Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. In order to stop the formation of pimples the aforesaid four causes should be terminated. Now the bitter truth is neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you when ever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples. Kindly note that this medication may not be sufficient enough to take care of your problem. These medicines are based on the symptoms of your diseased condition & these medicines need to be complemented by further deep-acting remedies in order to permanently eliminate the underlying cause of the disease. So I would suggest you to consult me privately via lybrate as it is very necessary to diagnose the proper underlying cause of your problem if you are wishing for a permanent relief from your problems. A permanent annihilation of the underlying cause of the disease will not only provide you relief from your troubles but it will also cease any chance of further relapse of that particular disease condition.

Hello,

I am Dr Ipshita Johri, I am Dermatologist and Cosmetologist at Skin Infinity Clinic. As winter is on its way, it’s time for all of us to gear up to fight with dry, dull, dark and flaky skin and change our skincare routine and products to maintain a healthy glowing skin all through the harsh cold weather. I will be telling you about some important tips that you can follow to maintain your glow during the winters. First is cleansing, in winters when your skin is the driest, you need to replace your facewash or soap with an oil or moisture based cleanser, that will clean away the dirt and makeup without making your face greasy. For people with excess dry skin eczema, psoriasis the brief bath with lukewarm water with PH balance cleanser, don’t rub your skin with the towel instead use a soft towel and pat dry gently. Apply a moisturiser on the damped skin, peel away the flakiness, if your skin is getting dry and flaky, it is an alarm, for you to get your dead skin remove which is not allowing the moisture to enter and remain in your skin. Use a scrub to remove these dead cells which can be harmful to your skin is already sensitive due to the harsh weather. Instead of an enzyme peeling or microdermabrasion or skin polish to get rid of the dead cells. Moisturising, a high lipid and ceramite contain moisturiser will be the most beneficial for the plumpness of your skin during the winters.

Overnight application of a hydrating mask or moisturiser is advisable and during the day a light absorbing moisturiser with a hydrating broad spectre sunscreen is the must. If this routine does not give you hydration and glow. Visit your dermatologist for a Mesotherapy treatment with Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid containing skin hydrate cocktail. Food for winters you need extra Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and omega fatty acids which you can get from fruits, nuts and dry fruits. Exercise especially cardio will boost your metabolism and make your skin glow. From the first mithai of Diwali to the last cake bite of New Year Eve, watch what you eat. Hair removal in winters waxing and razor can irritate the dry winter skin and cause redness. Pimples like eruptions and ingrowth of hair, laser hair removal is the best option available nowadays for getting permanent freedom from hair, waxing and other appellation techniques. For people already taking laser sessions for permanent hair reduction make sure you moisturise your skin more religiously during the winters and of course wear a good sunscreen and a smile. Follow these steps and let me know what your skin says after these winters. Thank you.

I think your having fistula in anus, also external piles, you need to check it from a general surgeon, by proper homoeopathic treatment fistula is curable, otherwise you need to do surgery, soo think about it, but before that diagnosis is important soo visit a general surgeon.

Hello- >more thn the cosmetics healthy glowing skin depends upon the healthy digestion. So maintain your proper healthy diet schedule. >use natural products like coconut oil, besan etc for skin instead of chemical products. It will not only provide prolonged glowing effects but also are side effect free. >proper sleep duration and sleep timings are necessary for beauty. Follow 6-10 schedule for going to bed and waking up. >do pranayam like anulom vilom in the morning as it increases the oxygen level inside the blood thus making skin rich and fair from inside. Note-history of pcos suggests that your eating habits are not proper, so your skin glow very much depends upon your digestion.
