Dear . As per most guidelines a fasting blood sugar of less than 140mg/dl is desired. However I would not panic on one reading above 140. What is your latest hba1c levels? is the ankle pain less than 4 weeks? in that case the ankle pain can be due to any of the three conditions- trauma -infectious arthritis or gout.

Tk heat fermentation twice a day and rest or stretching exercise of spine sit straight avoid long sitting, if it work then ok otherwise physiotherapy treatment must.

Hello, Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? Any underlying medical condition? Medication: Meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. And wrap crepe bandage over it. Get back to me thereafter.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of muscular pain, so it can be due to low potassium, calcium levels and lack of vitamin d etc besides being present in many systemic pathologies. My advise to you will be to get e few blood tests done empty stomach and send reports across to me: cbc, esr, crp, serum electrolytes, serum calcium, serum phosphorus and serum alkaline phosphatase, serum vitamin d levels and thyroid profile. Once you get these investigations done, you can send the reports across to me. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Hi doctor, am 26 years old female, am having too much joint pain including my shoulders, knee and low back. My serum zinc level is low and other blood tests as ana, ra factor, vitamin d, vitamin b12 all are normal. Can you please give me a favourable answer for this as I am affecting too much?

Stiffness in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Hello your w8 might be more please do not stand much more tym and aply ice pack over knee start doing knee strenghtning exercises you can got from google and do not sit wit cross leg sitting also and after pain relive start walking you can walk in swimming pool as wel.

Thank You for writing in regards to your concern. It's less commonly known to have low back pain post endoscopy. Kindly get an assessment done by a Physiotherapist to assess and inform you if the low back pain is of musculoskeletal origin or not or get an opinion from either Gastro-enterology / Nephrology consultant. Hi Thanks for your query and Welcome to Lybrate. Pain in the shoulder region most commonly can be due to localized reasons in the shoulder or sometimes it is referred from the Neck region. There are multiple reasons for pain due to a localized shoulder pathology, it can occur after an injury, inflammatory or infective etc. If there is localized pain in shoulder region with no gross instability, no H/O any injury and no other s/s of infection like swelling, skin redness, local warmth etc., then it is advisable to initiate Ice packs if the pain is acute in nature, physical therapy, gentle anti-inflammatory medication as per body?s suitability, adequate calcium and Vitamin D Supplementation and wait for response in next 5-7 days. If your pain is not subsiding, then appropriate investigations like X Rays/MRI Scans and blood tests may be required for further evaluation. The orthopedic doctor has advised rematrix sachet daily for three months for building cartilage which has collagen peptide 10 mg which other alternative and cost effective option or alterntive is available .I found other brands but they have colalgen peptide 1 and and rematrix sachet has just collagen peptide written and is the powder form with water of collagen petide more effective than tablet form please advise

Dear, one thing you keep in mind that once cartilage degenerates it will not generate once again. But as all prescribed drug can maintain it. But if you want to stop degeneration ask the cause for degeneration to your doctor. In most of the cases, people have weak lower limb musculature and neglect demineralization leads to erosion. So better do not fall in confusion to know about these drug but go for exercises that will prevent further erosion.

I understand your pain. Take some alum and mix well in hot water. Immerse your foot and take hot fermentation for 15 min thrice a day. When your feet is in water do some exercises like making circle/alphabet, Fisting all toes, then individual toe movements. This will give you relief from your pain and discomfort. You can also take laser and ift at your nearby physiotherapy center. For any doubt please contact. Make a habit not to stand for long time in one position or do not stand bare foot. Take a break for 4-5 min and relax your ankle/ foot muscles. Make a habit of doing calf stretching. This will maintain your blood flow in legs and will decrease the level of pain and gives you recovery very soon. Try to avoid wearing heels. Direct pressure on foot should be avoided. Best regards.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

I have backache from last 24 days. I have been taking dolo from last 21 days but no relief. What should I do?
This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back.
