Hello lybrate-user If you are Starting recently then 8000 thousand step a day would be good or 30 min of Cardio { threadmill and cross trainer or cycling } would be a good. If you have been doing workout regularly 10,000 steps a day would be good. Its all about how much your body can take. A step by step method with slow increase in pace would be a good way to be active and less strain on your body.

I've dry scalp, dry hair and dandruff also hair fall. When I consulted an allopathic doctor; the doctor asked me to avoid use of oil completely whereas when I visited a homeopathic or ayurvedic doctor; they asked to use oil for it. All I want to know is what is the correct way to treat dandruff.

Hello lybrate-user, Dandruff comes when you have a very dry scalp. Try taking a head bath for alternate days. Sometimes some shampoos also cause dandruff, try avoiding Shampoos with Conditioners as they sometimes irritate your skin. Natural Methods: 1. This method helps some people with dandruff: Take some coconut oil and add some methi seeds and mint leaves to it and boil the oil for 5 mins. Let the oil cool down and leave it aside for a period of four hours. Later Drain the coconut oil into a seperate bottle and use it before a head bath, Massage the oil on your scalp and leave it for 2 hrs and later wash it with a shampoo, You can leave it over night if you wish to.

Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate your effort. You can start with mild changes in your diet with Moderate amount of exercise. 1. DIET: Diet has to always be in a way where you can follow it well with less cravings. Try having a well balanced diet with more proteins and leafy vegetables, try having green vegetables [capsicum] .Try cutting down carbohydrates, go for simple Carbohydrates. Break your meal to small portions and multiple meals instead of 3 standard heavy meals. You can still have a cheat meal once in two weeks to help the cravings. 2.Exercise :Lets take it step by step .Exercise dose'nt have be boring, any form is helpful eg:[ dance, zumba,your favourite sport, walking,running, swimming, trek ] 30 mins of Cardio with good balanced diet helps to. Start with a smaller amount of exercise which tunes your body to workout and later slowly increase your pace and time. Hope this helps.
