My 25 yrs. Daughter B Tech, feels she has lost everything in life. She fear's about future and talks about past. Her mood changes very frequently. Sometimes she feels happy but gets frightened in night. She does not sleep in the night. Dear lybrate-user, It looks like your daughter has a mental disorder. If it is a recent behaviour, less than 1 year, her treatment may be completely useful. If it is more than 1 year, the treatment will bring about 80-90% change to her old behaviour. However she needs treatment by a psychiatrist as early as possible. She is qualified. Her carrier and marriage may be affected with this disorder without treatment for long time.

diet and workouts go a long way in helping you gain strength to gain weight, you must eat more calories than you burn. When you gain weight, some will be fat and some will be muscle. To gain muscle, you must eat protein. To boost the ratio of muscle to fat gain, you must exercise. To gain muscle and strength, you must engage in resistance exercise. To improve bodyfat percentage and gain weight, you must cycle through phases of gaining muscle and losing fat. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I am a diabetic since 3 months, sugar level is on higher side .now since I am on medication sugar level is controlled around 116-120 on average of last 16 random check I did. Also I have problem of less sperm motility as well ,suggest me foods that can improve my sperm quality and motility and same time is not bad for my sugar level. please suggest fruits like sweet potatoes, watermelon, avocado, sesame seeds (sesame seeds oil), and strawberries I may take or not? please guide.

Since you are worried about sperm I think you need to find cause for low motility. Get yourself checked by someone having experience in male infertility or urologist. Control your sugar and don't smoke. Rule out local cause by check. All fruits you have asked can be taken but not more than 200-250 grams. Seasame seeds in small amount can be taken. Sweet potato can be taken occasionally as it is rich in fibre so good for diabetes but take only one small helping.

1. For increasing weight ...First we have to work on ur digestive system..It will do Aam pachan and will increase ur digestive power and appetite.... 2. Mix 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, ginger and cumin powder with honey to make a paste. Take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day.. 3. Take small meals 4-5 times a day.. 4. Eat healthy n light food .. 5. Drink plenty of fluids.. 6. Avoid constipation... 7. Walk 1km daily in evening... 8 .Follow up after a week.

Thinking is a continous process going on in our minds all the time, which releases different types of chemicals and neurotransmiters from our brain to our body, every time you have an unkind and sad thought, your brain releses negative chemicals that activate your deep limbic system and make your body feel stressed, restless and lethargic. We start making negative perceptions which start affecting our working efficiency.
What to do to stop them effecting our body.
1- investigate, ask yourself, are these thoughts even true?
2- talk back, if you discover that these thoughts are false, talk back to them, tell these thoughts you know they arent true.
3- sit calmly, start humming your favorite song, bhajan or ghazal.
4- concentrete at yore eye centre, try to see light within you.

What if some non-asthmatic patient takes bronchodilator? How long can be the side effects? My friend took around 70 tablets of 20 mcg over a period of 2 months 3 years ago. From any test does it get confirmed that he took bronchodilator? Or he had asthma (though He didn't have)? He is very tensed.

Asthmatic Patient should always begin with Homeopathic treatment. When complaint started. Bronchodilator has acute and chronic side-effects, please search on google. Can not explain everything here

I am 36 years old and am suffering from rheumatic arthritis along with thyroid and 230 cholesterol. I had been taking ayurvedic medicines. Now I am doing yoga only. I am a teacher by profession and am presently having severe joint pains. My left hand swells often and I am unable to do heavy work with my left hand. Kindly give me your opinion and suggestions.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected parts. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello. Can ecg and 2d echo test detect arteries blockages? Due to high blood pressure my doctor suggested me to do ecg, 2d echo, chest xray, lipid profile, thyroid,diabetes, tests 3 months ago and all were perfectly normal. Does this mean I do not have any arteries blockages can I b assured and get relax because I feel worried about blockages.

These tests tell the condition of the heart at the moment. It is not possible to rule out if blockages are there and whether those blockages are significant with Echo and ECG unless a herat attack has already happened or is happening. A TMT or a Stress Echo has a higher probability of suggestive if there are blockages which may be harmful. So you can get either of tests done if you are over-concerned.

Robin sanz you are brushing your teeth regularly still having smell from mouth you need to maintain good oral hygiene,like brushing your teeth twice a day with colgate fresh mint tooth paste ,regular rinse with Mouthwashes (listerine )after meals ,this will help to avoid the bacteria in plaque,that accumulates in the mouth. you have to visit dental surgeon every six month maintain oral cleanliness to make sure your teeth stay healthy.

DEAR Lybrate USER. A) apply mixture of honey and fresh juice of BASIL LEAVES on face, two times in a day. B) take 1 tsf of FENNEL SEEDS along with 1 tsf of jiggery after meals…C) take 30 ml of BASIL LEAVES and LEMON juice along with 10 ml of HONEY and 30 ml of water, early in the morning, on empty stomach. Do all these things for 15 days. It gives you good result. Consult to me for further suggestions. This problems of pimples is due to harmonal imbalance. Thanks.

Just daily in morning do Yoga and Suryanamaskar for atleast 15-20 mins. And then if possible, go for walking. This will help you a lot. No need for any gym and all. Just our Indian traditional workouts are best for Indian. ;) And try to have warm water as much as possible. :) Take care. :)

Hi, Believe me, if you are genuinely happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises as that will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i. E. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. Lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon, orange, gooseberry, etc. Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, can notaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce). If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: Use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel or Bakson’s Fairness cream daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes And then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective.

. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * for thighs & hips - work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories. * you can take guggalu tablets of himalaya company 1 tablet daily for atleast 3 months but only under the supervision of ayurveda expert.
