Sir, my age is 28 years. I had been diagnosed with Gilbert's syndrome in 2004. Earlier, I used to be sharper & attentive. But since 2009, I have started forgetting things. I don't find myself focused on a particular thing. I can't perform multiple tasks at a time (that much effectively). I searched the net and found out that GS patients may develop forgetfulness. Is GS the primary cause of these things? In that case, what should I do to rectify my GS? Some examples of problems faced by me (not always) : 1. I want to copy files from x folder to y. I go to x, select files (takes some time) and moves to paste it but where ? I forgot. Then after 2-3 seconds, I remember and paste it to y folder. 2. I had given the room key to x person while working on something (sitting with z person). After finishing work, we (myself & Z) returned to room to see room is locked. I started searching key (which I usually keep in my left pocket). Didn?t find it. Started searching other pockets. Not getting it. Panicked. Went back to the place I was sitting. Z person waited there itself. Didn?t find there too. On the way back to room, y person handed over me the key (in front of Z). I wonder how come it reached to him. He explained the key has been given to him by x person. I am still clueless how did it reach to x person. Z person (who was till then enjoying my fiasco) reminded me of giving the key to x. Then only I remembered. Quite embarrassing it was! 3. Locked the door. Came downstairs. Started thinking I haven?t. Needed to go back to check it again. (Had I been attentive enough while locking itself, I wouldn't have required to go back & check).

It is because your brain does not receive proper inputs.Do meditation in the early morning.Of Course it take some time to get into normal.But when you start continuing mediation regularly,it will be helpful.For time inspite of your work kindly note down in your notebook.What to do,where to keep things,whom to give certainly ok.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Remember, there's no magic bullet for weight loss. The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. Choose a variety of healthy foods — such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein — and include physical activity in your daily routine. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. (Slow and steady weight loss is good. As we all know when you lose weight fast, it seems to jump right back on, where as when you lose weight steadily over time because of changes to your diet and balancing your hormones out it tends to stay off.) Hello lybrate-user, You want to commit suicide because of health issues I really pity you for your thoughts. What a joy to have children and six year old son wow. How much naughty he would be. Enjoy your life looking at him. No one can love your child like you do. Who will be there to fulfill your duty towards your son. God has given you this son because he knew you'll be the best who can bring him up as a big boy. And coming to your health issues please meet a Physiotherapist for a knee pain. Your pain will come down within 5-7 days start exercising go out for walks. If you are in Bangalore please meet would definitely help you out.

I am going gym everyday but compared to my friends there is no increase in my strength I notice. I can't lift that much thats why can" t puff up my body what should I do. Thanx in advance.

Hye. Thanks for the query. If you're a beginner at gyming, first you need to increase your upper and lower body strength before you hit the weights. You need to start with basic exercises to increase your strength a little bit and get your body into shape. A lot of youngsters when they start out bodybuilding or gyming they go in the gym with the intention of jumping into heavy weights and dumbells from the first day itself. They go to the rack and pick up the largest weight they think they can lift. Not only are you going to be struggling to lift the weight but your form is so sloppy and you have not practice that you can hurt yourself more than increasing your muscles. Bodybuilding or gyming is not about lifting heavy, its all about proper technique and physique. A lot of times at the gym as soon as you are starting out, you are just working out the same muscle day in and day out, eg your biseps. You are tearing your muscle instead of letting it grow. You must let your muscles grain strength, practice and rest before you can work that muscle. Your muscles are not growing when you are working out but when you are resting. Another point  to remember is proper nutrition. You have to watch what enters your body. You need to not only eat to manage workout but also your growth and development.  Poor nutrition can lead to poor or stunted growth. So, if you concentrate on all these factors you can see better results.

Take green veg and mosambi juice and avoid constipation and fatty food take plenty of water and papaya every day and avoid non veg skip lunch with mild breakfast and dinner take warm water with lemon and honey 2 glass daily empty stomach walk for at least 4-5 km daily.

The vitamin C present in lemon juice can also help remove dark circles under the eyes, thanks to its skin-lightening properties. Use a cotton ball to apply fresh lemon juice around your eyes. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse it off. Do this once daily for a few weeks.

Hi , running cannot be started all of sudden u may need some leg muscle strength. Before running, sports gear check is very important. Your shoes should have good shock absorption. Then u need quadriceps, hamstring, calf muscle and gluteal strength is very important. Drink lot of water to reduce uric acid initially. Consult physician for further management.

Dear lybrate-user, please understand your panic disorder well. Stalopam lite needs to be taken for months. Can not be stopped so soon. Please consult your doctor about your disturbance before increasing the dose. You can also add cognitive therapy of knowing the situation of panic attacks, equating your symptoms to grave disease or death etc. For example you have to question whether heart beating is equal to heart attack and death. For that you have to consult more frequently a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist who is trained in cbt.

Hi, need to know your age, need to know if you are pregnant or not, cause sometimes in pregnancy their is urge of urination, and sometimes it may happen due to renal stones, you need to get ultrasound whole abdomen done, to rule out these problems. Some time it may happen in UTI (urinary tract infection),

Hye. Most often the reason for it is the increasing demand of all foods. Secondly, want to get fruits and vegetables that are not even local or seasonal. So, to make foods available you need to ripen them before season and also increase their shelf life as they are travelling a great distance to reach you. The best way is to eat local and seasonal foods so as to avoid the hormones and pesticides added.
