Hi 5 simple tricks to sharpen thinking and memory skills using these memory-enhancing techniques can help improve your ability to learn new information and retain it over time. 1. Repeat one of the golden rules of learning and memory is a repeat, repeat, repeat. The brain also responds to novelty, so repeating something in a different way or at a different time will make the most of the novelty effect and allow you to build stronger memories. Examples of using repetition include: taking notes repeating a name after you hear it for the first time repeating or paraphrasing what someone says to you 2. Organize a day planner or smart phone calendar can help you keep track of appointments and activities and can also serve as a journal in which you write anything that you would like to remember. Writing down and organizing information reinforces learning. Try jotting down conversations, thoughts, experiences. Review current and previous day's entries at breakfast and dinner. If you use a planner and not a smartphone, keep it in the same spot at home and take it with you whenever you leave. 3. Visualize learning faces and names is a particularly hard task for most people. In addition to repeating a person's name, you can also associate the name with an image. Visualization strengthens the association you are making between the face and the name. For example: link the name sandy with the image of a beach, and imagine sandy on the beach. 4. I would suggest you to- apply corn caps locally. Soak your hands or feet. Soaking your hands or feet in warm, soapy water softens corns and calluses. This can make it easier to remove the thickened skin. During or after bathing, rub a corn with a pumice stone to remove a layer of toughened skin. Keep your hands and feet moisturised properly. Wear well fitted and comfortable shoes.

My age is 28 last two year detected with high blood sugar. Which was controlled by exercise. But last two months it was around 220 average. And now again it is normal. Due to exercise. But when every time I check for urine sugar level after food it shows ++.even though if blood sugar level is 150 or below. Is it a severe kidney problem. Mr. lybrate-user, It appears you have developed T2 diabetes, hence, there is glucose noticed in urine. Glucose in urine is seen only when blood glucose levels go beyond 180 mg. Exercise and diet control helps in controlling pre-diabetic condition. However, if diabetes has developed (Fasting 126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above & HbA1c%6.5 and above), then only exercise and diet do not help. Drug treatment is a must along with diet and exercise. As regards high cholesterol, diabetes also causes dyslipidemia. Therefore, you need to start appropriate treatment and bring blood glucose under control with fasting closer to 100 mg & PP 150 to 160 mg. Thanks.

There are many common measures people take to improve their eyesight or to improve their vision, including wearing glasses, lenses, and many more. Here are some effective exercises, which can prove to be highly beneficial to improve your eye health:

1. Stretching
This is the most common and also one of the easiest to do. It requires you to just look up, hold for two seconds, look down, hold for two seconds and then repeat this procedure for each corner of your eye, which means top-left, top-right, bottom-left and bottom-right corners.

2. Flexing
This is simply rotating your eyes in circles. Roll your eyes in the clockwise direction for one minute and then roll your eyes in the anticlockwise direction for one minute.

3. Focus switching
This particular eye exercise is probably the most useful one to improve eye health. In this eye exercise, you have to hold something at a reading distance and cover the other eye. You then have to find something that is at least twenty feet away and trace its shape with one eye closed. With one eye closed, trace more shapes, which are twenty feet away.

4. Palming
This exercise is also very simple to perform. All you have to do is cover your eyes with your palms. Once you have done this, just wait and see that there are no bright flashes of light. If you see that there is a bright flash of light, just wait till they go. This is used primarily to distress the eyes.

5. Deep blinking
This is also an incredibly useful exercise for distance vision. What you have to do is to place some large letters are at a fair distance and then sit on a chair. You have to then close your eyes and tighten all your muscles for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds are over, you have to open your eyes and then you have to see the letters for a second or two. The more number of times you do this, the more clearly you will be able to see the letters after reopening your eyes.

However, these eye exercises are not universally accepted by all doctors.

If your having thyroid your weight loss will be slow. For this you should do daily walking for at least 45 minutes. Have your meals 5-6 times a day which is low in carbohydrate like roti, brown rice, salads. Stop having raw cabbage, soy and soya product and do not have anything to eat for half an hour after taking your thyroid medicine.
