Hello. My daughter is 4 month old she is suffering from loose motion can you please advice your thoughts please

Pediatrician, Pune
Golden yellow coloured loose stools are normal when the baby is on breast feeds, if the baby is gaining weight adequately, passing sufficient amount of urine, don't call it suffering from loose stool, it is ok.

Baby boy 3.5 months old had his 3rd DTaP vaccine yesterday. Previous 2 doses were painless ones. Baby didn't get fever at all. Is it okay? Does it mean that the Baby is not producing enough antibodies to fight? Please clarify my doubt! Thank you.

Painless are called so because the painful (for mothers) side effects like fever irritability swelling are less. They are efficacious but now painful are recommended because they produce better immunity. But nothing to worry.

I'm 23 years old I had a Pilonidal cyst on my back with redness and lot of pain. Not able to sit and walk. Can you please suggest tablets and any remedies?

MBBS
General Physician,
A pilonidal cyst occurs at the bottom (coccyx) and can become infected and filledvwith pus. Pilnofa pk abscesses look like a pimpleatbthe bottom of the tailbone justbabove the crack of the buttock. The initial treatment for an infected pilonidal cyst is usually a procedure that can be perform ed in doctors office. Like antibiotics may require surgical incision.

Avoid giving milk. Its high time you stop milk. This age group solid food is more helpful than just liquid milk.

My daughter 2.5 years old had 137000 platelet count. Is this dangerous? Wt I have to do now?

My daughter 2.5 years old had 137000 platelet count. Is this dangerous? Wt I have to do now?
A normal platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per microliter of blood. Having more than 450,000 platelets is a condition called thrombocytosis; having less than 150,000 is known as thrombocytopenia. YOur count is not seriously low or problematic.

Hi my baby is 9 months old. Due to some reasons I need to stop her breastfeeding. And my podiatrist suggested me similac 2 for her. Is that good to her or should I opt buffalo milk to her. Which is good for her growth and development.

Similac is a fortified product. But if your baby is having other foods along with milk you might happily switch over to the buffalo milk your using at home. You can make the choice. Only do not add water to the buffalo milk you give your baby which people might suggest you to do.

Recently born baby (4 days back) is not feeding properly, Kindly suggest what to do?
Every 2-3 hourly feeds are must for a newborn baby to avoid significant weight loss-->. Meet your pediatrician asap and ofcourse you have to do check weight of your baby every 3 days. Sometimes infection or jaundice are the common cause of lethargy.
