dear sir first of all get ur knee xray done True AP (standing) and lateral views. avoid sitting done and squat. start quadriceps strengthening exercises.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. \navoid bending in front. \npostural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a da.

When I go to study or sit for study every time I suffer sleep. Or muje nind ane lagty hai jisse mera study nahi ho pata, haven't any addiction. So what I do pls suggest. Bcs M more back in my career do to main cause.

Hello sir, if you have interest in studies you will sit and study. So first try to develop it. Think of your career and future position in society. Now start studying. But ultimately all will not end up in toppers and studies are not the final go for all.

My wife who is 35 years old had suffered from 5th Metatarsal fracture in right foot in January this year. The foot was in cast for 4 weeks and later it was removed. But the pain in foot never subsidized completely. On again taking X Ray, there was still some portion which was not fully healed. Again it was in crap for some days. But now problem is Pain is still there ins foot Surprisingly there is severe pain in base of 2nd toe, although in X Ray there was nothing scene Doctor here had prescribed calcium and SOS pin killer Please advise what should I do.

The new pain in 2nd toe may be due to wrong weight distribution by your wife to avoid pain over the fracture site. If you haven't gone for physiotherapy treatment please consult a qualified physiotherapist who can mobilise the foot joint which may help to properly weigh bear and distribute weight on standing and walking. This will help her to relieve from pain.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Why do you want to go for knee replacement surgery? knee replacement surgery is the last resort if all necessary actions fail. First of all the diagnosis of knee pain has to be made. At the age of 52 years the most common cause of knee pain is osteoarthritis which can be diagnosed by an x ray. If it is osteoarthritis then along with medications few life style modifications are extremely important. You must avoid sitting on the floor, squatting, stair climbing, prolonged standing or prolonged walking, and you must do exercises for quadriceps strengthening. During walking you shoud use functional knee brace with hinge. If there is swelling rub ice for 15 mins 4 times a day. You can also modify your shoe to reduce pain in knee. Shoe modification is based on knee deformity. Most of the cases need shoe with lateral wedge insole for genu varus and calcaneovarus deformities. If all these measure fail to resolve your pain (provided the case is osteoarthritis) you can go for injections like steroid or high molecular weight hyaluronic acid before going for knee replacement surgery as mentioned earlier knee replacement surgery is the last resort. I answered for osteoarthritis knee, but first of all the diagnosis has to be confirmed. X ray knee joint, routin blood test and few special tests will help to get the doagnosis. Thank you.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hi the pain is usually due to spasm. It's normal to have pain after exercise but if pain not tolerable then visit doctor.

ur age is 62. are u on some medication for anything? i think u should consult your local/regular doctor once. at ur age we should not ignore any symptom. by the symptoms you have written, a little difficult to find out what u r suffering from.
