Hi, My mom is taking blood thinning medicine ecosprin suggested by doctor without having blood checkup. I got blood checkup done by thyrocare now and do not see any unusual report. Should she continue taking this?

BSc - Food Science & Nutrition, PGD in Sports Nutrition and Dietitics
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
Hello, Consult the same doctor as in why did he prescribe her blood thinner. Secondly, blood thinner cannot be discontinued due to self assessment. You can not suddenly stop using it without doctors consent as that can prove fatal.

*. Drinking lots of water is good. Keep hydrated by drinking water and preferring juicy fruits. T *. Take protective measures when you have to expose to abnormal hot weather *. Change from heat to cold and cold to heat should be gradual and not sudden. For example, when you come home after exposing to very hot weather-*Let the body cool before you have a wash or take bath. *Don't gulp ice cool fridge water immediately. Drinking normal water is better. Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

Not at all. Get the proper x ray done and then remove the wisdom tooth done. The depression created due to extraction will get filled up from inside very quickly. Don't worry.

I have been using Budecort and Asthalin Inhalers for more than 20 years for My Asthma, Now the Doctor has stopped these and prescribed Montelukast Sodium Tablets, I have Dry skin in my face and swelling of lips after I take Montelukast, Is it Ok or should I revert back to Inhalers

MRCP (UK), DNB, MD

Dear World over the treatment for asthma is inhalers. Also if. Your asthma has been controlled well for 20 yrs with stable lung function, you must continue inhalers. However it is advisable to seek a chest physician opinion with latest spirometry. You can contact me in private clinic. Regards

Increase Food Intake: Increasing the amount of food you eat is the most basic way for you to gain weight. It can either be an increase in the number of meals you eat each day or the quantity of food eaten in each meal. Gaining weight can be just as hard as losing it. It is a time-consuming process that requires devotion. Remember – Rome wasn’t built in a day.
