I have a 5.8mm stone in my ureter. Do medicines can cure this or operation is needed?
As you said stone is not in kidney and in the ureter, then it may causes severe pain and retention of urine and can cause kidney damage. If you feel very severe pain then follow the best tips I suggest you: 1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Take medication as soon as possible. I hope you follow them in your life andstay healthy. 7. You can take gokshur tablets of himalaya for 3 months. It definitely get relief from kidney stones. 8. You can also take neeri syrup 1-2 table spoon with a glass of water at least for 1 month.

I had kidney stones I am drinking more water but still I am getting more pain pleas suggest me good medicine?
Tips for removing kidney stones: 1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. 2 tab neeri twice daily with water.

Yes it can be UTI again. Ideally antibiotics should be continued after the culture becomes negative. Some residual infection might have present and is becoming evident. Do urine culture and start her on antibiotics again asap.

My wife suffering urine infection. Left side belly pain, when passing urine it's pain a lot

My wife suffering urine infection. Left side belly pain, when passing urine it's pain a lot
Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate As per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this 1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor (Urologist) and do few investigations to confirm exact pathology(Urine RE/ME/ Culture, Cystoscopy, and ultrasound whole abdomen) 2) Regarding antibiotics take as per culture reports and other medications as per cystoscopy report. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this - 1) Drink plenty of liquids, especially water. 2) Urinate frequently. If you feel the urge to urinate, don't delay using the toilet. 3) Wipe from front to back after a bowel movement. This prevents bacteria in the anal region from spreading to the vagina and urethra. Take showers rather than tub baths. If you're susceptible to infections, showering rather than bathing may help prevent them. 4) Gently wash the skin around the vagina and anus. Do this daily, but don't use harsh soaps or wash too vigorously. The delicate skin around these areas can become irritated. 5) Empty your bladder as soon as possible after intercourse. Drink a full glass of water to help flush bacteria. 6) Avoid using deodorant sprays or feminine products in the genital area. These products can irritate the urethra and bladder. Hope that helps.

I am 31 years old male, staying in indirapuram ghaziabad. I am suffering from left kidney stone [5 mm] and gall bladder stone [single - 1cm]. I have gone through some testing which shows that liver sgpt factor is around 245, so doctor suggest me to take some medicine before surgery for liver problem. I want to ask, is there any way so gall bladder stone can removed without surgery?

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda, Gulbarga
Ya it remove without surgery medicines for 10 days. In my clinic consult me. Gallstones are hard deposits that form inside the gallbladder, a small organ located behind the liver on the right side of your abdomen. Gallstones can range in size from smaller than a grain of sand to larger than a golf ball. According to the american medical association, 80 percent of gallstones are made of hardened cholesterol that develops when there is too much cholesterol in the gallbladder. Other causes include high levels of bilirubin and a concentration of bile in the gallbladder. These r home remedies another good ingredient for keeping gallstone attacks under control is lemon juice. It stops your liver from making cholesterol, which helps in faster recovery. The pectin in lemon juice is believed to help get rid of gallbladder pain attributed to stones. Plus, the vitamin c in lemon juice makes cholesterol more water soluble, which promotes faster elimination of waste products. Drink fresh juice squeezed from four lemons each day on an empty stomach. Follow the drink with a glass of water. Continue this therapy for a week. Alternatively, you can drink four tablespoons of lemon juice mixed in a glass of warm water every day on an empty stomach. Continue this treatment for several weeks until the gallstones are eliminated from the body any querries inform me.
