How Ayurveda Helps Treat Allergic Bronchitis?

How Ayurveda Helps Treat Allergic Bronchitis?

A respiratory disorder, the inflammation of the lining in the bronchial tubes, which are responsible for carrying air to and from your lungs is known as bronchitis. Allergic bronchitis is a disorder that develops, if you have severe allergies which result in a bronchial immune system reaction.

Allergic Bronchitis requires medical diagnosis by your healthcare provider who can differentiate the allergic form of bronchitis from the normal form of bronchitis by searching for other symptoms related to the allergy. Allergic bronchitis often occurs due to seasonal allergies, making it an acute condition. If you are suffering from lingering bronchitis issues caused due to allergies, an allergy test is recommended so that the doctor can accurately assess the condition.

The symptoms of allergic bronchitis are similar to the regular form bronchitis. Only difference is that the symptoms are triggered by allergies. Some of the symptoms are given below:

  1. Cough which may form mucus

  2. Body aches and breathlessness

  3. Headaches, blocked nose and sinuses

  4. Fever with chills

  5. Wheezing

Over the years, Ayurvedic practitioners have prepared and prescribed a number of remedies that can address the issue of allergic bronchitis.

Some of the Ayurvedic remedies are listed below:

Below listed remedies should be taken 3 times in a day for quick relief.

  1. 2 grams of Shringyadi Churna should be taken along with 100 mg of Kaphachintamani and Kaphaketu.

  2. Talisadi churna should be mixed with honey and ginger juice.

  3. 2 grams of Sitopaladi Churna should be mixed with 200 mg of Praval Pisthi as well as 100 mg of Rasa Sindur.

  4. Haridra khand (one spoon) should be taken along with a cup of warm milk.

  5. Other natural remedies, according to Ayurveda include:

    1. Haldi (turmeric powder) mixed with a glass of milk

    2. Juice of Vasa

    3. Tulsi (Basil leaves ground to make a juice)

    4. Equal quantity of black pepper, dried ginger and long pepper (piper longum) mixed with honey

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Bronchitis/ asthma can be treated well with homoeopathic medicines completely, only need to be regular with the medication and avoid those foods/ things to which you are allergic to for sometime. Keep taking your already on going medication, reduce it gradually and slowly once homoeopathic starts acting. Take bakson's astha-aid drops/ 10-15 drops in 1/2 cup water/ thrice d day for 1 month. Report me back after a month.

Every time I inhale some dust particles I start sneezing repeatedly and continuously. Then my nose gets closed and I have to breathe through my nose. It is very difficult to do any task during this period.?

PG Hom, London, BHMS
Homeopath, Mumbai
Hello, According to your description, you are having allergy to dust. In our country, it is difficult to stay away from dust, but you can take tablet allegra 120 mg, as soon as you feel that you have come in contact with dust and might end up getting the allergy. You can also take this tablet after the symptoms start. You can take this tablet maximum twice a day and it is very safe even if you take it everyday for a month.

What is the symptoms of heart related problems? What is the first treatment at home.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
What is the symptoms of heart related problems? What is the first treatment at home.
You can save time during a cardiac emergency by planning ahead. Here are some ways to prepare for a heart attack and possibly increase your chances of survival. 1. Know the warning signs Not everyone who has a heart attack experiences the same symptoms, and some people have no symptoms at all. There are, however, some common ones you should know: Chest discomfort (pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain) Pain radiating to the arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach Shortness of breath Other symptoms, for example, sweating, nausea, vomiting or lightheadedness 2. Know what to do If you experience symptoms of a heart attack: Call 911 immediately. Because emergency personnel can begin treatment before you reach the hospital, transport to the hospital in an ambulance is the best way to receive prompt care. If calling 911 is not possible, have someone drive you to the hospital. Do not drive yourself to the hospital unless you have absolutely no other alternative. While waiting for help to arrive, chew a regular-dose aspirin to help prevent blood clots. Take with a glass of water. If you have been prescribed nitroglycerin tablets or spray for angina, take one to three doses to see whether symptoms are relieved. Lie down, breathe deeply and slowly, and try to stay calm. 3. Develop an action plan If you are at high risk for a heart attack, consider some of the following suggestions: Think what you would do if you had a heart attack in various situations, such as at home or while driving. Decide who would take care of any dependents. Make sure these backup people are willing to help out in an emergency. Write down a list of medications you are currently taking, medications you are allergic to, your doctors' phone numbers (both during and after office hours) and contact information for a friend or relative. Keep copies of this information in several places, such as at home, at work, in your car and in your wallet or purse. Give instructions to your family and friends. Tell them the warning signs of a heart attack and what to do if you experience these signs. Encourage them to take a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) class so that they can provide assistance if your breathing or heart stops before the ambulance arrives. Keep a bottle of aspirin in your home, car, office and toiletry bag. Always have your cell phone with you in case you need to call for help. Is there any way to cure lung cancer without chemotherapy, radiation or surgery? By homeopathy or ayurveda or anything else can it be cured?

Post Doctoral Research (Ph.D.) (A.M) (Oncology), Integrative Oncology for Physicians (MSKCC, N.Y, USA), Doctor of Natural Medicine (N.D/ N.M.D), Ayurveda (I) Cert., Advanced Strategic Management (APSM), B.E (Computer Sc. & Engg.), Clinically Relevant Herb-Drug Interactions (CME) - (Cine-Med Inc. USA)
Alternative Medicine Specialist, Bhubaneswar
Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking clarification. Alternative systems of medicine, undoubtedly, will continue to have a strong role to play both in the prevention as well as treatment of cancer, independently and also as a complement to the conventional cancer treatment. The possibility of a cure, however, is influenced by a couple of factors including stage and its associated comorbidities, age, vitality, gene expressions, chromosomes affected, histopathological grading and the type of cancer etc all. Usually, small cell lung cancers are difficult to treat than the non small cell lung cancer (nsclc) ones. Again, metastasis into distant organs complicates stuff and tends to reduce the chances of a cure. Hope this clarifies. Take care and all the very best.

It will be due to allergy problem. Try to avoid dust. Dust particles mostly present in our bed sheet. Wash it in warm water at every 1 week and dry it in sun light for whole day. Try to use plastic cover for pillow. You will feel great relief. You can also start momenta nasal spray, 1 puff in each nostril, once a day.
