Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

What is insomnia?

Insomnia includes a wide range of sleeping disorders, from lack of sleep quality to lack of sleep quantity. Insomnia is commonly separated into three types:

  • Transient insomnia- occurs when symptoms last up to three nights.
  • Acute insomnia- also called short-term insomnia. Symptoms persist for several weeks.
  • Chronic insomnia- this type lasts for months, and sometimes years.

According to the national institutes of health, the majority of chronic insomnia cases are side effects resulting from another primary problem.

Insomnia can affect people of any age; it is more common in adult females than adult males. The sleeping disorder can undermine school and work performance, as well as contributing to obesity, anxietydepression, irritability, concentration problems, memory problems, poor immune system function, and reduced reaction time.

Insomnia has also been associated with a higher risk of developing chronic diseases. According to the national sleep foundation, 30-40 percent of american adults report that they have had symptoms of insomnia within the last 12 months, and 10-15 percent of adults claim to have chronic insomnia

Causes of insomnia

Insomnia can be caused by physical and psychological factors. There is sometimes an underlying medical condition that causes chronic insomnia, while transient insomnia may be due to a recent event or occurrence. Insomnia is commonly caused by:

Signs and symptoms of insomnia

Insomnia itself may be a symptom of an underlying medical condition. However, there are many signs and symptoms that are associated with insomnia:

Difficulty falling asleep at night. Waking during the night. Waking earlier than desired. Still feeling tired after a night's sleep. Daytime, fatigue or sleepiness. Irritability, depression, or anxiety. Poor concentration and focus. Being uncoordinated, an increase in errors or accidents. Tension headaches (feels like a tight band around head. Difficulty socializing. Gastrointestinal symptoms. Worrying about sleeping.

Sleep deprivation can cause other symptoms. The afflicted person may wake up not feeling fully awake and refreshed, and may have a sensation of tiredness and sleepiness throughout the day.

Having problems concentrating and focusing on tasks is common for people with insomnia. According to the national heart, lung, and blood institute, 20 percent of non-alcohol related car crash injuries are caused by driver sleepiness

Non-pharmacological approaches and home remedies for insomnia include:

  • Improving "sleep hygiene"- not sleeping too much or too little, exercising daily, not forcing sleep, maintaining a regular sleep schedule, avoiding caffeine at night, avoiding smoking, avoiding going to bed hungry, and ensuring a comfortable sleeping environment.
  • Using relaxation techniques- such as meditation and muscle relaxation.
  • Cognitive therapy- one-on-one counseling or group therapy.
  • Stimulus control therapy- only go to bed when sleepy. Avoid watching tv, reading, eating, or worrying in bed. Set an alarm for the same time every morning (even weekends) and avoid long daytime naps.
  • Sleep restriction- decrease the time spent in bed and partially deprive the body of sleep, this increases tiredness ready for the next night.

Medical treatments for insomnia include:

Some people are more likely to suffer from insomnia than others; these include:

Hello. Try these steps: Drink two to four extra glasses of water a day (unless your doctor told you to limit fluids for another health reason). Try warm liquids, especially in the morning. Add fruits and vegetables to your diet. Eat prunes and bran cereal. Isabgol, also known as "psyllium husk," is a common health supplement used to treat constipation, other digestive problems, and a few non-digestive problems. It contains 70 percent soluble fiber and, as a result, acts as a bulk-forming laxative. The effectiveness of isabgol largely depends on your individual health needs and the manner in which you take it.Usually, you will need to take 1 to 2 tsp (5 to 10 ml) of isabgol with 1 cup of water (240 ml) or fluid daily at night until your constipation passes. The exact dosage may vary depending on age, medical condition, and response to treatment, however. Eat a well-balanced diet with plenty of fiber. Good sources of fiber are fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole-grain bread and cereal (especially bran). Drink 1 1/2 to 2 quarts of water and other fluids a day (unless your doctor has you on a fluid-restricted diet). Fiber and water work together to keep you regular. Avoid caffeine. It can be dehydrating. Check on milk. Some people may need to avoid it because dairy products may be constipating for them. Exercise regularly. Go to the bathroom when you feel the urge. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Biocombination-4/ thrice daily for 4 weeks.

Hi, Skin colour may vary as per the atmospheric conditions, the level of stress/ tension, hormonal changes, the duration of exposure to sunlight, some internal medical conditions, few medication's side effects, whether a person is happy or sad, etc. So, first of all, tell her - “Be happy and make others happy!” Follow this funda in your life and you will see the difference! Management: Include healthy, nutritious food, doing daily yoga or some kind of exercises. All these automatically reflects glow on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 – a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4 hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. Lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon, orange,gooseberry, etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, can notaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: Use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel or Bakson’s Fairness cream daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this 2-3 times a day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk which is very effective.

Due to compression force the small capillaries under the nail bed have been broken and the colection of blood is seen as blackish discolouration. This will move ahead with the growth of nail and may take weeks together depending upon the distance from the tip of the nail. For the pain you will need some analgesics.

Hair removal creams are manufactured for other regions of body like armpits, chests, pubic areas, legs and arms etc. And compared to other portions of a human body either in male or in females the facial skin is much sensitive and thinner. So never ever try to do experiments like this. And these hair removal creams contains some highly hazardous chemical which may have side effects on your face resulting in darkening of skin. Shaving creams, foams are specially prepared for requirements of face . So be alert face is most sensitive part of your body handle it with care.

For stomach pain take tablet meftalspas-ds with rantac and avoid spicy food in your diet and also avoid peanuts and potatoes in your diet and it might be due to enteritis.

It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. The lower end of the vertebral column is inflamed and that bone is called coccyx bone and the condition is called Coccydynia. The conservative management would be to keep ice in that inflamed area during one time in a day and also to sit in a hot water bowl where the penetration of the heat would help to reduce the inflammation. And to reduce the weight falling on the inflammed surface we suggest patients to use air cushion pillow (also called as doughnut pillow) where in the buttock's weight will not fall exactly on the painful tail bone and that would automatically reduce the pain.

Over 3 years ago I was having severe tingling of the feet and pain beginning from the lower back radiating to the rights and legs on both sides. With ong term use of neurobion forte I was better now he problem has come back and the pain ones to the groin area too. The last MRI finding suggested degenerative changes in lumbosacral spine. posture-lateral disc Bulge at L4_5&L5-S1 are indenting the cal sac and S1 nerve roots in the epidural fat without significant neural compression.
