Dear, watching porn movies and feeling sexually aroused is not a crime or not unhealthy. If it is in excess, if such a behavior interferes with your daily life, career and family life, then you must address it as addiction. You must be able to distinguish between mental disease and mental disorder. Your problem is a mental disorder. Not a mental disease. These mental disorders are usually treated with a combination of medicines and other means like awareness, meditation, psychotherapy techniques, life style changes etc. I think two or three counseling sessions and psycho therapy techniques should solve your problem. When people are very scared they tend to increase urination and may increase bowel movement. You should meet with a counselor and deal with your fear. The stress that you feel is not dependent on the stressor: It is entirely dependent on your perception of stress. Life is difficult no doubt, as a general rule, but what we do adds to the stress in our response. We add to the stress of life instead of reducing it or learning to deal with it. Many of us follow a policy of avoidance. We cannot do that all of our lives. So the first thing to do is to change your perception. For example, look at it as a challenge that you would like to meet with a positive outlook. See everything as a gift from God to perform as though you are doing it for Him. God never gives us work to do beyond our capacity. Build a good constitution mentally, emotionally and physically to combat stress. Eat healthily, sleep well, and exercise regularly. Talk about your emotions regularly to a good friend or counselor every day. Learn stress management techniques. Do Yoga and meditation. Pray every day to God to give you the strength, and offer your work as a prayer to Him – you will give your best and you will feel so satisfied when you do it well.

Anxiety and stomach flatulence ,hard breathing most of the times,alcohol and smoking in evenings .

It looks like you might be suffering from anxiety disorder that would explain the stomach problems ( ibs) and difficulty in breathing. May be that is why you need alcohol to calm your self. However you need to describe your shortness of breath in detail, as it could suggest some serious heart condition because of your drinking habit.

I am 21 years old. I am forgetting some simple things. What should I do to remember all things?

You may be under some stress, and I do not know if you are aware of it. Find out what this disturbance is all about and as you address it, memory and concentration will happily return to favor you. Do meet with a counselor, if your stress is too much. In the meantime please follow the suggested guidelines: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night?s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that you and the family go for counseling too.

I have my 12th board exams after a month. And I cant concentrate on my studies. please help mef.

You are panicking about the exams. This is a last minute effort and so it is going to cause a lot of stress. You must take a risk too and leave out unimportant portions and study the most important ones the most. If you can make notes for certain topics then that will be easier to study and remember. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. There is nothing wrong in doing oral sex, for that matter sex and then realizing that the person is not worth love or living. Do not people get divorced after marriage. Let her decide on her future, ask her to get a psychiatric consultation if she has emotional, thought or behavioral problems.

I get angry easily. I was not like that. I was a cool boy. For few years if something happen I get angry and behave like a beast. I shout loudly and I feel like I would hit that person. You have to control anger by observing silent nature, meditation, chanting liking mantra for limited time every day. Avoid spicy, fried, junk food items, take sufficient rest-sleep, do regular light exercises. Have a check up for any bp problem etc. If you are taking any chemical psycho related drug, then consult your doctor.

Its for my mother, age 48. Having a serious hair problem. My mom used hair colour (like Garnier, Super vasmal).& it's very harmful for hair. Now my mom's hair is whiten almost 60%.& hair fall in regular basis. Local doctor advised not to take any more color or hena. Bt my mom is loosening self-confidence & hv anxiety with it. As my mother also hv dust allergy. Her skin becomes darken. After using colour Is there any solution to get back black hair and stop hair falling? I have been smoking since past 20 years. I want to quit it. But I can't. I don't have enough will. Please help me.

Only by using strong will power and avoiding all situations where you feel like smoking, chewing tobacco or drinking or using drugs/ weed, avoiding friends who smoke and diverting mind by reading or chewing a gum, like NICORETTE and taking a walk when you crave for a smoke can all help. You can chew Nicorette gum which is nicotine replacement. There are medicines available. Which can be prescribed if asked personally Cigarette smoking is a leading preventable cause of mortality. It kills more than 60 lakh people worldwide every year. More than 50% of regular smokers would invariably die from tobacco-related illnesses which includes heart attack, cancer or asthmatic lung diseases. Best age to stop smoking is before 40 31st May is “World No Tobacco Day” Quitting smoking before the age of 40 is associated with larger decline in premature death than stopping it at a later date. Best age therefore to stop smoking is before 40. However, stopping smoking even after the age of 50 is still associated with lower risk of death as compared to those who continue to smoke. Even in smokers aged 80 years or more, quitting smoking appears to reduce some mortality.

You are going through anxiety and panic attacks. If it's not taken a deep root within your system then you can benefit from counselling. It will teach you ways to respond in which you remain in control of yourself and different and safer ways to show your displeasure to others. But if the problem is deep seated and chronic, you can need psychiatric treatment additionally. But you must start exercises and yoga daily basis, with pranayam and meditation.

I feel your anger is due to situations of your life. Of-course you need to get your check up done as Dr. Vijaynath suggested. Also be aware of your anger and ask yourself what bothers u? seems you have insecurities and fear, may be due to love/future/marriage etc. Self-awareness is 80% solution.

Hello doctor. I have been married for last 1 and half year. I want to highlight three issues about my wife: 1. Always thinking about the past (we had gone through a bad patch after marriage) and start over reacting. Sometimes it looks like that I am facing two different personalities - one very caring and sweet and other one (after getting angry) is totally opposite, very rude, abusive and dangerous face. It will be wise for you both to get your personalities assessed. Marriage is an institution, where both the partners need to adjust and change to accommodate others pluses and minuses. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.
