My father age is 50 and he suffering in high blood pressure 142/94
My question is black tea reduces the blood pressure?
Though not documented in scientific records yet green tea and black tea have many antioxidants hence it can be helpful in lowering blood pressure Thanks.

I am 40 years male I have problem to listen last 5 years the doctor says it is otosclerosis and it is not curable. Is it true ?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
If it is otosclerosis then there r only 2 procedures for treatment 1. Hearing aids 2. Stapedectomy surgery but with the above procedures also success rate is very low. I will advise you to start homoeo treatment with much better results and report me after 4-6 months of taking the medicine violo odorata q (dr. Reckeweg or sbl) 20 drops in 20 ml fresh water 3 times a day calcarea fluor 6x (dr. Reckeweg) chew 4 tabs every 4 hrly means 4 times a day.

I have borderline cholesterol. Should I start taking medicine or do I wait for some more time? Its genetic.
Hello. High blood cholesterol is treated with lifestyle changes and medicines. There are few risk factors: Cigarette smoking High blood pressure (140/90 mmHg or higher), or you’re on medicine to treat high blood pressure Low high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (less than 40 mg/dL) Family history of early heart disease (heart disease in father or brother before age 55; heart disease in mother or sister before age 65) Age (men 45 years or older; women 55 years or older) Food to be avoided: -Saturated fat which is found in some meats, dairy products, chocolate, baked goods, and deep-fried and processed foods. -You also should try to limit the amount of sodium (salt) that you eat. -Try to limit drinks with alcohol. Too much alcohol will raise your blood pressure and triglyceride level. Food to be taken: -Whole-grain cereals such as oatmeal and oat bran -Fruits such as apples, bananas, oranges, pears, and prunes -Legumes such as kidney beans, lentils, chick peas, black-eyed peas, and lima beans -A diet rich in fruits and vegetables can increase important cholesterol-lowering compounds in your diet. -A healthy diet also includes some types of fish, such as salmon, tuna (canned or fresh), and mackerel. These fish are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids. These acids may help protect the heart from blood clots and inflammation and reduce the risk of heart attack. Try to have about two fish meals every week. If you’re overweight or obese, losing weight can help lower LDL cholesterol. Routine physical activity can lower LDL cholesterol and triglycerides and raise your HDL cholesterol level. Medication: Homoeopathic medicine - Cholesterinum 30/ thrice daily for 4 weeks.

The best practical way would be for her to get her health reviewed there. That's because we have to allow the doctor to check her and decide what to prescribe. Later you can send the generic medicine from here if needed.

Gastric problems take time and invesigations like any other organ disease. If AIIMS has declared reports to be normal, it is good for you. Modify your eating habits, take less fats and spices. Eat regularly ,soft and digestible food. Dewormong to be done by taking a tablet of bandy plus, every 6 months. Digestive enzymes like unizyme / aristozyme after food may help you. At 18, you are underweight too, get blood tested for cbc and a monteaux test. Get back here with reports.

Even at the ages of 78 most of cardiac surgeries are safe, there will be some complication if she has other diseases (diabeyes, asthma) along with it, and I hope the surgeon and anasthetics take proper precaution for that.

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain. Take anti cholesterol medicines .
