I am a college student and in last two years I have gained a lot weight. I want to loose at least 10 kg in one month. How should plan my diet and what to include in my diet as I am vegetarian. Also suggest me some cardio exercises to reduce weight.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

Hello, there are many reasons for delayed menses , but initially we start by giving you Pulsatilla200 ch, 5 drops , once daily in the morning for 7 days. IF menses start in between 7 days then please stop . IF menses do not start even after taking this medicine then we will go for investigations.

Hi, your height can grow till 25 years of age. If you haven't yet reached the age, you may try the following remedies - 1. If you have stomach ache 1. Take bland diet, avoid oily, spicy, fried and junk food, 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Take one tablet of meftal spas ds as and when required after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily 4. Take one tablet of rantac150 mg twice daily before food 5. If you have recurrent stomach ache, do upper gi endoscopy after consulting gastroenterologist.

Hello, treating psoriasis is always a challenge. We can treat psoriasis by integration of ayurveda and allopathic medicines. There are three stages of psoriasis, first stage is skin and after some times disease enter nails and then to joints. We should treat psoriasis in early stage. We will provide you blood purifying herbs for internal use and ayurvedic applications for external use. 3 gms of haldi with milk is good and sun exposure for 20 minutes is advised after application of a herbal oil. Psoriasis is considered a incurable disease in modern science but it can be better managed with ayurveda.

I am 26 years old. I put clip for my teeth for the past 5 years. I removed my clip before six month. They gave me a plastic temporary clip. Now I feel that my teeth are moving still I didnot use my front teeth to eat or bite any thing. What should I do ?

Hello Doctors I have been suffering from ejaculation since the age of 14 Now I am 24 years old I have been doing almost 9 years I do not have nay problem bt they waste my time . It distract from my study which is very imprtnant in my life I am a very bad adductor of ejaculation. I did many things I'll not do next time but every time I failed I do daily when I am crazy I do 4 times once a day. It may not effect your body but it is effecting your life as you are getting distracted basically masturbation is a habit only only you can control it there are no medication available for this develop some more hobbies and interests stay in the company of other people around you do that you don't get much time on your own alone make a firm determination to control it and I am sure you will be able to do it

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain.
