Ankle Pain / Ligament Injury Ligament injury is quite serious condition especially at ankle region as ankle joint is very important joint as it takes the entire body weight and it acts like torsion ie. The kinetic force is taken ie. The moving force is taken by the joint and the entire body weight is taken by both the ankle during walking, running and standing. It is prone to more vulnerability especially during movements (kinetic action of the body) The ligament injury wouldn't have healed properly that's the reason for you to have pain while you started walking or running or while kicking during sport activity. Generally lower limb takes more time to heal as the entire body weight is taken by the foot. It is important to wear MCR chappals as it distributes the weight evenly and it makes the foot to feel less pressure. You can take good Iron supplement, calcium and vitamin D which will help you to have quick recovery and also it helps for quick healing and recovery. You can do hot water fermentation will help to reduce the inflammation and it helps to have better range of motion. If you practice this way it will not hurt your foot any more.

My muscles ache easily when I stretch them in cold. Eg: When I am in water my feet muscles or calf muscles ache and causes immense pain. Same thing happens on winter morning. Is it a normal thing?

Normally muscle pain in cold water is due to the physiological changes in the blood vessels and if it is happening recurrently it needs clinical correlation.

dear kavitha. need not to worry about it. it is common for most of the young ladies now a days to feel nervous caused by deficiency of vitamins and calcium. take shelcalD 250mg once a day. intake of food rich in calcium and vitamins helps reducing pains. remove from ind that you feel weak and nervous. motivate yourself.

You should avoid squatting on the floor if you have knee pain,also cross legged sitting should be avoided.You can apply some ointment like nise gel,also u can take a hot towel and cover your knee with it,do some normal exercises of the knee mainly static quadriceps ,any exercise which increases the pain should be avoided.See a doctor if in 2-3 days it doesn't get better.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem.

This could be due to OA knee &/ obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency it may have to be further investigated. Do knee exercises.

Plantar corn external removal by burning it with salycylic acid or by laser. Both are temporary management of the problem, the permanent solution is to cure your tendency of the formation of corns!
