Take homoeopathic medicine tellurium 1m 4pills 4 times 4 days give a gap of 1 week again repeat 4 days. In same way take 6 courses, take lots of water n try keeping that area dry n don't apply any local applications. N if its too itchy add a pinch of asafoetida to boiling water n you can apply candid dusting powder.

Hello lybrate user, - there might be both muscle and lower back bone involvement, need to avoid heavy lifting works for few days - such heavy lifts may lead to muscle contraction - apply ksheerabala taila daily before bath - take yogaraja guggulu 2-0-2 this will avoid present pain. - heavy lifts, bending exercises need to stop for few days bcz it may lead to slip disc kind of issues. Sir, It can be due nerve compression at spinal level or due to disease known as Schiatica. You need to go to Physiotherapist. We will evaluate you and make an exercise protocol for you + Spinal mobilization can be performed too. This will help you for sure. If you have extreme pain you should go to orthopaedician for pain killer prescription and neuroprotector drugs which will give you temporary relief too. I hope I helped you. THANK YOU!

I was diagnised cervical spondilitis and I was under psysiotherapists for 2 weeks. I used to do regular excercises as per the guidance given by the pysio. Everything was okay and now I find that one fine after 6 months of the above problem when I start walking normally walk for some time and I can balance my body while walking. Kindly advice what to do?

Hi there are many causes of balance problems, such as medications, ear infections, a head injury, or anything else that affects the inner ear or brain. Low blood pressure can lead to dizziness when you stand up too quickly. Kindly visit doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

I am 27 years old. From July 2015, I am suffering from body stiffness (neck, middle and lower spine. I got HLA B27 positive. Doctor (orthopaedic) prescribed some medicines like HCQS, SAZO. After using them (one week) I got relief. In addition he suggested to me that I need yo use for few years. Some doctors suggested me to consult rheumatologist. I have mixed feelings for using tablets for few years. Please, suggest some guideline to recover from my problem.

Venkaih, as per ur reports u have ankylosing spondilytis . First , pl aware about that problm , it is seronegative inflammatory arthritis which affects spine , joints muscles and make them stiff and fuse depends on severity . So , drugs contol the disease aggresivenss along with exercises . Newer drugs bilogicals r in market which contolls well but costlier . So pl consult rheumatologist .

Dear Lybrate user, You may take Mag. Phos 12 x thrice a day four tablets with hot water each dose. Try heat. Put a heating pad, a hot water bottle, or a warm compress on your lower belly, or take a warm bath. Heat improves blood flow and may relieve pain. For back pain, lie down and elevate your legs by placing a pillow under your knees. When lying on your side, bring your knees up to your chest. Try relaxation techniques, such as: Meditation. Yoga. Breathing exercises. Progressive muscle relaxation. Exercise regularly. It improves blood flow and reduces pain. Call back after two day if pain is not removed go to doctor for check up.

Hi, Recently expired sprays, gels or ointments, when used unknowingly over the skin, does not give rise to serious problems. But never use the expired medicines internally.

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). (Excessive sitting or standing is to be avoided as well don’t carry much weight on shoulders). Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. Management: -Stretching or activities that place additional strain on the back are discouraged. -Sleeping with a pillow between the knees while lying on one side may increase comfort. -Lying on your back with a pillow under your knees would also relieves pain and no pillow under your head. -Some people seem to benefit from the use of ice or heat. Take care, do not use a heating pad on ‘high’ or place ice directly on the skin. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

PF is there .do hot fermentation and gentle massage and calf stretching exercise . if it work then OK otherwise physiotherapy treatment for 10 days . avoid long standing

Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac 100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg} 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.)--. Fomentation with warm water. Avoid direct flow of AC or Cooler. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for Knee & Legs. Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. Hi, take maximum rest it's mean relax your back, and do hamstring stretching and back strengthing exercise with the help of physiotherapist and learn all exercise, and try to correct posture.

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily ..Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall.. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
