Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same.

Take rest. Avoid sitting down/ squat. Hot fomentation. Do quadriceps strengthening exercises once pain subside. Take good antiiflammatory medicine.

Hello Mostly the causes of pain and restricted movement in shoulder are due to cervical disc disease, diabetes, shoulder traum or injury. So slow exercises and controlling sugar level is very effective. You can apply warm Rasna leave paste.

My mother (58 yrs) having severe pain at fingers and wrist on both hands from last few years. We have done several treatments but still no proper relief. Difficult to do daily works. What should we can do at home to reduce the pain. Increased at night and early morning.

Your mother problem rheumatoid arthritis so proper Ayurveda treatment use and success full result Improper food habits and sedentary lifestyle can lead to impairment of digestive fire, formation of ama (toxin) and vitiation of Vata (air). When a person indulges in Vata-aggravating diet and lifestyle, then this aggravated Vata circulates ama in the channels of the body and deposits it in the joints, causing Amavata. Ayurvedic treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis starts with pacification of Vata and elimination of toxins from the body. Herbal medicines are administered to improve the digestive fire and prevent further formation of ama. Panchakarma massage therapies are quite useful in subsiding pain in Arthritic patients. Diet & Lifestyle Advice Increase intake of barley flour, horse gram (a type of bean), split green gram, honey, celery seeds, cumin seeds, dried ginger root powder, garlic, bitter gourd and castor oil. I am 73 years old. I have ligament tear problem it is proving difficult to walk because of imbalance while walking. I have really no pain and less stability in left knee joint. Some orthopedic doctors say osteoarthritis is setting in, and some say ligament tear is there and better to do ortho scopy. Key hole surgery ihave x-rays and ct scan done.

Well, for ligament injury, arthroscopy surgery is done and ligament is reconstructed. At 73, I would prefer not to do this as results in this age are not known. Usually this surgery is done in younger and more active population. For you, it would be appropriate to use donjoy knee brace for acl tear. Perform hamstring strengthening exercises and you would be good.

Hello, I am 24 years old. I always have pain on my legs. Especially on lower part and feet. So to get relief I usually apply ointments and massage my legs. It at least helps me to sleep at night. Otherwise its so painful dat I cnt even sleep without massage. please tell me why it pains so much.

This is due to weakness of calf muscles. You should search for calf muscle strengthening and stretching exercises on Google. After practicing these exercises for a week, you will see the change by yourself. Avoid prolonged standing posture and keep a pillow under your knees and ankle joints while sleeping.

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.
