a maintenance program to prevent future back problems. Common forms of physical therapy include: 1.Passive physical therapy (modalities), which includes things done to the patient, such as heat application, ice packs and electrical stimulation. For example, a heating pad may be applied to warm up the muscles prior to doing exercising and stretching, and an ice pack may be used afterward to sooth the muscles and soft tissues. OSee Physical Therapy: Passive PT (Modalities) for Back Pain 2.Active physical therapy, which focuses on specific exercises and stretching. For most low back pain treatments, active exercise is the focus of the physical therapy program. This article focuses on active physical therapy and exercise as a means to help recover from back problems and prevent or minimize future flare-ups of low back pain Low back pain has lasted between two and six weeks, or if there are frequent recurrences of low back pain, physical therapy is often recommended. Some spine specialists consider physical therapy sooner, particularly if the pain is severe. •Read more: Exercise and Back Pain In general, the goals of physical therapy are to decrease pain, increase function, and provide education on a maintenance program to prevent further recurrences.
