Hello mam/sir, I had jaundice (acute hepatitis e) in april 2016, now my reports are normal and doctor allowed me to take every kind of food. My starvation has been increased because of jaundice. I am taking 4-5 small meals in a day since 2.5 months. My weight is getting increased . Would you please suggest me that what kind of exercise/yoga should I do? And when my diet will be normal as it was before? And what kind of food should I take so that the weight should not increase? Thank you.

Few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit and can practice suryanamaskar daily as per your capacity.

You first change your diet and lifestyle you have said you have obesity which needs to be fixed before it creates complications elsewhere in the body. Cook own food, no outside food 1) detailed dietary, eating and lifestyle habits history. 2) the comprehensive lab testing which should include tests for inflammation, mineral and vitamin deficiency. Focusing only on doing tests specific to your complaint will not fix your problem These 2 steps needs to be done correctly before suggesting the correct treatment. Take a. Consult after sending feedback with name and contact number .All diseases begin in the gut and no health issue can be fixed without fixing diet and lifestyle..

I wanted to know where I can get the best possible treatment for peyronie disease in Mumbai. If you could provide me with the details regarding treatment cost and any other vital information, I would be very grateful.

I wanted to know where I can get the best possible treatment for peyronie disease in Mumbai. If you could provide me ...
Hello- Dietary supplements in the form of organic, healthy herbs are proven effective in the recovery and natural healing of the peyronie's disease/penile curve disorder. Gotu Kola is an Indian herb used for healing skin and connective tissue. L-carnitine is an amino acid shown to reduce penis curvature. Para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) heals abnormal fibrous tissue. Vitamin E improves Peyronie's Disease when taken orally. Ashwagandha and schizandra ensure potency. Damiana is good for improving blood flow to the genitalia. Sarsaparilla contains a testosterone-like substance for men. Wild yam has natural steroids that rejuvenate and encourage vigorous lovemaking. Yohimbe bark expands the blood vessels in the penis and increases blood flow and nitrous oxide production, both important for achieving an erection.

I am 26 years old female. I have pimples and dark spots and and no one products suit on my skin. What should I do for...
Acne or pimples is a chronic disease involving the pilosebaceous follicles. Sebaceous glands are found most abundantly on the face and scalp, though they are present on every part of the skin except the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Though the sebaceous gland is a mini organ, it is anatomically and functionally related to the hair follicle. Cutaneous disorders attributed to the sebaceous gland are really disorders of the entire pilosebaceous unit. The areas most commonly involved in acne are the face, upper chest, and back. Other less common areas include the upper arms, buttocks, and upper thighs. Acne arises from the interaction of 4 factors 1. Excess sebum production caused by androgenic stimulation of sebaceous glands; 2. Outlet obstruction of the sebaceous follicle arising from excess production of keratinocytes (the basic cell of the epidermis); 3. Increased proliferation of the bacteriaPropionibacterium acnes that normally live in the sebaceous follicle; and 4. Inflammation caused by sebum escaping into the surrounding skin. Excessive manipulation by the patient, causing the primary lesions to disappear and leaving excoriated, raw-looking marks. This is called acne excoriée and can cause scar formation. For removal of black marks you can apply pure coconut oil daily before sleeping, don't apply while going out in sun together with this constitutional homoeopathic treatment will give you best results.

. He is feeling weakness when doing the work and then stop. So please say about this That his take which medicine.

B.Sc. - Dietitics / Nutrition, Nutrition Certification,Registered Dietitian
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Delhi
Weakness is a result of lack of physical or muscle strength. If you are feeling that extra effort is required to move your arms, legs, or other muscles, it could also be a result of any disease, illness and too much activity at one time and not taking the food to match the amount of physical effort you are doing. Sometimes low levels of minerals (electrolytes), such as potassium or sodium also result in body weakness. Other important reason could be the problems with your thyroid gland. Because your thyroid gland is responsible for regulating the way the body uses energy. A low thyroid level can cause fatigue, weakness, laziness, weight gain etc. And a high thyroid level can cause fatigue, weight loss, muscle weakness etc. Sometime because of stress you may feel disinterest in your routine works. Since the reasons for your weakness are not known, I shall advise the following - 1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Male Menopause - Causes, Symptoms And Treatment

Male menopause also called ‘andropause’ is characterized by changes in the male hormone 'testosterone’ due to age. Other names that are used to describe similar symptoms are ‘androgen deficiency’, ‘testosterone deficiency’ and ‘late-onset of hypogonadism’.

What Is Male Menopause?

Because men do not go through a well-defined period referred to as menopause, some doctors refer to this problem as androgen (testosterone) decline in the aging male -- or what some people call low testosterone. Men do experience a decline in the production of the male hormone testosterone with aging, but this also occurs with conditions such as diabetes (read more about diabetes problem). Testosterone is a hormone which is produced in the testes and it plays an important role in a man’s body; from regulating sex drive, increasing energy levels in the body, maintaining muscle mass to bringing about changes during puberty. Male menopause differs from female menopause in a few aspects and not all men are affected by it. However, this condition doesn’t cause impotence.

Symptoms:

Along with the decline in testosterone, some men experience symptoms that include:

  1. Fatigue
  2. Weakness
  3. Depression
  4. Sexual problems

Symptoms:

The symptoms of male menopause are low energy levels, fatigue, depression and an inability to focus on anything. You will lose muscle tone coupled with an increase in body fat; the muscles in the body also tend to become weak. Some other symptoms are decreased bone density and breast development.

Causes:

There are no specific causes as such, but aging is known to play a major role in male menopause. Certain lifestyle factors such as depression, stress and anxiety can cause some symptoms of male menopause to show up such as erectile dysfunction. Not eating a balanced diet and not following a proper exercise regimen and drinking or smoking excessively can trigger symptoms of male menopause.

Treatment:

Once the diagnosis is done, the doctor will chart out a treatment course. The common treatment for male menopause is to make certain changes in your lifestyle – eating a well-balanced diet, getting optimal sleep and exercising regularly. Making these types of changes has been proven to dramatically improve the health of men affected by male menopause.

Another option is hormone replacement therapy, wherein synthetic or artificial testosterone is administered to the body. It is similar to performance e    nhancers in terms of its side effects. So it is advised to consult your doctor and take a well-founded decision on whether to go ahead with the hormone replacement therapy.

Ayurvedic Management of Male Menopause:

  1. Manage your emotions through yoga and meditation.
  2. Attend couple’s counselling and talk your doctor about your issues. Educate yourself and your family about the condition.
  3. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
  4. Maintain your weight by doing regular exercise and diet.
  5. Do regular body oil massage with Ksheerabala taila, Sesame oil or Mahanarayana taila.
  6. You can undergo Ayurvedic treatments like Shirodhara, Rasayana and Vajikarana chikitsa to rejuvenate your body and enhance your sexual health.

Ayurvedic medicines like Ashwagandha, Kapikachhu, Shilajit, Gokshura, Musli, Amalaki, Punarnava, Chandraprabha vati, etc. are very beneficial.
