Please note -- for adults, the average penis size is about 14-16cm (5.5-6.3 inches) when erect. The average girth for an erect penis is 12-13cm (4.7-5.1 inches). A penis would only be considered unusually small if it was less than 3 inches (7.6cm) long when erect. Some reasons are responsible for this problem such hormone, masturbation habit from childhood, infection in the prostate gland etc are very common reasons. Homeopathic remedies are very helpful to increase the size or length of the penis and make it strong. Consult me for homeopathic treatment. Homoeopathy has best treatment for gout without any side effects, it will remove your tendency for increased uric acid permanently. Gout (also known as podagra when it involves the big toe) is usually characterized by recurrent attacks ofinflammatory arthritis—a red, tender, hot, and swollen joint. Pain typically comes on rapidly in less than twelve hours. The joint at the base of the big toe is affected in about half of cases. It may also result in tophi, kidney stones, or urate nephropathy. The cause is a combination of diet and genetic factors. It occurs more commonly in those who eat a lot of meat, drink a lot of beer, or are over weight. The underlying mechanisms involves elevated levels of uric acid in the blood. When the uric acid crystallizes and the crystals deposit in joints, tendons, and surrounding tissues, an attack of gout occurs. Diagnosis may be confirmed by seeing the characteristic crystals in joint fluid or tophus. Blood uric acid levels may be normal during an attack.

5 Medical Tests Women Should Never Ignore

MBBS, DGO, MD - Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MRCOG
Gynaecologist, Delhi
5 Medical Tests Women Should Never Ignore

Remember the old saying that prevention is better than cure. Women are often bombarded with information that includes many tests but there are a few which should never be ignored.

1)breast cancer screening: this should start when a woman is in her 20's and 30's by breast self examination done once in three months after periods. If you feel any lump, follow it up with your gynecologist. A mammography is recommended after 40 every year till 50 and every alternate year after that till 75 years of age. A person may require more frequent testing if she at high risk due to her personal or family history.

2) cervical cancer screening: cervix is the entry to the uterus where a baby grows. Cervical cancer is still the no. One cancer in sexually active women in india. It is important to have regular screening by doing pap smear tests after starting sexual activity and then if normal, once every 3 years till 65 years of age. The main reason this cancer occurs is due to hpv infection and after the age of 30 years every woman should have a hpv- dna test done once in her lifetime to assess her risk of getting this cancer.

3) osteoporosis screening: osteoporosis means weak and porous bones that are more likely to get fractured with smallest of falls and injuries. Bones start to lose their density after menopause in women. There are many high risk factors due to which the bones can start to weaken early but if none exist then at least a base line dexa scan which is an x-ray based test should be done at 65 years of age.

4) high blood pressure and cholesterol screening: high blood pressure is known to be a silent killer and it is important to get your blood pressure once a year after 30. But if you are overweight or have other high risk factors in your history, you can get it checked early to suit your lifestyle. Any blood pressure reading of more than 140 by 90 on two occasions means that you need to start treatment. High cholesterol is responsible for clogging our arteries and may lead to heart damage. Lipid profile should be done once in 5 years after the age of 25 years if normal.

5) blood sugar: if you are normal then a sugar testing should be done once every 3 years after 40 years. If there are risk factors like overweight, sedentary lifestyle or family history, one has to suit your individual needs. A fasting value of more than 125 or hba1c value of more than 6.5% suggests diabetes.

Excessive energy intake may also compromise the immune system's ability to fight infection. Reducing fat in the diet is important for weight control but it also seems to influence how well the immune system works. Diets that are high in fat seem to depress the immune response and thus increase the risk of infections. Vitamins A and C help lymphocytes reproduce properly when the body is exposed to a virus, and they enable neutrophils and macrophages to surround and kill invasive bacteria. Vitamin A is also important for strong and healthy skin. Vitamin C, which produces the protein interferon, boosts the cells that seek and destroy disease agents once they're present in the body. Vitamin E helps the immune system by producing interleukin-2, a protein that kills bacteria, viruses, and possibly cancer cells. Interleukin-2 appears in the body as a reaction to being invaded by germs. Sources include wheat germ oil, almonds, peanut butter, spinach, broccoli, kiwi, and mango. Not getting enough zinc in your diet, particularly among vegetarians and people who've reduced their intake of beef, hurts immunity. A lack of zinc, which helps with the development of white bloods, can raise the risk of infections, fevers, coughs, and mucus build up. Just three ounces of lean beef provides about 30 percent of our daily zinc requirement. Other sources include oysters, fortified cereals, pork, poultry, yogurt, and milk. Selenium, found in oysters, lobsters, crabs, and clams, increases the production of proteins called cytokines, according to a small study conducted in Great Britain. Cytokines may help the body fight off viruses that cause influenza. The omega-3 fats found in many seafoods, particularly salmon, have also been shown to increase the concentration of T-cells and cytokines. Yogurt Probiotics are live, healthy cultures found in yogurt that keep the intestinal tract free of germs that cause diseases.
