Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.

I would like to examine the patient in detail & investigate. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days,

You may take rhus tox. 30 thrice a day for two days and apply mustard oil mixed with camphor and do massageof your wrist. Also you should take mag. Phos 12 x four time a day with water for two days.

Hello since its diagnosed as a osteoarthritis (oa) of knee, the physiotherapy treatment will depend upon the stage of oa. You need to follow a oa rehabilitation program, which includes following 1) decreasing the inflammation through icing mild exercises 2) stretching of the calf, hams, it band 3) strengthening of the muscles around knee 4) non weight bearing exercises example cycling hope

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Heel pain as in your situation is most likely due to plantar fascitis. There is inflammation of plantar fascia which is a sheath of tissue in sole of foot extending from heel bone to toes. The treatment mostly is conservative and lifestyle modifications to achieve maximum functionality with minimum pain. Follow these lifestyle changes religiously to get benefit. 1. Reduce body weight as obesity will aggravate the stress on heel. 2. Avoid exercises like running / walking on hard surfaces. Stop such activities when you start developing pain. 3. Roll your feet on bottle of cold water for 20 mins 4 times a day or can apply ice pack. 4. Use shoes with silicone sole inserts. 5. Do calf muscle and heel stretches daily. 6. Avoid prolonged standing or sitting. 7. Use night splint to keep foot flexed at night. Stop using it once pain is relieved. 8. Use analgesics like ibuprofen for decreasing pain and inflammation. With proper lifestyle changes as above 90 % patients have relief and functionality. Only 10% patients would require surgical intervention like plantar fascia release or gastrocnemius recession.

Normally stress also produce muscle fatigue and pain. Do take ift and laser therapy for pain relief of 12 days followed by strengthening exercises from physiotherapist best wishes.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. Also press the web between the second and third finger from the toe in the foot for 2 minutes. Take cinammon powder 1 tsp with honey in the empty stomach in the morning/ this will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

At this age you may be suffering from calcium deficiency, over exertion or osteoarthritis. Best home remedy is to take calcium rich supplements and to apply mahanarayan tail on affected part two times a day followed by massage.

Mera beta 3 saal ka hai. Lekin wo theek se chal nahi pata. Ungali pakarkar cha lane m wo sirf panjo par chalata h. Main uski physiotherapy kara rha hu. But koi positive result nhi as rha h. Please advice me.

Dear lybrate-user, Meanwhile, gentle massage over knees with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oils daily for about 15-20 minutes and hot fomentation afterwards will greatly help in subsiding the pain. Ayurveda’s Panchakarma offers specialized treatment of JANU BASTI for knee pains - these procedures would give strength to your knee and reduce the pain and stiffness. Regular oiling the joint will improve the lubrication also. Use knee caps over the joints and avoid over exertion of the joint. Avoid sitting crossed legs. This will greatly help.

dont stress your body too much. As you are only 16 so your muscles have also not developed fully..Take rest for 2-3 days from gym..take tablet hifenac-mr twice daily for 2 days

I had fever 4 days back. Had been to a General Physician and they suggested some medicines. I have severe knee joint pain and ankle joint pain from 4 days. I shared the same to the GP and she told it is viral fever. The fever came down after a day itself. However the joint pain is still there. I am a breast feeding mother. Worried - could it be dengue or chikungunya?

Lybrate-user ji you are right you have chicken guniya. But do not worry you wil be alright in 2 months. But after you become alright you wil have to reduce your weight. Acording to your height your weight should be less than 67 kg. So reduce it by minimum 11 kg. For that you can join a gym.
