I have a urinary problem. There are certain drops left even after I finish urinating. Is this a serious matter?

Hello, as you are pretty young guy, the possibility of low pressure or residual urine can be the cause. To rule out other possibilities, get your urine tested and an ultrasound done. Also, practice pelvic floor exercise or kegel exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor.

It's just a myth. Fact is definitely one can consume soya and soya products for good muscle and loosing weight and to shed those extra fats. Remember anything in excess and overloads turns poisonous therefore, more protein than needed also shows an effect on the kidneys.

You should follow these very important and simple things to prevent stone formation & to get sure treatment of kidney stones: 1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Take medication as soon as possible. I hope you follow them in your life andstay healthy. 7. You can take gokshur tablets of himalaya for 3 months. It definitely get relief from kidney stones.

My husband having 1.24 blood creatine levels and we both are diabetic and having soaked almonds and methi water daily...
The problem may get serious only if the blood sugar levels are not controlled. So let there be no anxiety or unnecessary fear. Have a balanced diet every day. Infact you can take the help of a dietitian who can help you with the right calories and the food choices that you can prefer. (Maintaining ideal weight is very beneficial ). Please note that all the dry fruits are good but not proven to be therapeutic. So you need not depend on almonds or any particular food items. Keep the variety in food (which the dietician can help you choose from natural and organic foods available ). Avoid all types of junk food/ highly processed food and packeged food and beverages. Look at it from a holistic view point and take action. Exercise is one of the important aspects which can positively change your health. Invest time (atleast 30 mins to 1 hour) for exercise and yoga. Go for regular follow up and blood tests (or any new tests as suggested by your doctor ). You can update the reports here for further information. You can also add Homeopathy to the exisisting medicines for overall improvement in your diabetes and other aspects of health. You can contact me for a private consultation if interested.

Ultrasound and ct scan cannot diagnose glomerulonephritis. Only a kidney biopsy done using a needle under ultrasound guidance can detect glomerulonephritis. Only your treating nephrologist can decide whether you require a biopsy or not.
