I am 29 years old man. I have habit of smoking I tried so many times to quit. But I can't quit so long. After few days or after a week I have tendency to restart it. How can stop it completely. Help me.

Bipolar disorder - Is it a Common Depression Type?

Depression is a very common emotion you might have experienced at least once during your lifetime. Depression refers to a state of mind when you are feeling low due to persistent sadness and loss of interest. But if the depression is chronic and long lasting for you, then it indicates that you are suffering from clinical depression. Under clinical depression, it is preferable that you go through a proper treatment course by a certified therapist. The Most common types of depressions are:

  1. Major depression - Under this type of a depression you will be depressed for most days of the week and if this condition extends for a period greater than 2 weeks, then it is a case of major depression. The most common method to treat a major depression is to talk to a mental health specialist and take medications called antidepressants (only after a prescription by a certified doctor).
  2. Persistent depressive disorder - This is a more severe and long lasting type of depression which is identified if you are depressed over a period longer than 2 hours. The most common symptoms of this type of a disorder are - change in your appetite, too much or too little sleep, lack of energy or fatigue, low self-esteem, trouble concentrating or making decisions, feeling hopeless among others.
  3. Bipolar disorderIf you are experiencing extreme ups and downs of mood abruptly and without any apparent reason, then you might be suffering from this disorder. This disorder is commonly known as a maniac depression, because during an up phase you will be extremely happy, joyful outgoing and talkative but during the low phase you will be sad, tired and depressed.
  4. Seasonal affective disorder - This type of a depression might bother you only during the winter season. This happens whenever the days are shorter and your body is not able to get enough of sunlight. This mostly happens in the case of people who are very fond of sunlight, and they prefer the sunshine over dark periods of the night. This disorder is treated by SAD antidepressants and everyday light therapy of 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Psychotic depression - Under this type of a depression, you will have a major depression along with some psychotic symptoms like - hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia. Hallucinations mean viewing things that are not there, in reality, delusions are false beliefs or misconceptions and paranoia is the constant fear that somebody is going to harm you. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Psychologist.

You need to practice accepting what is happening to you. Do not overreact to this or any events of life. Be calm and take diet balanced, exercise, meditate, practice yoga of patanjali aphorisms. And breathing exercises, meditate and try what happens.

Hi I have recently got married. i feel really depressed. Miss my home alot. I also had fights with my husband and the fights in which there was physical violence also. I also fought back and gave him back. He is very impulsive. Now evrything is alright. But still feel very depressed. What can I do.

When you are newly married, you will miss home and your family, initially. It did not help that during that time you have had fights with each other. I don? t know if you are staying with his parents too. That would make it even more difficult. If these fights had not become violent, I would have thought the better for it. The reason is that in the first two years of your marriage, there will be a lot of adjustment problems. This period is very critical and will determine the rest of your life with each other. The patterns of behavior get established and it may be for better or worse. So pay close attention to what is happening and if you need help please go to a marriage counselor and iron out the differences. One of the determinants will be as to who wears the pants in the house i. E. Who is the boss. That is sometimes unfortunately settled even physically. There cannot be two masters in the house. However, I am not suggesting that only one person holds the reigns. I always recommend, instead of equality, that the relationship should be complimentary. The domestic scene is normally the domain of the wife and the husband compliments her in that role. In the fixing, hard manual work, and some shopping etc, it is the area of the husband and the wife plays a complimentary role to support and be there for him. This is the ideal way. These two years please work to refine these roles. If he is impulsive, then have him seek help from a counselor and deal with that. Violence is never recommended. Sigmund freud once said? that violence begets more violence: it is like fighting fire with fire? it never works. I advise you in particular not to resort to violence, because he could do you a lot of damage, if he is stronger. I am hoping that your depression is your feeling of guilt for whatever you have done. If so, it is a sign that you are indeed a good person and do not like this behavior. Just don't do it. Instead have a lot of talks with him and bring better understanding between you two. Your family will always be there and marital relationships are very fragile today. Work towards building this up and you will never feel homesick.

Sounds to me like you are into an anger related depression. If you have not been on medication and you want to remain so, you will have to work very hard to recover from this condition. You must first of all seek the help of a counselor, ideally. If that person thinks that you need to meet with a doctor you will need to do so and cooperate right through. In the meantime please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: Have a good night���s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. I suggest you do the opposite of what this depression makes you feel like doing (actually, not doing): you will need to fight this condition. You must become active; stay upright during the daylight time; meet people; never sleep during the day, wake up by 6 am every day, play some active games, especially contact games, do physical exercises, talk to people and join some social clubs, attend Yoga classes etc. Watch sitcoms on TV or comedies and cheer yourself up. Go for excursions in groups, for outings, camps, conferences, and religious conventions. Get a pet dog and spend time training it, exercising it and relating to it. Expose yourself to some sunlight every day, at least 30 minutes but not in the scotching heat. Whatever happens, please incorporate these three important adaptations in your life: always be responsible, be respectful, and be functional. If you did these three, lots of things will go well in life. Please pray and have faith in God to alleviate your sufferings. Don���t wait for others to help. Use your own motivation, which might be at its lowest, but persevere and win this battle. Above all to be really happy, you need to live in love and for love: find someone to love and to love you back, if you are not already married. Learn all about emotions and how to handle them and that will get you out of the depression rather easily and quickly. A counselor is there only to facilitate you, all the hard word must come from you, and your cooperation with that person is very critical for your success. Be positive everyday and learn to be contended with what you have. Do some left brain exercises: it is the happy brain. Here are a few suggestions: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. Whatever happens please cooperate with the therapy and do not discontinue until the condition is completely resolved.

Modern lifestyle generally motivates you to be conscious of your health and external obstacles to attain a fit body. But like many other problems that are not quite evident, lack of sex in your relationship may look like a trivial matter in the beginning, but can become a bigger emotional and psychological problem for you and your partner. Here are several ways in which lack of sex can lead to trouble in your relationship, and in the long run affect your mental and psychological health.

  1. Resentment as a primary factor: It has been widely accepted that resentment towards your partner is one of the primary reasons for the lack of sex in your relationship. However, you cannot ignore the fact that in most cases, lack of sex, which is not due to resentment, leads to resentment and misunderstandings, making it a serious issue. Follow these best tips to get normal and natural pink lips :- 1. Moisturize your lips you must keep your lips moisturized if you want them to stay healthy and therefore pink. If you are going outside, try applying a bit of petroleum jelly or lip balm and if you are inside, use some Milk fat (ghee). 2. Use Pomegranate Seeds and Milk. Another simple way to lighten dark, dull lips and create a beautiful pink color is using pomegranate seeds. Crush up the seeds and mix it with some milk cream. If you apply this home remedy to your lips regularly, you will start to see them becoming redder and fuller. 3. Apply Cucumber Juice Another great way to reduce any darkness on your lips is to apply a bit of cucumber juice. Simply slice a cucumber, rubbing it against your lips to allow the juices to soak on. If you do this for five minutes each day, you can lighten dark lips to a beautiful pink color. 4. Mix Rose Petals in Milk. Rose petals are another one of the great home remedies for pink lips. Simply soak some rose petals in milk for a little bit of time. Then use the petals to make a paste, adding a few drops of both glycerin and honey. Apply the paste on your lips and wait fifteen minutes before gently rubbing it off using milk. This remedy can produce amazing results. 5. Massage with Lemon Juice Another remedy only requires lemon and some sugar. Cut a thin slice from the lemon, sprinkling a bit of sugar on top and rub your lips with this combination each day. This works well because lemon works to naturally bleach your lips, returning them to their light, pink color while sugar works to exfoliate dead skin cells. 6. Mix Turmeric Powder with Milk mix raw turmeric powder and milk cream to achieve great results. You can also try mixing turmeric powder and gram’s flour to light your lips. Just keep in mind that gram’s flour dries out lips making it a poor option for those whose lips are already dry. 7. Mix Honey, Almond Oil and Sugar Another great remedy is to mix sugar, honey and a little bit of olive or almond oil. Apply this to your lips, massaging it in for ten minutes.

Following are some tips for you :- 1- Allow yourself to sleep earlier :- Try to go to bed earlier, even if you don't think you will sleep and read while in bed, if you really tired you just might fall asleep much sooner than you think. 2- Set a good reason :- Set something to do early in the morning that's important for you, this reason will motivate you to get up early. 3-Make waking up early a reward :- Find something that's pleasurable for you and allow yourself to do as a reward for yourself. 4- Don't make drastic change :- Start slowly by waking 15-30 minutes earlier than usual. Get used to this for a few days, then cut back another 15 minutes do this gradually until you get to your goal. 5- Put your alarm clock far from your bed :- if it is right next to your bed, you will shut it off, but if it is far from your bed you have to get up out of bed to shut it off. And when you are wake up go out to the bedroom as soon as you shut off the alarm. All The Best.

There is no absolute cure for epilepsy if there is no identifiable cause for it. Most of the epilepsy are idiopathic - i. E. Without any known cause. Anti epileptics given in a optimum dose and number can keep check on epilepsy.

you can control fear by changing mind set and doing meditation and yoga. You can try nonmedical methods like AWARE- it is an acronym standing for: A: Accept the anxiety. Don't try to fight it. W: Watch the anxiety. Just watch it and when you notice it, scale your level of fear and start to breathe longer on the out-breath. A: Stands for 'Act normally'. ... R: Repeat the above steps in your mind if necessary. E: Expect the best.
