Most people have experienced back pain after sleeping. If you have back pain that continues throughout the day, the cause may be a structural issue with your spine and should be evaluated by a doctor or physiotherapist. However, if you have back pain only after sleeping that is relieved after you get out of bed, you probably have problems with your bed or your sleeping posture. Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -for occasional back pain after sleeping, apply heat to your back to relax your muscles before you go to bed and when you get up in the morning. Do not leave a heating pad on all night since skin burns can occur.

A knee hematoma is caused due to the accumulation of blood under the skin of the knee, due to trauma or injury to the blood vessel while performing surgery usually, a hematoma is considered to be a good thing as this prevents further bleeding. Even though the severity of the hematoma depends on its location, usually it disappears within few days without any treatment and management includes 1. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation are the common treatments for minor hematomas. 2. Hematomas on knee, restrict the movement of the knee joint, so it is important to take adequate rest and to avoid putting any strain on the joint. Jogging, running, and strenuous exercises should be avoided completely. 3. Icing the hematoma on the knee for about fifteen minutes, three to four times a day, can help to control swelling. Hot compresses using a hot water bottle or heating pad can speed up the recovery process. Heat promotes blood circulation and healing. 4. Applying turmeric powder on the hematoma helps to prevent secondary infection.-------- 5. Elevating the body above the heart helps to hasten the healing process as the accumulated blood is drained through lymphatic system due to gravity. If the knee hematoma is large, it will contain more blood and will take long time to disappear. So myself being a homoeopath suggest you totake below given homoeopathic mediccines foreasy disolving of hematoma in quick time arnica montana q (dr reckeweg) drink 10 drop in 20 ml fressh water 3 times daily for 1-2 months depending upon size and recovery of hematoma.

I am a male of 26 years and having backache for last 2 weeks. I am facing problem in bending when I bend I feel stiffness in my backbone and its very painfull to come back in standing position also I was unable to sit on chair or on some sitting furniture for more than 5 mins.

Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Hi, what I understand, your grandmother may have cervical radiculopathy means one of nerve is pressing near cervical (neck) region. It can be because of degenerative disease like oa of cervical or swelling of some soft issue in cervical region or poor posture. Please check with orthopedician or physiotherapist. She need a medicine to control a pain and swelling also or you can have physiotherapy session. Will advice us massage/swd, ift and hot pack. Once pain reduce have her on guided exercise under phyiotherapist please. Also till then do hot fermentation for pain. Thanks.

Hi, I am suffering from diabetes for last two years jointly pain problems in my knee, suggests me medicine.
Hello for a diabetic patient, medicine or home remedies works excellent when paired with exercise like brisk walking or cycling or yoga and stretching for 20-30 min for at least 5 days a week along with healthy balanced diet. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables like melon, watermelon, apple, cucumber, kakri, cabbage, tomato, gourds, green tea, lemon water, diluted salted lassi, wheat grass powder. Avoid sweets, fried foods, carbonated drinks, mango, cheeku, arbi, zimikand and banana take small and regular meals like 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Also you can make a powder to cure diabetes. Ingredients: almonds - 50 green elaichi - 50 whole black pepper - 50 neem leaves dried - 50 bhunna channe - 125 g without peel grind the above to a fine powder. Take 1 tsp after breakfast and 1 tsp before dinner. Thank you.

Hello, Bournvita or any malted beverages in loaded with sugar and other artificial components. They contribute to no or little nutritional benefits. Discontinue its usage, coffee can be taken once a day minus, sugar. Get your vitamin B12 and calcium check for muscle twitching.

According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice. Don't sit in one position for more than 1 hour. Take rest for 5 min. Walk little & start work. Take hot steam twice a day.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Rasoli operation is mild. Do not think about this. For back pain do regular back exercise. You can consult near by physiotherapist. Start daily walking--increase gradually to 40 minuets daily. Reduce oily, fatty diet, she can take b- complex daily one and any calcium tablet daily one. Drink good amount of water.

1.. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2.. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3.. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4.. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5.. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling. 6. Do exercise and yoga daily...u have to decrease 4-5 kg weight.

Hand exercise dear, you can do it, 1……. Make a Fist Hand and finger exercises can help strengthen your hands and fingers, increase your range of motion, and give you pain relief. Stretch only until you feel tightness. You shouldn't feel pain. Start with this simple stretch: •Make a gentle fist, wrapping your thumb across your fingers. •Hold for 30 to 60 seconds. Release and spread your fingers wide. •Repeat with both hands at least four times. Finger Stretch Try this stretch to help with pain relief and to improve the range of motion in your hands: •Place your hand palm-down on a table or other flat surface. •Gently straighten your fingers as flat as you can against the surface without forcing your joints. •Hold for 30 to 60 seconds and then release. •Repeat at least four times with each hand. Claw Stretch This stretch helps improve the range of motion in your fingers. •Hold your hand out in front of you, palm facing you. •Bend your fingertips down to touch the base of each finger joint. Your hand should look a little like a claw. •Hold for 30 to 60 seconds and release. Repeat at least four times on each hand. Grip Strengthener This exercise can make it easier to open door knobs and hold things without dropping them. •Hold a soft ball in your palm and squeeze it as hard as you can. •Hold for a few seconds and release. •Repeat 10 to 15 times on each hand. Do this exercise two to three times a week, but rest your hands for 48 hours in between sessions. Don't do this exercise if your thumb joint is damaged.
