Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # change sleeping position. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same, you need specific treatment plan according to your symptoms.

if you are not getting results you need to do investigations to rule out cause or issue follow tips for 7 days . if not happy with result consult privately . 1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory joint disease which has a genetic predisposition. Since this is a genetically linked disease hence as of now there is no permanent cure for it, but new intravenous medications are available which help in disease control. Your son needs a very active lifestyle with intensive regular physical therapy, take adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation you also need to be in touch of a rheumatologist as it needs a long term supervised care. Tell your trainer regarding pain, he will adjust the exercises ingym accordingly. Also take some physiotherapy sessions near your place to properly diagnose which muscle is injured and start with appropriate treatment.

Maintain proper posture while working on computer. Give rest to your eyes by closing them after every 15mins. Move your neck up-down and sideways after every 15-20 mins while using computer. In case of an acute problem, you will require medicines. You may also use a cervical collar.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day..

Dear lybrate user, According to your details mentioned it seems that it is all due to throat infection. Avoid spicy coldoily food first . Do gargles thrice a day after every meal. Drink boiled milk by adding turmeric powder sugar and ghee daily at night for three days. Take fruits light meal in a day. Take Belladona 30 thrice a day five drops in water.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Calf stretches standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

Actually you are overweight and whilke standing our legs have to bear our whole body weight and if weight is more our legs will get easily exhausted,so reduce weight by atleast 6-8 Kg.Secondly I think you are not doing any type of morning walks or regular exercises due to which our muscles become weak and our legs muscles being under continuous stress,gets easily exhausted.So I will advise you to start doing a brisk morning walk regularily for 20-30 minutes.At start it will be problamatic for legs but with time everything will be alright.

Miss lybrate-user as per your description knee pain in your case is mostly due to deficiency of calcium and vitamin d. Start taking milk with I spoon of panchatikta ghrit in it. Apply maha-narayan oil/ panch-guna oil on it massage it properly and do hot fomentation. Try to reduce your weight up to 4-5 kg. Your heel pain is due to calcaneal spur, for that you have to do dry heat fomentation. Heat one piece of brick put some butter milk on that. Do hot fomentation with that. For full recovery you have to take oral medicine also. Consult for proper treatment.
