Homeopathic Treatment For Sleep Apnea

Diploma in Gastroenterology, Diploma in Dermatology, BHMS
Homeopath, Hyderabad
Homeopathic Treatment For Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a disorder that affects nighttime breathing and is caused by either a malfunction in the brain that temporarily stops sending signals to the muscles that control breathing, or by an obstruction in the airway.

Causes of Sleep Apnea-
It occurs when muscles in the back of your throat relax, tonsillitis, adenoids, obesity, middle-aged, heart disease, stroke, sedative medicines, large neck circumference, large tongue etc.

Symptoms of Sleep Apnea-

  1. Feeling of excessively sleepy during a day
  2. Lack concentration and low memory status
  3. Depression
  4. Short temperament
  5. Irritability
  6. Hyperactive children
  7. Leg swelling
  8. Impotency in males
  9. Insomnia
  10. Frequent waking up for urination in night
  11. Tiresome feeling in morning

Homeopathic  Treatment of Sleep Apnea-
Homeopathy is one of the most popular holistic systems of medicine. The selection of remedy is based upon the theory of individualization and symptoms similarity by using holistic approach. This is the only way through which a state of complete health can be regained by removing all the sign and symptoms from which the patient is suffering.

The aim of homeopathy is not only to treat sleep apnoea but to address its underlying cause and individual susceptibility. As far as therapeutic medication is concerned, several well-proved medicines are available for sleep apnoea treatment that can be selected on the basis of cause, sensation and modalities of the complaints. For individualized remedy selection and treatment, the patient should consult a qualified homeopathic doctor in person. Some of the most common homeopathic medicines for Sleep Apnea are-

  1. Arsenicum Album: Arsenicum album is often prescribed for individuals who have breathing difficulties at night and is considered for people with a fearful, tense and agitated response to illness.
  2. Lachesis: Lachesis is a remedy prescribed for conditions that worsen at night. This medicine is designed for people who are typically fearful and anxious, but also prone to jealousy and excessive talking.
  3. Sulphur: By reputation, sulphur is a commonly prescribed homeopathic remedy, especially for nighttime congestion and sweating. Homeopathic sulphur combats a wheezy cough and congested head, both of which are suffered in sleep apnea.
  4. Spongia Tosta: This remedy for croup may help congestive sleep apnea sufferers as it treats respiratory symptoms that worsen when lying down.

Before taking these medications, it is important to visit the doctor who will take a detailed case history of your problem and prescribe the right dosage and combination of medication.

Treatment depends upon what kind of symptoms you have, their severity, duration and any impairment due to them, whether at work or home or personal relations. Yes, perceived somatic complaints like pain could be due to untreated anxiety. In such a case the physical evaluation even with lab investigations may turn out to be normal.

What are the effects of parkinson my hands shake while holding anything someone said it can be parkinson so I wanna know more about it.

BHMS
Homeopath, Raebareli
Thank you for writing to us. Please note the following for your condition: symptoms of parkinson's disease differ from person to person. They also change as the disease progresses. Symptoms that one person gets in the early stages of the disease, another person may not get until later-or not at all. The most common one is tremor: tremor, or shaking, often in a hand, arm, or leg, occurs when you're awake and sitting or standing still (resting tremor), and it gets better when you move that body part. Tremor is often the first symptom that people with parkinson's disease or their family members notice. Besides tremor, the most common symptoms include: stiff muscles (rigidity) and aching muscles. One of the most common early signs of parkinson's is a reduced arm swing on one side when you walk.

I am frequently suffering from migraine and could not deal situations at all at that time. My eyes loose vision n head throbs like a rock. I use veritograin and paracetamol but long run no cure is being done. I meditate n do yoga but still I face this.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS

Migraine cannot be cured. Avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, avoid them. Reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco. In general, establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress. Exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. If your doctor agrees, choose any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming and cycling. Warm up slowly, however, because sudden, intense exercise can cause headaches. Obesity is also thought to be a factor in migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight.

His hand and lag have also sense but finger of his hand and lag not respond. want that Only he will be able To talk. For this I spend our all money if he could able to talk. Please help me sir please I still wait for your response.

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Patna
Paralysis occurs due to stroke in brain. Stroke means sudden loss of blood supply to a part of brain, which can occur due to clotting of blood inside blood vessel or due to leakage of blood from blood vessel. As a result that part of brain dies. With passage of time gradually neurons (nerve cells) from other areas of brain start taking the responsibility to work for dead part. But it is a very slow process that may take many years or decades. Recovery occurs by its own and there is no operation/magical medicines/therapy to cure him immediately you have to keep patience. Just continue his antihypertensive/antithrombotic medicines and physiotherapy. I wish your father all the best.

Hi, The hand is shaking due to anxiety. Seek psychiatric help immediately. The fastest way to relieve the symptom of shaking or tremor is to restore the carbon dioxide in your blood to its normal level. You can do this by breathing into your cupped hands so that you inhale carbon dioxide together with oxygen. You can even prevent the tremors or shaking associated with a panic attack. When you feel an attack coming concentrate on slow, deep and relaxed breathing. This will not only relieve the symptom of shaking but may avert an attack altogether. The shaking and tremors associated with anxiety may be due to an overstimulated nervous system. You can relieve these by avoiding stimulants like caffeine found in coffee, black tea, soft drinks and chocolate. Getting rid of the excess of stress hormones in your body can further help give your nerves a rest. Exercise is a great way of doing this and sometimes just moving the shaking hand or foot can help to relieve the tremor in it. Tremors or shaking are made worse by fatigue so a good night’s sleep is crucial. Being well rested will not only help with the tremors but will help you to cope better with anxiety. Try a soothing drink like chamomile tea or warm milk before bed time to help you sleep better. Meditation, deep breathing exercises and progressive muscle relaxation techniques are all ways in which you can reduce stress and combat anxiousness. If you are prone to shaking and it is worsened by anxiety wearing a heavy watch or a heavy bracelet can help to stabilize the tremors in your hands and make them less noticeable. Reduce Stress, Practice Relaxation Techniques and Get Enough Sleep, avoid alcohol or ciggerates.

Dear sir often when I sit on ground for long period my leg goes numb what precaution should I take.

Dear sir often when I sit on ground for long period my leg goes numb what precaution should I take.
That's a normal thing with every one. When we sit on ground for long then your nerves, muscle get compressed so you feel numbness in legs. To avoid this try to change the position, do ankle toe movement, sit with a mat to reduce the undue pressure.

I am aware when I am about to seizure ,my ring finger starts to jerk and slowly I am able to feel my nerves gettingtwisted on my back and then a beep sound after that I am out. Whats happening to me can any one say to me. I got married last month and I am afraid only because of this .I want to stop this medicine and is their any possibility to do so Thanks for viewing this .waiting for an reply God bless you.

MBBS, MD Psychiatry, DNB Psychiatry

You have epilepsy, that is recurrent tendency to seize or have fits. Medications available for the same help in controlling the frequency of fit and maintaining a stable seizure free state. Duration for continuation of treatmnet depends upon how what was the seizure free interval while on medications. If this was more than 3 years, then medications can be considered for tapering and stopping treatmnet. However this has to be done under the close supervision of the treating physician. Eptoin and levipil both are good anti epileptics, but if you still have seizure often, then you should investigate yourself for the drug levels and opt for a change in medications accordingly. Consult you treating physician for more help. For further queries and assistance you may contact me onine.

Dear Doctor. I have burning sensation in my Both thighs and very recently I have diagnosed with meralgia paraesthetica, which causes the burning sensation. I have done my nerve conduction study. Currently having gabapentin and not felling fully recovered. Is a surgery a good option? Will doing a surgery gives me 100% recovery from meralgia paraesthetica? Please advice me.

FRCS - Neurosurgery(UK), M.Ch - Neuro Surgery, MS - General Surgery, MBBS

For meralgia paraesthetica, only conservative rx & physiotherapy is needed. No surgery is helpful, still need to see patient clincially. Gabapentin is good medicine & some supportive medicine can go longer but it may helpful.
