It may be due to abortion (few days after fertilization of egg,), now periods will disturb up to 2-3 months, then it could be fine. If you want pregnancy than should consult accordingly. Bcoz, 12th day after period, there is a chance to get pregnant.

I am diagnosed with mild pcod changes in ovary. Ovary size RT OVARY-2.5x3.1 cm LT OVARY-3.1x3.2 cm Is it too serious? I have just 8-10 cysts and my prolactin and thyroid tests are normal. I am not obese. The only symptom I have is acne. I get more than 10 periods a year. I miss periods during exam time due to stress.

Subashree, your ovarian size looks fine. See a dermatologist for your acne problem. If your periods are regular apart from your exam time, don't worry about PCOD.

Bladder Pain - Common Causes That Can Lead To It!

Bladder Pain - Common Causes That Can Lead To It!

Bladder is an organ of the lower abdomen which stores urine. Though it is a problem common to both men and women, women are two times more prone to be affected than men.

The following are some of the causes that give rise to bladder pain.

  1. Bacterial infection or urinary tract infection is one of the common causes of bladder pain. Women are more likely to encounter uninary tract infection. It occurs if bacteria sneak in through the urethra leading to develop an infection in the urinary tract, which in turn affects the urinary bladder.
  2. Sometimes bladder stones can also give rise to bladder pain.
  3. Painful Bladder Syndrome is yet another cause, wherein your bladder holds pee after your kidneys have filtered it but before you pee it out. This condition causes pain and pressure below your belly button, causing pain in the bladder.
  4. Chronic pelvic pain is pain in the area below your bellybutton and between your hips that lasts six months or longer. There are multiple causes for such pain.
  5. Bladder cancer is another possible cause of bladder pain. If uncontrolled cancer cells are formed in the bladder, then it gives rise to bladder cancer. Bladder cancer is one of the most common cancers and generates unbearable pain in the bladder.
  6. Interstitial cystitis is another condition which gives rise to severe bladder pain. This condition is more commonly seen in women. The bladder becomes inflamed and irritated and the pain gets worse when the bladder is full or during menstruation. It is a chronic condition.
  7. Urethral stricture is another cause of bladder pain. Men are likely to be more affected by this condition. In this case, the urethra becomes inflamed and narrow creating difficulties to pass urine.
  8. Yeast infection also known as, Torulopsis is another cause of bladder pain.

Bladder pain can vary from being mild to severe. But, no matter what the degree of pain is, it requires serious medical attention.

I have unbearable itching in vagina and burning sensation during urination from the last few days. I am using V wash to rinse vagina daily.

BHMS
Homeopath, Hooghly
I think this may be due to any fungal infection also may be due to urinary tract infection. Test your urine for RE, ME,CS. Take plenty of water. Take alkasol 2 teaspoon in a glass of water twice daily. Contact me after the test is done. Or you can contact now also. By homoeopathic medicine this is very much curable.

Dear Lybrate User , Irregular menstruation or absence of menstrual period for more than two months need to evaluate clinically. First kindly do Hormonal assay - FSH LH PRL E2 TSH PROGESTERONE TESTOSTERONE . Irregular Periods Advice Irregular periods can be caused due to different reasons like stress, poor nutrition, sudden weight loss, excessive exercise, anorexia nervosa and the most common hormonal disturbances in women.  If you have already been told that irregularity in your periods is due to certain hormonal imbalances then to correct them is important. For example a thyroid hormone imbalance can cause menstrual irregularities when the amount of thyroid hormone is the blood is too low or high. Try the following simple tips to regularize your menstrual flow - Avoid any sudden weight changes. Eating disorders like anorexia or low nutrient stores in the body can cause irregular periods. So have a well balanced diet with whole cereals and grains, pulses, dairy products, eggs, fish, lean meat and poultry, not to forget plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.Avoid any kind of stress as far as possible as the main cause of irregular periods is stress (fear, depression, a family holiday, stress at work, relationship stress). Get moderate regular exercise as exercise like a light jog or meditation is a good way to burn the stress levels in the body.To regularize your periods drink a glass of fresh carrot juice daily on regular basis for 3 months.Asafetida, fenugreek seeds, sesame seeds and ginger also help to regularize the periods, liberally include them in your meals while cooking.  For any further clinical assistant kindly revert back to me. Thanking You.

Hi if you ask exclusive breast milk then it is 6 months after you should start weaning. You have to gradually discourage breast milk because after 6 months water content is increase in breast milk nd baby did not get adequate calories. Up to 2 years we can cont. Breast feed but frequency should be less.
