What us the problem. It is not cleared. He is feeling pain but when on rising or at the time of sitting. There are so many causes of pain so it will be better if you may consult privately with all details for homeo treatment for your proper cure. Take care and get well soon.

Hello lybrate-user, please do the following things for 10 - 15 days and let me have your feed back. 1. Massage / rub your two middle fingers tightly (of hands and feet middle toes) of both the hands and both the feet about 1-2 minute each, twice-thrice a day. 2. Before going to bed - soak your legs for about 10 minutes in a bucket half or one-third filled with warm water mixed with some salt or fitkari (alum). After that wipe them with a towel and wrap in a dry towel or bedsheet for 10-15 minutes. 3. Massage your legs with lukewarm mustard or til oil. 4. Stop standing for too long at a time. 5. Stop taking sour and acidic food, cold drinks, cold and stale food. 6. If you have lower back also pain, stop bending forward or straining the back. If you still continue to have the pain after about 10 days of doing all these things,

Joint space is reduced in your knee joint. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. Learn knee exercises. wear knee cap. wear sports shoes. don't sit on floor. Apply volini cream before sleeping. Take calcium and Glucosamine supplement.

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take Calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning.

Your little finger needs to be examined. Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Kindly elaborate on the problem. Do you have it more in mornings or evening? any associated fever /eight loss? any history of trauma/fall? avoid bending forwards and lifting heavy wweight, take hot water fomentation 3-4 times a day and maintain an upright posture while sitting/standing. If this oesnt help we might need to do an xray and mri of your back if required. For details, kindly consult. Hope it helps.

Knee joint is very complex joint made by 3 bones - femur, tibia, fibula and knee cap - patella. Several ligaments, cartilage and menisci are covered all around. So pain in knee joint may be due to several reasons. In your case the pain may be due to some internal injury like cartilage etc for which you are not aware or there may be knee arthritis as it is very common these days or may be due to deficiency of vitamins or uric acid. So in general I would advise you to please go for proper investigation so that the reason can be diagnosed. In the mean time to get relief from pain and stiffness please follow the physio measures: precautions- 1. Avoid prolong standing. Standing on one leg or running for time being if its painful. 2. Take care while bending your knees, it should not directly strain your joint. 3. Avoid heavy weight lifting. 4. Wear shoes with good arch support, do not wear high -healed shoes. 5. Use the correct positions during activities so that you do not strain your muscles. 6. Try to change your sitting position every 15 min so that it should not give strain on your knees. 7. Avoid sitting on floor with both knees bending. 8. Take diet rich in calcium like milk, dairy products, banana etc which will enhance your calcium and gives you strength. Treatment - 1. Use of cold or hot packs which ever suits you - apply ice or hot pack to the painful area and massage for near about 10 minutes. Make a habit for doing atleast twice a day initially. 2. After this using your thumb massage your knee area gently. Exercises include: 1. Quads isometrics. 2. Hamstrings isometrics. 3. Slr - straight leg raising 4. Bridging do not do single leg bridging if pain is very severe. 5. Knee bending lying or supine position. 6. Heel raising 7. Step ups 8. Lunge 9. Squatting you can do the above treatment plan it will give you pain relief. But if you face severe pain while doing the exercises then stop doing and apply some talcum over knee, with thumb massage your knee area slightly and gently. Get well soon. Good luck.

Hello, if you have low back pain and sciatica it is better to consult the physiotherapist so that you shall undergo intermittent pelvic traction where in your half of your body weight will be added in the electronic traction so that that would help you to reduce the pain, along with interferential therapy stimulations which would help you to get relieved from the radiating pain. Apply ice if you cannot go immediately for the physiotherapy treatment. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.

Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. - Limit Bed Rest Studies show that people with short-term low-back pain who rest feel more pain and have a harder time with daily tasks than those who stay active. -Keep Exercising Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful. But remember to move in moderation, Stay away from strenuous activities like gardening and avoid whatever motion caused the pain in the first place. -Maintain Good Posture most people have poor posture when going about their daily activities, putting unnecessary strain on their backs. -Strengthen Your Core Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. If the abdominals are weak, other areas must pick up the slack. When we strengthen the abdominals, it often reduces the strain on the lower back. - Improve Flexibility Too much tension and tightness can cause back pain. By increasing flexibility you need to put an equal load throughout the body from the feet all the way up to the head. -Sleep the Right Way The amount of rest you get is important, and so is the position you get it in. Sleeping in a bad position or on a mattress without support can cause back pain. Back sleepers should put pillows under their knees. Side sleepers should place pillows between their knees to keep their spine in a neutral position. Stomach sleeping causes the neck and head to twist and can put undue stress on the back. -Use Relaxation Techniques Research shows that practices such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga, which help put the mind at rest, can do wonders for the back. -See a Specialist Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain.
