If all checkups are normal, the the common reason for this is gas accumulation due to not proper digestive system of urs. If you have constipation, it should be treated. Revert me back for medicines.

Hi, Your BP readings are OK; but your heart rate is quite high (normal 70-80 per minute). Therefore, I would advise you to undergo an ECG and 2D ECHO test to know the exact cause of the increased heart rate.

Try without medications first. Reduce sugar, jaggery, and starchy foods. Take balanced diet, not restricted diet, start walks or some enjoyable exercise. Measure BP once monthly. Best wishes.

Dear lybrateuser, -The pain could be due to acidity -do not skip meals, have meals on time, avoid spicy, fried & junk foods, more than 1-2 cups of tea/coffee, alcohol, nicotine, chew your food well, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime -have8-10 glasses of water for proper digestion -if not much relief then get x-ray chest, ecg done & consult a doctor.

You need to go for meditation to reduce your stress and build up your stamina as well to feel strong from within. Do regular exercise at home. Mqke sure you have a good protein source in your diet like soyabean, sattu with milk, eggs, sprouts, milk and milk products combination of cereals and pulses, take healthy and heavy breakfast. Don't skip breakfast. Avoid junk food. No drink before meals. Go with protein supplements called nutrilite protein powder which helps to increase your muscle strength.

It's not fair to interfere in treatment given by another doctor but as a general rule rice and daal is not complete food. You do need to take some good fats like a spoon of ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts everyday plus lots of seasonal vegetables and fruits plus eating according to constitution. Take more proteins like milk and curds. All of these are digestible.

I have low blood pressure problem since many years, I have also consulted many doctors but still the problem is same. What should I do?

MBBS, MD - Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine Specialist, Faridabad
Low blood pressure (hypotension) can occur in anyone, though certain types of low blood pressure are more common depending on your age or other factors: Age. Drops in blood pressure on standing or after eating occur primarily in adults older than 65. Orthostatic, or postural, hypotension happens after standing up, while postprandial hypotension happens after eating a meal. Neurally mediated hypotension happens as a result of a miscommunication between the brain and heart. It primarily affects children and younger adults. Medications. People who take certain medications, such as high blood pressure medications like alpha blockers, have a greater risk of low blood pressure. Certain diseases. Parkinson's disease, diabetes and some heart conditions put you at a greater risk of developing low blood pressure.

Please avoid taking medicines for normal issues. You are ok. Focus on eating natural healthy foods. Do daily exercise. Keep fit, keep healthy. Avoid medicines unless it is an emergency. All medicines have side effects. Avoid them.
