To lose belly fat you have to be particular about food choices, foods that improve the should be included in your diet such as whole cereals & pulses, more of citrus fruits & amla, do take lukewarm water before & after meals. Start taking amaranth grain as a breakfast cereal to reduce belly fat.

Our Daily energy requirements for proper functioning of our body is 1600-2200 K cal of Energy if we want to remain fit and healthy.But there is a misconception that weight is reduced by dieting.But weight is not reduced by only skipping our meals or prohibition from sugars but until we are not aware what are our body energy requirements ,it will be difficult to loose weight.If we restrict ourself from taking daily diet to 1100-1200 Kcalories ,and increases our workouts,only then we can think about reducing our weight and for that we must obtain proper knowledge of exact energy levels in a particular dish we are eating,only then we can achieve our target of reducing weight by means of simple mathematical calculation. I am fatter day by day. So please give me some solution's.
You can follow some tips in daily routine. 1. After every meal, drink 1 cup boiling water with spoon sip by sip. After half an hour you have taken meal do this daily. 2. Try to avoid eating heavy food after 7 pm. As it takes time to digest heavy food. 3. Drink 1 glass water half an hour before meal. 4. Try to do some exercise. Yoga and meditation are very good in losing weight and maintaining it also. Yoga asanas you can do - Manduk asana - Sarwang asana - Setubal asana - Pawan Mukht asana Pranayama -Anulom Vilom -Deep Breathing - Kapal bhati Other exercises -Crunches -Cycling -Leg rotation

Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1. Arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4. Lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. According to your height and weight your bmi is 35. It's obesity class 2. You strictly reduce weight. You are tiring coz these are symptoms of obesity, tiredness, laziness, excessive hunger & thirst, difficult breathing after walking etc according to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice we are offering ayurveda course for obesity.

Most youngsters today be they students or adults pursuing a career, skip on the most important meal of the day-breakfast. This may be due to many factors ranging from either no time, not hungry, or even to lose weight. As a result they are famished by mid day and tend to gorge on whatever available around.

Now this is one big myth I want to dispel especially for the last category of people trying to shed pounds. In fact skipping breakfast actual leads to add on pounds, since the body over a long over night fast is lying low and unable to perform physiologically. That actually means slowing down the metabolism of one's body, thereby leading to gaining fat mass. Lesser the body is put to work, more the output of energy, causing one to be lethargic, listless and unable to cope with the day. On the contrary a good protein based breakfast helps boost metabolism acting as a kick start for the day. In case of students it increases their attention span in school thereby boosting their scholastic performance. It is not important how much is eaten for the first meal, as is important that the quality or composition of the meal is healthy. That means a good protein base with moderate and complex carbohydrates and low fats.

Therefore, one small message of the day is never to skip breakfast and eat wisely whenever you set out for your day's job.

Don't waste your money. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and diet pills will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. Remember no food works in isolation.

Reduce oily food, junk food etc and increase fibre in your diet, invest atleast 30 mins a day for cardio, all the best.

(1) kayakalp qwath--200g sarvakalp qwath--100g triphalla powder -100g mix well all of them, take 2 tsf and boiled it in 400g of water till it reduces 100g then filter it and take it 1 hour before meal twice a day.(2) medoharvati 2-2 tablets with above qwath (3) laukiamla swaras -50 ml with 50 ml lukewarm water on empty stomach twice a day.(4) anulom vilom kapalbhaati 20 -20 min twice a day alonwith 45 min brisk walk twice a day (5) take small and frequent meal in every 2 hrs (avoid carbohydrate and fatty diets) and increase your water intake least 5-6 litre in a day.

I am 40 year old male. My height is 5'6" and weight is around 100 kgs. I have tried everything to lose weight but failed in all my attempts. I tried the following: - warm water with lemon and honey in the morning - plain warm water in the morning - Aerobics - Gym - Running and jogging - Weight loss powder and tablets/capsules My thyroid function tests are all normal. But LDL and trigs are very high. My diet is also very low - I eat 2 chapatis in the morning 1 in the afternoon and maximum 2 in the evening with lots of veggies. I am a pure vegetarian, away from all vices like alcohol, tobacco or any non veg. I am very depressed. Please help!

Honey with anything hot is bad for health (a very less known fact) Everyone has their own body constitution according to ayurveda. So what might help to lose weight for you may not help you. Also, high LDL and triglycerides point to some underlying medical issue. So kindly consult a diet expert or ayurveda expert for the same.

Hi Lybrate User, You have not reduced weight because you may be focussing at the wrong place. FIRSTLY - Weight is not the problem. The real problem are the habits which contribute to your weight. Just like when you get bad marks in Exams... the problem is not Marks... the real problem is lack of studies. You have to understand the issue at hand. You have to aim for fitness. You have to aim for good health. You have to aim for nutritious diet. When your aim is right... your results will be right. Junk food is an addiction... Get rid of friends or your company which is forcing you to ruin your health. If your home food is too rich... take charge and change food habits of everyone at home. Don't let life slip by like this. Extra weight will cause immense problems in your life just like 1. snoring you have mentioned. It is better if you get your complete body checkup done from a lab including Blood Pressure.. Then consult a dietician + join a fitness program. Change your life today.. Be healthy .. be fit.. live happy.
