Hello, If symptoms are sneezing, Running nose, blocked nose 1.Take proper rest/ lot of fluids 2. and Take proper home made diet. 3. Do Steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days, 4. You can take Tablet Levocetrizine 5 mg one tablet after food once a day bedtime for 3 days.(if history of allergy to this medicine is not present) Consult ENT doctor for further management

I am suffering from jaundice. I feel pain on joints of bones. Can you suggest what should be done?

Hi, take complete bed rest. Avoid spicy and oily food for about 1 month. Drink plenty of fluids like water, tender coconut, fresh fruit juices, etc. Take tab. Arogyavardhini 1-1-1 after food and tab. Liv. 52 ds 1-0-1 and kumari asava 2 tsf 3 times a day with equal quantity of water. Take all these medicines for about a month and repeat the blood and urine examinations to assess the bilirubin levels.

I cannot control my sugar level taking Jalra 50/500 and 1 reclimet in the morning and again 1 Reclimet in the evening. My body is disturbed by diabetes a lot where BP gives it a more rise. For BP, I take olneser 40 in the morning I request you to please suggest me how to control my diabetes?

1.Do regular aerobic exercise for 1 hour daily (brisk walking, jogging,running, swimming,cycling etc) 2.Reduce weight if overweight 3Control diet a) Avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food, c) include more fiber like pulse, green leafy vegetable, cucumber, carrot, tomato, j legume. D) Avoid sweetened fruit like banana, mango,litchi, chickoo, sapota, seethaphal jack fruit, grape etc. Can have fruits like guava, pineapple, papaya, orange, mousambi, strawberry, watermelon, pomegranate, jack fruit, sweet potato, a handful of walnut daily (Akhrot) e) Avoid white/polished rice, take unpolished rice like brown rice/wheat/Jowar/Ragi, moong and chana Dal. F) Avoid ghee/ butter./coconut oil/excess salt intake like papad/pickle. G) Avoid red meat. Take fish/chicken. H) Avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks like soft drink 4.Adhere to a strict diabetic diet by consulting Dietitian 5.Monitor your fasting, PP blood sugar 3 monthly and HbA1c six monthly 6.Consult diabetologist for advice and treatment.

Constipation n hair fall these r the symptoms for hypothyroidism. Kindly get thyroid test done to rule out hypothyroidism have to take fibre rich food like vegetables, cereals, fruits n legumes hav to do regular exercises avoid non veg n alcohol have to take water sufficiently syp cemaffin plus 5_10 ml daily night before going to bed for sleep and visit your near by doctor for more evaluation.

Dear Lybrate User, *Drinking herbal teas or sipping lukewarm water with honey is helpful. *To avoid ama formation, have freshly prepared warm meals at regular intervals. *Eat less than the full capacity of the stomach. *Heavy foods like dairy products, fried foods, pickles, cold foods, rice, beans and legumes should be avoided. *Always drink warm water only. *Chew Small pieces of ginger every day.

There is no pill for this but you can follow these tips which can be helpful: •Drink lots of water. At night, as you study, keep water at hand and sip it regularly. •Avoid tea and coffee. Yes caffeine will wake you up and give you a buzz right away. But once the effect wears off; you will feel even more tired and sleepy than you were before. This happens because these drinks dehydrate you. •Have a balanced diet: Eat a heavy and healthy breakfast but have a light dinner. If you feel hungry at night, eat fruits, dry fruits, and salads only. Avoid junk food. •Take a 20-30 minute nap during the day. This shall help you to concentrate better. •As you study, whenever you feel tired or sleepy or even stressed, take a minute to practice yoga- breathing exercises. Concentrating on your breath can help bring more oxygen to the brain which will in turn wake the body up and help clear your mind to study better. All the best!:)

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Penis curved towards right or left or downward is always normal and this can be seen with majority of people. This mostly happen due to masturbation. People who use right hand for masturbation, their penis will be curved to the left and the opposite with left handlers. There are other reasons too. This phenomenon is quite normal and there is nothing to worry. In fact, curved penis will give you more pleasure when you engage in vaginal intercourse than straight penis simply because curvature provides more friction. Enjoy your curve. First thing you should do is to get rid off anxiety and stress as those are main offenders in many. You can try any of the following methods. You can do squeeze and stop technique. You can stimulate your partner to maximum before getting yourself stimulated. You can deviate your thought to something nonsexual when you about to near ejaculation.
