What you are going through is greaving. Loosing loved one is not easy to deal with emotionally. I am sorry for your loss. When you are greaving, your mind is continuously engaged in sad and disturbing thoughts and feeling of loss and perhaps guilt. When sadness over powers you it is difficult to feel any other feelings. Even feeling happy makes you feel guilty and uneasy. Slow but effective way to over cone sadness is to engage yourself in some neutral activities such as cleaning. Walking or readjng a light book. Once you try that for few days you may be ready for following things. There are few things I would like you to try. 1. When you feel sad. Feel the feeling of sadness fully. You may close your eyes and let that sadness flow through your mind and body. If tears flow let them flow. Cry it out. Feeling what you feel fully and totally is healing. Once you feel your sadness fully. You might feel the lightness in your heart. Feel that too and say out loud. How wonderful! and engage your mind remembering some good qualities and good times you spent with the person you are missing. 2. Regular simple breath awareness meditation also help manage your loss. 3. You may also l write daily 3 to 5 things you are grateful to every morning. These things could be as simple as having a bed to sleep and food to eat. Affirm what you write and add new thing in your list for 7 to10 days. If you are not feeling any change over next 2 weeks or if you lack motivation to initiate and maintain above activities feel free contact me and we could work together for few weeks to months to reverse your cycle and help you appreciate what you have. I would suggest you to work with a counselor who can help you with your stress and anxiety. After accident it is very likely that you are traumatized. Whatever it is you need help and support working with. Neurologist and psychiatrist have expertise in different area and may not be able to help you learn ways to deal with your anxiety and depression. Hope this helps. My Blood pressure 140/90 So. That which type food eat or not eat I have 2 spoon flaxseed eat daily also I take 8_9 glasses water with lemon take. 30 minutes jogging done daily. Anxiety patients worry too much. No need to do so. Relax Nothing is going to happen to you. Take regular exercise for one hour daily Stop alcohol and smoke No need to worry. Take nexito 10 mg daily Yoga and breathing exercise All the best Stimulants like coffee tea smoking to be avoided. Curd one cup morning and evening is good. Lot of leafy veg, fruits of all colours eg rainbow fruits are good Omega 3 fatty acid containing fish is good or you can take tablet instead.

Good Evening, I am a 29 year Old Unfit & Freaky Man looking to get back into Perfect Shape over a small period of time. I have 15 months to get slim before I may think of getting married. Dear, Weight loss in itself is tricky and a dogma. If you worry yourself and try to hard to reduce your weight and proovide a time limit for it, by strict following, you may loose weight. But it will be in the expense of peace and health. You will be stressed. Try to be happy and do your duties and you will start loosing weight. Alter your habit one by one. For a week reduce sugar in tea and enjoy it. Next week run for a mile and enjoy it. Start cultivating healthy habits and stick to it. Slowly you will loose weight. That is the correct procedure. Hi lybrate-user, I know how hurting it is to see your love and best friend involved with each other, it will get time to get rid of that feeling. But you its good you came to know about it so now stay away from them. What they did was betrayal and the best revenge is not get bothered and move on. You are young and will have many meaningful relationships. They do not deserve your time, attention and energy. Karma will take care of it. Consult for counseling, learn to manage the stress you are facing through therapy. All the best.

CONCENTRATION TIPS Here’s some tips to get into a state of deep concentration where work / or studies flow easily so that you can do well in examinations/ and or do your work well. 1) Cut Off the Noise Getting into a state of concentration can take at least fifteen minutes. If you are getting distracted every five, you can’t possibly focus entirely on your work. Request that people don’t interrupt you when working on a big project. If you are required to answer phones and drop-in’s immediately, schedule work when the office is less busy. 2) Structure Your Environment The place you work can have an impact on your ability to focus. Try to locate yourself so you are facing potential distractions such as doors, phones or windows. This way you can take a glance to assess sounds that would otherwise break your focus. 3) Clarify Objectives Know what your goal is clearly before you start. If you aren’t sure what the end result is, the confusion will make it impossible to focus. 4) Divide Blobs. If you have a large project that needs work, clearly identify a path that you will use to get started working on it. If the sequence of actions isn’t obvious, it will be difficult to concentrate. Taking a few minutes to plan not only your end result, but the order you will complete any steps, can save hours in wasted thinking. 5) Know the Rules Get clear on what the guidelines are for the task ahead. What level of quality do you need? What standards do you need to follow? What constraints are there? If the rules aren’t clear from the outset, you will slip out of concentration as you ponder them later. 6) Set a Deadline Deadlines have both advantages and disadvantages when trying to force concentration. A deadline can make it easier to forget the non-essential and speed up your working time. If you give yourself only an hour to design a logo, you will keep it simple and avoid fiddling with extravagant designs. Time limits have disadvantages when they cause you to worry about the time you have left instead of the task itself. 7) Break down Roadblocks Roadblocks occur whenever you hit a tricky problem in your work. This can happen when you run out of ideas or your focus wavers. Break down roadblocks by brainstorming or planning on a piece of paper. Writing out your thought processes can keep you focused even if you might become frustrated. 8) Isolate Yourself Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone. 9) Healthy Body, Sharper Mind What you put into your body affects the way you concentrate. Nobody would expect peak performance if they showed up drunk to work. But if you allow yourself to get chronic sleep deprivation, overuse stimulants like caffeine or eat dense, fatty foods your concentration will suffer. Try to cut out one of your unhealthy habits for just thirty days to see if there is a difference in your energy levels. I’ve found even small steps can create dramatic changes in my ability to focus. 10) Be Patient Before I write an article, I often sit at my desk for a fifteen or twenty minutes before I put finger on the keyboard. During this time I feel a strong urge to leave or do something else. But I know that if I am patient, I’ll stumble upon an idea to write about and enter a state of flow. Without a little patience, you can’t take advantage of flow when it rushed through you. If you need strong concentration I recommend periods of 90-120 minutes. Any less than that and you will waste too much time getting started before the flow can continue. More than this is possible to sustain focus, but you will probably benefit from a quick break. These are the general guidelines for concentration, studying well or doing your job. Regards.

It's clear that estrogen is closely linked with women's emotional well-being. Depression and anxiety affect women in their estrogen-producing years more often than men or postmenopausal women. Estrogen is also linked to mood disruptions that occur only in women --premenstrual syndrome, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and postpartum depression.

Exactly how estrogen affects emotion is much less straightforward. Is it too much estrogen? not enough? it turns out estrogen's emotional effects are nearly as mysterious as moods themselves.

Hi am 34 yrs old male. I have problem of listening while small team meeting with my office mates and I unable to concentrate in any of the activities like work related or reading the newspaper and policies. Sometimes my mind is going somewhere when someone is discussing with their opinions. And most of the times my mind went blank or not function properly. Most of the times I struggle in taking right decision. I can't involved any activities continuously. I dono which thing is interested or suitable for me. Dear lybrate-user, please introspect. There are many occasion in our life, we often go away from what is being happening around us. Those occasion are very few and we need to realize that. If you try to generalize that, then it could be a problem. You will be able to take decisions when you have experience in those aspects. Switch off mobile phone when you go to bed and switch it on at 6am.
