Hello. I want to know about last period date and also if possible get your urine pregnancy test and ultrasound done. It will depend on this how to plan for your future medications. If you do not wish to have a pregnancy at present, then you should not waste time and get this checked as early as possible.

You have relations on 12th, 14th and 16th day of menstrual cycle if your cycle is regular. Keep yourself lied down for half an hour after intercourse. Keep a pillow under your back while intercourse. Take nutritious healthy food.

Tips For Good Appetite!

A healthy appetite refers to a positive sign of a healthy wellbeing. Many factors can contribute to loss of appetite, such as emotional disturbances, mild illness or severe health problems. 
Loss of appetite can cause depression, appendicitis, thyroid problems, infections, poor nutrition and some types of cancer.

The following are a few tips to maintain a healthy appetite-

 Daily breakfast:
It is the most important meal of the day. Consume a healthy balanced breakfast like sprouts, roti, idli, dosa, upma, egg, milk and fruits to help your metabolism get active after a long night fasting. Breakfast will give more energy so that you will be more active throughout the day. It should be full of vitamins, proteins and minerals.

 Eat small frequent meals:
Eating small frequent meals rather than three meals a day is an excellent way to build a healthy appetite. It also helps in lessening bloating and sluggishness after eating. Try four to six small meals a day to avoid feeling overly full.

Use aromatic herbs and spices in cooking:
Foods that have very pleasant or fragrant smell might enhance your appetite. Try to add herbs and spices of nice aroma like cinnamon, basil, oregano, asafoetida, etc.

 Water:
Drinking 4 to 5 liters of water daily is the best for body's temperature regulation and keeping it cool.

Snacks between meals:
Try a small bowl of your favorite snacks like nuts, roasted chickpeas, fruit salads, popcorn, etc. Just remember that snacks are not meant to be eaten instead of meals but in addition to them.

 Pick your favorite food items:
Consume those foods, which give satisfaction and that you enjoy.

Eat less fibre food:
It is present in fruits, vegetables and whole grain food and it is an essential component of any healthy diet. It feels like fullness, so the best is to use in moderation.

Exercise:
Regular physical activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. So, go for a daily brisk walk for approximately 45 minutes, exercises, yoga, meditation, cycling, swimming and always be relaxed.

Saying 'No' - How It Is Good For Your Health?

'No' appears to be a very simple and straightforward word. However, it can be shockingly hard to say. People most of the time agree to things that they really do not want. Since they would preferably feel overburdened and low rather than disappoint somebody, saying "no" feels easier to maintain connections with people.

The repercussions of this absence of disagreement is critical. By overcommitting ourselves, we are actually consuming the majority of our positive energy and using it somewhere where you might not want to. This takes away from our common character and quality. It leaves us tired and we meet each day like it is simply one more battle. We also give up our own requirements for space, stillness, relaxation and imagination and are bound to our state.

To stay away from this, we must know about our own necessities and priorities for both mental and physical well-being and joy. For this, one may have to know when saying "yes" will fulfill your requirement for rest, relaxation or self-awareness. When one does this, their unfounded dread of not being socially acceptable from saying "no" will go away gradually.

Here are three reasons why saying "no" can prove to be beneficial:

  1. You will have additional time: The extra time made by saying "no" will, at any rate, prevent that forced clock from ticking. It will make you feel like you are in control. This can truly lighten up your mood and lift your anxiety and bolster your health. Rather than saying yes to going out for lunch or a party that you feel obligated to go to, but might not want to, simply try to say no. You will automatically feel happier when you are sitting at home, relaxing rather than forcefully socialising.
  2. You will be less remorseful: At first, you may be reluctant to state "no" because of a paranoid fear of passing up a major opportunity or the fear of missing out. As a general rule, nonetheless, in case that you need to state "no," odds are you have much better explanations for you not being there. If you do go for it, you might regret it afterwards thinking that you could have done something better with your time rather than having completely wasted it.
  3. Your associates will respect you for it: No one wants that they should be taken for granted. However, in case that you continue saying "yes" to each demand or opportunity, that is precisely how individuals will come to see you. The more you say "yes," the more individuals will generally expect things of you. This could prompt to a drop in your status and position and loss of control over others.

Unfortunately baby was lost in 5 month and after that his wife doesn't get pregnant he went to a doctor and did some checkup seminal tests after that doctor told him that his sperm count is down needs suggestions. I am 50 years old lady with weight around 79 kg. Having irregular periods with heavy flow and severe stomach pain for past 4-5 years. 2015 and past ultrasound revealed a normal size uterus having one small fibroid. Undergone dnc and biopsy (which was negative) in 2013. Doctor advised to take trapic mf 3 times a day. Another private doctor advised me to undergo hysterectomy while government doctor advised me to go through this phase considering my age it may be sign of menopause. 1. Should I take medicine or go for operation? 2. If operation, will it be laparoscopy or major operation? I had 2 caesarean operations in 1987 and 1991. I was told that due to caesarean operations it may be not be possible to do laparoscopy as some organs may be joined with uterus over the years due to the internal stitches. Any clinical test that can reveal the above fact. 3. For how many days trapic mf can be taken. My last periods lasted for 20 to 25 days and therefore had to take it for all these days. Any side effect of taking trapic mf for long? 4. Also taking homeopathic medicine for the past 4-5 years was helping me to some extent. Recently medicine was changed which finally stopped the bleeding after 20 to 25 days but the side effect is that I am feeling very sleepy and lethargy.

if pain is occurring for long time it is better to do surgery. One can try with laparoscopy and if impossible to separate bladder from uterus one can proceed with open surgery. trapic mf should not be taken for so long. homeopathic medicine is of doubtful role in relieving these kind of conditions.

If she was given anti d injection after abortion, she can conceive again, getting tested for indirect coombs tests to know status of effects of negative blood group this is applicable to O negative women since you are O negative, it makes no difference to outcome of pregnancy baby will be either positive or negative.

Irregular periods usually signal an ovulation disorder ie abnormality in egg formation hence is most probably a contributing factor in difficulty in conception. You need to undergo hormonal blood tests and Ultrasound to determine the cause and management accordingly

On 28 June I had unprotected intercourse, taken unwanted 72 on the same day. Somehow another unwanted 72 taken on 30 June. My period date was 1st of every month. On 5&6 July I had very very less period. UPT done on 17 June & 1 August and it was negative. Ultrasound done on 1August & it was also negative. No sign of period yet. Kindly suggest what to do now.

Many times the periods become irregular due to abuse of pills. Moreover, the sedentary lifestyle, mental stress and lack of exercise can become an extra burden on the overall health of the body ( including the harmonal system ). After delivery you should avoid sex atleast 2 months in normal and 3 months in lscs. It is better to avoid cut in lscs pt because some times it can get infected in scar and I advise to use oral pills.

An Insight Into Sports Injuries!

Sports Injuries are very common and often results from using improper gear or poor training practices and refers to all those injuries that are faced by an individual while playing a sport. It is essential to understand the preventive measures as well as the therapeutic methods at a basic level.

Types of Sports Injuries
Sports injuries can be categorized as an Acute Injury and a Chronic Injury. Acute Sports Injury occurs suddenly during playing or exercising. Sudden pain, fracture, and strained back are some examples of acute injury. Acute injuries don’t possess any serious threats to one’s life and can be easily healed over a period of time, depending on the injury and the physical conditions of the individual. Chronic Sports Injuries, on the other hand, are those injuries which occur for a long time and is also termed as an overuse injury. Examples include Achilles tendinitis, runner's knee, and swimmer's shoulder.

Steps to follow after an injury
If you have encountered a sports injury, then it is advisable to follow four simple steps.

  1. The first step involves taking adequate rest. One should reduce their regular activities and take as much rest as possible to regain normal condition.
  2. The second step comprises of using ice packs on the affected area for 15-20 minutes. This should be followed at least three times a day. But don’t exceed the limit of 20 minutes, as over application might result in worsening the situation.
  3. The third step involves compression, i.e., exerting even pressure on the affected area, which might help in reducing swelling.
  4. The last step comprises of elevation. Always try to have the affected area at an elevated level to stimulate speedy recovery. Suppose you have hurt your foot badly, then always place your foot on a pillow and then take rest.

If you follow these steps, then you can expect to heal your injuries gradually. But make sure, that in the case of chronic sports injury, you immediately visit a doctor and follow his prescribed medication and measures. The stated steps can help in case of minor acute sports injuries only.

Precautionary measures for sports injuries
If you want to reduce the risk of sports injuries, then include warm up as a mandatory activity before starting off with any sport or exercise. It is believed that proper warm up can reduce the chances of injuries that can occur during playing sports or exercising. Apart from warm up, you can keep few points in mind to avoid sports injuries like never twist your knees while stretching, don’t do overstretching, know your body limits and act accordingly.

Adhering to established standard best practices while involved in sports can minimize the occurrence of an injury to a great extent.
