I think you are not satisfied with your feeding pattern. Please change your thoughts that you have less milk. U take ample of liquid like Cow milk, juice, water etc. U monitor the weight of baby monthly. The rate of weight gain around 1 kg/month. It is sufficient.

Do not scold your child and no medicine is needed but check his tsh and inform. Consider causes. Understanding causes will restore your trust in your child to do her part with feeding. To fully understand those causes, you and your child need to have had a full assessment, including longitudinal and developmental history and growth and, most particularly, feeding dynamics past and present. Most medical and even nutritional assessments don't address feeding dynamics and history, and it leaves a gap in understanding. Medical assessments and labs are helpful with respect to indicating whether your child has recovered from early medical maladies and/or has some other malady.

Hello, Lybrate user, it depends upon the constitution of the baby, if your baby is fatty, flabby & fare, she might face sweating on forehead, mild heat upon head with cold sole with salivation while asleep. Give her the under noted homoeopathic medicine:@ Calcarea carbo 30- 1 drop, thrice with 1 tsfl of milk. Report wkly. Prevent your baby from cold intake, exposure to cold climate. You need to remain fit to keep your baby fit & fine. Report, wkly, your feedback matters for further follow-up, please.

Hi. I have a 17 days infant, my milk is not sufficient to give him. I am giving lactogen also in between my milk in day and night. Is it OK to give like that to my baby?

Yes its ok. But answer my question that how and why do you know that your breast milk is not enough? If your baby is passing urine adequately i.e if you are changing diapers 6-8 times (8-10 times in case of cotton nappies) then your breast milk is sufficient for your baby. Concentrate on taking high protein diet for good milk output.

My child is suffering from beta thalassemia major. He is 7 years old and weighs only 15 kg. Every month he require 1 pack red blood cell. He suffer most of time with cough fever and cold. Any homeopathic medicine which can improve his health conditions so that he does not fall ill frequently.

MBBS
General Physician, Sambalpur
He should take meningococcal, influenza, pneumococcal vaccines so that it will provide immunity to him against cough fever and cold. Because in beta thalassemia major the immunity is poor and patients are prone to such illness.
