Hi lybrate-user, You are just 30, why you want to have such negative feelings. It can be cured only if we take some steps to overcome this. Eating healthy and sleeping well will not cure your anxiety completely some more additional treatment is required. Only if you undergo treatment and counselling your problem will be solved. First, I need to know more about your problem, whether it is caused internally or mentally. Only then we can decide what type of treatment is required. You need psychological treatment or other treatment either medically or not. Do not worry. Definitely we can cure your anxiety provided you should undergo treatment. CONCENTRATION TIPS Here’s some tips to get into a state of deep concentration where work / or studies flow easily so that you can do well in examinations/ and or do your work well. 1) Cut Off the Noise Getting into a state of concentration can take at least fifteen minutes. If you are getting distracted every five, you can’t possibly focus entirely on your work. Request that people don’t interrupt you when working on a big project. If you are required to answer phones and drop-in’s immediately, schedule work when the office is less busy. 2) Structure Your Environment The place you work can have an impact on your ability to focus. Try to locate yourself so you are facing potential distractions such as doors, phones or windows. This way you can take a glance to assess sounds that would otherwise break your focus. 3) Clarify Objectives Know what your goal is clearly before you start. If you aren’t sure what the end result is, the confusion will make it impossible to focus. 4) Divide Blobs. If you have a large project that needs work, clearly identify a path that you will use to get started working on it. If the sequence of actions isn’t obvious, it will be difficult to concentrate. Taking a few minutes to plan not only your end result, but the order you will complete any steps, can save hours in wasted thinking. 5) Know the Rules Get clear on what the guidelines are for the task ahead. What level of quality do you need? What standards do you need to follow? What constraints are there? If the rules aren’t clear from the outset, you will slip out of concentration as you ponder them later. 6) Set a Deadline Deadlines have both advantages and disadvantages when trying to force concentration. A deadline can make it easier to forget the non-essential and speed up your working time. If you give yourself only an hour to design a logo, you will keep it simple and avoid fiddling with extravagant designs. Time limits have disadvantages when they cause you to worry about the time you have left instead of the task itself. 7) Break down Roadblocks Roadblocks occur whenever you hit a tricky problem in your work. This can happen when you run out of ideas or your focus wavers. Break down roadblocks by brainstorming or planning on a piece of paper. Writing out your thought processes can keep you focused even if you might become frustrated. 8) Isolate Yourself Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone. 9) Healthy Body, Sharper Mind What you put into your body affects the way you concentrate. Nobody would expect peak performance if they showed up drunk to work. But if you allow yourself to get chronic sleep deprivation, overuse stimulants like caffeine or eat dense, fatty foods your concentration will suffer. Try to cut out one of your unhealthy habits for just thirty days to see if there is a difference in your energy levels. I’ve found even small steps can create dramatic changes in my ability to focus. 10) Be Patient Before I write an article, I often sit at my desk for a fifteen or twenty minutes before I put finger on the keyboard. During this time I feel a strong urge to leave or do something else. But I know that if I am patient, I’ll stumble upon an idea to write about and enter a state of flow. Without a little patience, you can’t take advantage of flow when it rushed through you. If you need strong concentration I recommend periods of 90-120 minutes. Any less than that and you will waste too much time getting started before the flow can continue. More than this is possible to sustain focus, but you will probably benefit from a quick break. These are the general guidelines for concentration, studying well or doing your job. Regards.

You must meet with a counselor first and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor too. Please do so immediately. You must investigate if the origin of this problem is from childhood or of recent origins. If it is recent, you will be able to pin-point the episode. If not, talk to your parents and see if they remember any incidents from your childhood, even in prenatal life, of any contributing factors. The counselor will be able to help out with this information. You can follow these simple rules too: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least 30 minutes but not in the scotching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don’t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love: find someone to love and to love you back, if you are not married already. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive everyday and learn to be contended with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly.

You sound like you could be depressed. The hand swelling needs to be investigated by a doctor but with regard to depression you may follow the recommendations mentioned below: At your age this claim is serious. If you have depression then there are some major ramifications to take into account. I believe there may be some genetic predisposition or there has been some childhood issue, related to anger, that needs urgent attention. You must go and meet with a counselor immediately and if that person advises that you meet with a doctor you must do so and cooperate to your utmost. Please visit these professionals along with your parents. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. Dear lybrate-user, Anti-depressant medications typically take a couple of weeks to show their effects. Also, depression can be handled by other methods such as psychotherapy or advanced counseling. I think that at this time you need to be a little more patient and wait for a few more days. Then, an increase in dose, change of medicines or psychotherapy may be needed depending upon the situation. In any case, the ventual outcome shall definitely be favourable. Don't worry, take care!

Staying hydrated at all times is essential for a glowing complexion. Do avoid alcoholic or aerated drinks that are full of sugar and replace them with water whenever possible. Get daily dose of vitamin c to protect against the sun and get a bright even skin tone.

Intake of leafy green vegetables dark berries oily fish and nuts is a great way to achieve a balanced skin texture. Muncing on nuts also helps heal skin faster

keep sugar under controll, go ahead with treatment according to need. Take tab flagyl 400 three times a day and tab rantac 150 morning empty stomach and before dinner for 5 days. Take tab meftal spas when you have stomachache. It will help. Thank you.

My roommates complaints that I used to speak at night suddenly for two to three minutes. Last night, they complained that I was laughing very loud while sleeping with my hands opened and I was jumping on bed. This is not usual as I don't have this problem previously. Moreover, I don't have dreams on that night too. I think this problem is related to my psycology.

I can see the problem. We usually do not have body movements happening nocturnally. Therefore there is no treatment for this. To get sound sleep, be stress free and work physically well. Drinking a glass of milk before sleep can also help. Take care.

Hi lybrate-user, There are treatments without medication to completely overcome depression and stress, why do not you undergo treatment and counselling. Do not use Benadryl for other symptoms. There is a well known proverb that is "Too much of anything is good for nothing" Benadryl overdose causes sedation, tiredness, dry mouth, nose and tongue, loss of coordination, blurred vision and many more. Addiction to anything will weaken your physique, your skin tone, your youthfulness will vanish slowly. Why instead undergo treatment and counselling. Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Loosing someone dear and near causes grief. Grief leads to disappointment. Grief related disappointment manifests symptoms as in the case of depression. But disappointment symptoms are far shorter in duration than depression. These symptoms will vanish in some days or weeks. Don; t worry. Physical exercise, outdoor games, entertainment, hobbies etc could help you divert your attention. I suggest cognitive therapy. Take care.

I am a patient of physio effect disorder since. 24sept 2003 caused by I was ragged one and half year in chandigarh engg. college which sent me in deep and severe depression. I was hospitalised for 3month at dr. M.l.agrawal neuro psychiatry center,kota,rajasthan. Also admitted 5 times during these period. Till date I m not normally fit facing more other problems.

Common causes of headache could be - migraine, sinusitis, stress, inadequate sleep, common cold, fever. Take adequate rest. If nasal congestion, take steam inhalation. Avoid stress. Drink plenty of liquids. Take over-the-counter painkiller if required. If with any other complaints eg vomitting, cold, fever, consult with details.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Cigarette contains more than 4000 chemicals which can cause many physical and mental problems. Nicotine is addictive and causes addiction. Smoking can cause cancer and other physical problems. The best method to quit smoking is to use your will power and sustain it with your will power. There are other methods like deaddiction therapy. Deaddiction therapy can be a success only when you have the will power. I suggest online counseling and deaddiction therapy. Take care.

Hello lybrate-user. I have the following suggestions for you: (1) drink in moderation. This means you should reduce your frequency of drinking. This simple measure will help to reduce the redness and discomfort. (2) use a lubricant eye drop 5-6 times daily. Along with it, you could use an antihistamine eye drop as well. (3) get your blood pressure checked. Raised blood pressure could be a cause for eye discomfort as well. (4) you could consider taking help from a support group regarding your drinking problem. All these measures if followed appropriately are sure to help you. Take care-regards.

I am a marijuana smoker. How to leave this? Because when I smoke my heart beat going very fast, and I feel weakness.

Dear Joy, Happy to know that you are trying to leave marijuana smoking. Heart beating fast and weakness are the effects of marijuana. Usually there is no withdrawal symptoms of marijuana.So if you decide you can leave it without any bad effects On the other hand you may feel strong and your heart may not beat fast. Please feel confident that you can do it and give yourself some gift for doing it like vacation or books or new mobile. You will learn the situations that make you smoke and avoid them. Please think of health benefits and money saved often. Plan how to avoid relapsing situations, like weed parties, smoking friends, along with alcohol, stressful feeling or depression. Delay, drink, deep breathe, distract and discuss are the helpful tips. Increase of non smoking zones, gift yourself for stopping smoking. Even chewing cinnamon may delay. Please remember that the urge to smoke comes and goes like waves. Delay and see whether it goes away. It will like a passing cloud..

Dear, You must be able to understand Concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Now I will come to your relationship part. Your relationship is emotional. It is not like married people's love and affection. Therefore you must be more cautious. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. I recently read that researchers believe certain foods might cure Alzheimer’s disease. Is this true? If so, which foods do this and how much would you have to consume to get the benefits?

There is no curative measures till now for alzheimer's disease. But some food can prevent progression of disease like fish liver oil and food items containing beta carotene and lecithin.
