Reason for fatty liver is autoimmune process in the body. For some genetic factors and in response to external stress this process gets triggered in the body. Best in all autoimmune diseases is homeopathy. Consult a homeopath. You can consult me too.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome - 6 Signs You Are Suffering from It!

Irritable Bowel Syndrome - 6 Signs You Are Suffering from It!

A chronic condition, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a disorder of the large intestine that exhibits symptoms such as bloating, abdominal cramps, gas and diarrhea. The symptoms of IBS can be controlled by making lifestyle changes such as incorporating certain modifications to your diet and reducing or managing stress levels. For severe symptoms, you may require medications.

Symptoms
The symptoms of IBS can vary; some of them are:

  1. Bloated stomach
  2. Abdominal cramps
  3. Flatulence
  4. Constipation or diarrhea
  5. Presence of mucus in the stool
  6. Some other severe symptoms of IBS include sudden loss of weight and rectal bleeding.

Causes
The exact cause of IBS is not known, but there are certain factors that may act as triggers. There are muscles lining the walls of the intestine that relax and contract in a proper rhythm, thus allowing the passage of food through the intestine. In case of IBS, these contractions tend to be irregular, resulting in gas, bloating and diarrhea.

Some of the factors that can trigger this condition are:

  1. Hormones: Hormonal changes can play a role in triggering IBS. For a woman, the symptoms can worsen during her menstrual cycles.
  2. Stress: Studies show that symptoms of IBS considerably increase if you are subject to increased stress levels over a prolonged period of time.
  3. Foods: Certain foods such as spices, chocolate, milk and broccoli can act as triggers.
  4. Other Disorders: In some cases, other underlying conditions such as bacterial overgrowth or infectious diarrhea can cause IBS.

Treatment
The initial step to manage the symptoms of this condition is to make prompt changes in your diet, such as eliminating spicy foods and dairy products, at least till the symptoms subside. It is advised to resort to medications only if the dietary changes fail to yield results.

The various treatments are:

  1. Anti-diarrheal Medications: Anti-diarrheal medication such as ‘loperamide’ is used to control and manage diarrhea.
  2. Fiber Supplements: Certain fiber supplements such as ‘methylcellulose’ and ‘psyllium’ can help in managing constipation.
  3. Antibiotics: Antibiotics are prescribed only if the symptoms result from bacterial overgrowth in the intestine.

If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a gastroenterologist.

acidity may be due to excess production of acid by the gastric glands of the stomach. The stomach normally secretes hydrochloric acid which is required for the breakdown and digestion of food we eat. Acidity causes symptoms like dyspepsia, heartburn, gastric inflammation and ulcers in the stomach. Acidity is generally a consequence of several external factors like eating habits, fad diets, stress, smoking and alcohol consumption, lack of physical activity, irregularity in eating pattern. The incidence of acidity is higher in countries where individuals eat more of non-vegetarian, oily and spicy foods. Acidity can be prevented by the following methods: Don't consume spicy food. Eat more fruits and vegetables Eat small, regular meals Consume your last meal at least a few hours before sleeping Chew tulsi leaves, cloves, saunf Reduce stress

Could not sleep nd eat well due to depression. suffering with severe gastric problem.
Without proper sleep and not eating anything it may effect on the gastric problem. Sleep well and diet food. Do not take undiet food. Take rest. Do not think too much about sleep. Normal sleep is the good for health. Do not take any medicine for sleep. It may be addiction. Develop busy schedule. Do hard work day time. Before going to bed do some work. Read books or newspapers or some personal work in home. After tired then go to bed. Do not go to bed with sleeping command. Sleep will not coming on your request. It may come automatically. Do any exercises walking before going go to bed. Fresh before bed. Read pleasantly. Then automatically sleep comes. When sleep problem solved then your gastric pain is also solved. Ok follow my suggestions. Best of luck. Have a good day.

You are continuing this problem since last 5 yrs. It is very necessary to get yourself investigated and diagnosed properly. Gas formation can be due to many reasons. You should get your gastroendocopy done to rule out peptic ulcer and many other conditions. Ultrasound examination also desired to rule out gall bladder stones etc. These investigations are easily available at any hospital. Meanwhile you take nexpro l I tab daily empty stomach.

I have migraine what should do for its permanent solution pls tell me during headache I feel vomiting and acidity too.

I have migraine what should do for its permanent solution pls tell me during headache I feel vomiting and acidity too.
The most important factor for migraine is triggering factor. It might be anything from acidity, smell of masala, too hot or too cold. Try to avoid it. Change your lifestyle. Wake up early in the morning. Walk on grass bare foot in early morning. Yoga. Don't remain empty stomach for long period. Migraine is precipitated by menstruation. Avoid all these. There is no permanent cure of migraine. Whenever you have attack of migraine just go to cool calm dark place. Take a nap of half an hour. Use tab Headset half tab on acute attack. Use tab pan-d to prevent vomiting and acidity.

MBBS
General Surgeon, Hubli-Dharwad
Anal pain also known as proctalgia common causes:- 1.anal fissure-An anal fissure is a small tear in the skin of the anus that can be caused by passing a large or hard poo. Symptoms of an anal fissure can include: a severe, sharp pain when doing a poo a burning or gnawing pain that lasts several hours after doing a poo rectal bleeding – you may notice a small amount of blood on the toilet paper after you wipe Anal fissures can be very painful, but many heal on their own in a few weeks. Increasing the amount of fibre in your diet, drinking plenty of fluids and taking laxatives and over-the-counter painkillers can help. If the pain persists, you may need special ointment that relaxes the ring of muscle around your anus. Occasionally, surgery may be needed to help the fissure heal. 2.Haemorrhoids (piles) Haemorrhoids (piles) are swellings containing enlarged blood vessels that are found inside or around the bottom. They're often thought to be caused by straining on the toilet as a result of prolonged constipation. In many cases, haemorrhoids don't cause symptoms. When symptoms do occur, they may include: bleeding after doing a poo an itchy bottom feeling like there's a lump in or around your anus soreness and redness around your anus anal pain, if the blood supply to the haemorrhoid becomes blocked or interrupted – for example, by a blood clot The symptoms often pass after a few days. Increasing the amount of fibre in your diet, drinking plenty of fluids and taking laxatives and over-the-counter painkillers can help. If the blood supply to the haemorrhoid has been blocked by a clot, a simple procedure can be carried out to remove the clot under local anaesthetic (where the area is numbed). 3.Anal fistulas and abscesses An anal fistula is a small tunnel that develops between the end of the bowel and the skin near the anus. It's usually caused by an infection near the anus resulting in a collection of pus (an abscess). Symptoms of an anal fistula or abscess can include: a constant, throbbing pain that may be worse when you sit down skin irritation around the anus passing pus or blood when you poo swelling and redness around your anus a high temperature (fever) Your GP may prescribe antibiotics if an abscess is picked up early on. If it persists, it may need to be drained in hospital, possibly under general anaesthetic (while you're asleep). If a fistula develops, surgery will usually be needed because they rarely heal by themselves Less common causes of anal pain When to get medical advice Many common causes of anal pain will improve with simple self-care treatments, so you don't always need to see your GP. But it's a good idea to see your GP if: your pain is severe your pain doesn't improve after a few days you also experience rectal bleeding Don't feel embarrassed to see your GP – anal pain is a common problem that they're used to seeing. Your GP can try to work out what the problem is and give you treatment advice. They'll probably ask to see your bottom and may carry out a rectal examination (where they gently insert a gloved finger into your bottom) to check for any abnormalities. If the cause is not immediately obvious, they may refer you to a specialist for advice and further tests.

Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Consult gynaecologist.
