Dear Lybrateuser, - You have to do regular exercise & have a diet rich in proteins to build chest muscles - do aerobic exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming for 30-40 min, also do moderate weight lifting, pushups, pull ups to build chest muscles - have a diet rich in protein foods like eggs, milk & milk products, non veg, beans soya products.

Hi Doctor, I am 34 years old and taking BP medicines from last 4-years. Some time I feel heaviness in my chest and I feel breath less when I take stairs. Presently I am taking sartel C 40 mg in morning and cilacar 10 mg, arvast F10 in night. I have not consulted any doctor from so many years and taking the same medicine since then. My last 5 bp: 135/85, 140/90, 125/83, 128/85,140/90. Please advice if I need to go for some medical test or change in medication.

Having a pain or heavyness in your chest can be scary. It does not always mean that you are having a heart attack. There can be many other causes, including Other heart problems, such as angina Panic attacks Digestive problems, such as heartburn or esophagus disorders Sore muscles Lung diseases, such as pneumonia, pleurisy, or pulmonary embolism Costochondritis - an inflammation of joints in your chest Some of these problems can be serious. Get immediate medical care if you have chest pain that does not go away, crushing pain or pressure in the chest, or chest pain along with nausea, sweating, dizziness or shortness of breath. Treatment depends on the cause of the pain. To rule out cardiac issues. Get a ECG and 2D echocardiography done asap. If they are normal then get a TMT and PFT done This will point out the reason for your problems.

I am facing shortness of breath this is happened earlier 2 months ago so I consulted pulmonoligist he advice me to have tests like CBP ECG PFT so I done those tests everything was normal in that tests so doctor advice me to take tablets for 1 month those tablets are montair-FX and nexito plus so I used that medicines for month then there was no problem again the same problem arises now and I have consulted a doctor he prescribed me to take inderal 10 mg daily 2 times and clonotril 0.25 mg daily one tablet at night.

Please Wake up early go for morning walk in greenery daily Do yogasanas and pranayam daily Do meditation twice a day regularly Avoid oily spicy and fast food, non veg food, processed food Read inspiring books daily Take Tab tagara by Himalaya 11 for 6 mths Saraswatarishta 20 ml twice a day for 6 mths Reduce the dose of your current medicine slowly and then stop.

If I have high cholesterol which tablets is very good for Instant reduce of cholesterol .my age is 30 years old so.
Please understand that - high cholesterol is a lifestyle disorder, which occurs due to bad eating and lifestyle habits and in few cases due to some genetic problems, and so cholesterol reduction requires a change of lifestyle, eating habits, weight loss etc etc and the concept of instant reduction of cholesterol with medication is absurd and will lead to no long term benefit. If you really do want to address your cholesterol problem then, begin with consulting a cardiologist so that they can thoroughly evaluate you, understand the risks that may be causing high cholesterol and impact of this high cholesterol on body. And then start with lifestyle measures (daily 30 mins of exercise, weight loss if obese, healthy diet, no smoking and drinking) as well as medications (if required) with regular follow up.

My triglyceride level is very high (more than 650 level). Whenever, I start taking medicine, its come down at normal level. But after stopping the medicine (after prolong medication) it shoot back again very high. Kindly advice.

hi... do not stop medicines without consulting a doctor. You can control cholesterol / hdl / ldl/t.g. and obesity by using following flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take . green veg., whole grain foods, spicy foods, Use GARLIC in foods daily ,. Cod liver oil. Low sugar foods, low calories foods. Change own life style . do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily in morning and evening, do any one physically activity daily i.e. play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, alcohol,smoking, fatty foods, non-veg., avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. These are helful also reduced obesity. one important that is take 1 glass of water before bed at night. Because it protect from heart fail during sleep at night. Welcome in lybrate.

Dear Lybrate user BP fluctuation happens if there is wave of pressure and tension in mind. Do not feel nervous and depressive, face the situations and conditions by calm and cool. Practice pranayama and yoga regularly. Drink sufficient water every day. Maintain balanced diet and adequate sleep. You can take swamala compound 1tsp twice a day.

Dry cough is usually an allergic reaction to environment or changing weather. In a Tsp of honey mix 3-4 pinches of turmeric and take it 3-4 times a day.

Chest pain occurring after exertion is a matter of concern especially if there is additional risk factor like obesity, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol or cigarette smoking. It suggests decreased blood supply to the heart due to blockage of artery. Physician consultation is needed.

1. Avoid exposure to cold 2. Take bath with little warm water 3. Do steam inhalation regularly at least once a day 4. Warm salt water gargles daily 5 no cold water / cold drinks / ice creams and so on 6. No smoking 7. Wash hands after use of bath room and before and after eating food. 8 more warm liquids medicine can not be advised for open question for medicine contact on private chat Good luck.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
