Apply hot fomentation twice daily. \navoid bending in front. \npostural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a da.

Sir/madam I am having heavy left shoulder pain the pain starts from shoulder and up to left arm knee intolerable pain I take hifenac p for past one month but no use. I am a ASD closure patient and I am having two fracture in left leg knee one hairline fracture and one depressed fracture. But the left shoulder pain intolerable pls help.

Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation.

I am 56 years old I am diabetic patient my ring side leg and thigh from buttocks are paining I am not able sit properly and get up please suggest what I should do.

Diabetes must be controlled beyond any shadow of doubt. This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

I have recently started long-distance running. From the past 15 days, I am feeling a mild pain in calf muscles of my left leg. This is a continuous pain. The left leg feels heavy and this is restricting me from further running. What should I do to get rid of this problem?

Treatment at first includes regular ice, Do it for 20-30 minutes every 3 to 4 hours for 2 to 3 days, or until the pain is gone, together with reduced mileage or rest. Addressing the causes is likely to include ensuring that shoes have adequate cushioning and stability, and building up training mileage slowly. Take anti-inflammatory painkillers. Do range-of-motion exercises. To strengthen the muscles of the lower leg, place a weighted ring on your foot. Point your foot up, in and out 10 times; perform three sets. The pain usually subsides as fitness improves. Go to physiotherapist to identify and treat issues in your legs or running mechanics that may be causing pain. A therapist can also help ease the pain and guide your return to sport. Best wishes.

Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

You know the cause of your backpain- studying on bed so Correct it. 1. Use table chair for studies. Chair with back rest and feet should rest on floor. 2. Take analgesics like paracetamol for relief and start back stretcheingle and strengthening exercises once pain is relieved. 3. Apply warm water bag on back for 10 mins 4 times a day. 4. Take breaks in between study and take a walk. 5. Do not bend and lift weights. 6. Go for activities like swimming. If your problem is persistent consult again.

I am 63 years old male. I am suffering from lumber and spondylitis pain. Few months back I fell down due to vertigo resulting inner injury in my head. Very often I suffer from vertigo and also lumber pain. Please advice me treatment to get relief from pain and attack of vertigo.

There are many causes of vertigo, one of which can be degenerative cervical spine causing compression, so you need to send me a detailed neurological examination and mri of your cervical spine so that I can see and advise you accordingly. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Hello according to your condition you have to take hot water fermentation through towel and do it 3 times in a day duration-15 min along with stretching and back exercises like straingh leg raising, bridging with -20 min repetition -5 sec hold do it for 3 days sure you will get well soon take care.
