The fracture should be set right & immobilised.(Either by plaster or by surgery). A normal balanced diet is good enough for fracture healing.

Hello dear hard work never short cut so you have to do heavy cardiac exercise like walk, jogging, running, swimming, cycling etc and also deight control. Its a long term program so increase it gradually but continue you found results after a year. So keep patience and start up from today. Best wishes.

Back pain is a terminology given to the pain that occurs in the lower back, middle back, upper back and lower back pain with sciatica. This pain may be classified based on the duration of occurrence as acute (where the pain lasts for less than 6 weeks), Sub-Chronic (pain lasting for 6-12 weeks) or Chronic (lasting for more than 12 weeks). Precautions avoid weight lifting avoid jerky mov avoid continous bending maintaun rect posture while doing work - there could any factor of back pain in your case. Kindly take cate these precautions. - to get releif apply hit fermentation daily 2- 3 times per day for 10 days followed by simple exercises undersupervision of physiotherapist only. - check for vitd, b12, uric acid levels in body for proper diagnosis of pain.

Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

*Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around.*Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take Calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning for 6 days.

Hi, thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. You will majorly have to work with your posture. On your office chair first completely touch your buttocks to the chair, then take a single bedsheet roll it n place dat role at your belt level in sitting. Make sure your hip n knee joint are in same level if not then use a small stoll under your feet. After every 15-20 mins just get out of your sitting posture. Use drawings n pop ups on computer as: sit straight; get up.
