Controlling your diet and exercising regularly is the key to losing weight. Taking the following could also help in accelerating the weight loss process: taking pranacharya medohar rasayan (1-1) twice a day; taking medohar guggul (2-2) twice a day; pranacharya slim capsule (1-1) twice a day. 2. It is advisable to avoid junk, fried, fermented or oily food. You should also avoid the intake of alcohol, sugar, dairy products. 3. You should increase the intake of oats and cereals. You should incorporate a walk of at least 45 minutes in your daily regime and prayanama every morning. It is advised not to sleep immediately after taking a meal.

I believe your words that nothing was found in scan. However better if you could get RA, ESR, uric acid blood test reports and send to me. It could be spondylosis, arthritis, Arthralgia of vertebral joints etc. Ayurveda explains it as 'Apaan Vayu' vitiation. However for the time being pl give him dashmool herb decoction, Panchakol herb decoction separately 20 ml each (warm) twice a day. Hot water bath after gentle massage by Mahavishgarbh oil and Mahavishgarbh oil mixed and heated a bit before applying. No bath for two hrs pl. Report after two weeks. For any clarification pl write back by consulting me.

Hello Doctor, I am working a Graphics Designer cum Event Manager at a Event Management Company. From 2 years I have put on a lot of weight which I had lost by dieting, walking and massages. The Main reason I am not able to reduce weight is time constraints and irregular food habits. I tried to put a strict diet plan and tried to eat on time. But due to work pressure could'nt so. I am not able to do walking or exercise. Can I reduce weight without disturbing my office life as it is the main source of income for my House. I am the sole breadwinner for my family of 4. Eat foods high in fiber like watermelon cucumber green leafy veggies .Cut on fats,sugars,soda,Junk foods & soft drinks. Drink adequate amount of water. Whenever hungry grab on fruits or fiber biscuits keep them always in your bag. And yes exercise is a must but though there is a time constraint for most of them these days try following some of these. 1. Park your vehicle 5-10 min away from your premise and then walk. 2.Use stairs instead of using elevator always 3. Most of the times when on the phone walk around and talk instead siting at a place with best of health and happiness

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Weight gain is all about taking more calories than you burn. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps weight gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 main and mid meals a day. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, ghee, cream in your meals. Just eating sugary, sweet foods is not good. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite.  Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.

Take 1 tablespoon of milk powder and mix it with one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of lemon juice and half tablespoon of almond oil. Mix all the items well, make it a paste and apply it on your face and neck daily and wash after an hour. It will give you a perfect glowing skin. Turmeric is good ingredient for skin. Make a facepack with mixture of turmeric and milk. Apply this and wash off after an hour with cold water for glowing skin. Lemon juice and glycerin work nicely for dry skin whereas fuller’s earth and turmeric are used for oily skin. Take one tomato, grate it well and mix it with 3-4 drops of lime juice. Apply it on your face wait for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat it daily and feel the change on your face. Soak 4-5 almonds in milk overnight. In the morning make a paste of them and apply it on your face and rinse it off after an hour or two. You will definitely feel the glow on your face in less then 15 days. (you can add honey, oats and yogurt for quicker results) Prepare a fine paste of ripe papaya, oatmeal powder, milk cream and honey. Cover your face with this paste for 15 minutes. Wash it off with water. Apply buttermilk to skin, keep for 10 minutes and then wash off thoroughly for softening, cleansing and radiating effect.

If it makes you tired, you should reduce it. Instead of measuring in time, you may measure in distance. Walking 8 kms is ideal. You can also go for sauna bath to loose fat. If you walk that much, take energy drink like tang or lemon water along. It will give you energy.

Hello, Body pain may be due to 1. fever 2. abrupt start or stop of exercise 3. Any other medical disease like Anaemia/ Hypoproteinemia/ Thyroid problem 4. Vit D deficiency 5. Multimineral and vitamin Deficiency 6.Stress/ anxiety 7. Over exertion (physical and mental) kindly follow advises given below: 1. Take adequate rest 2. Proper diet 3. you should tell us the reason for the fear. unless we know the root cause we will not be able to offer solution/guidance. as far sleeping tablets concerned please believe that is not the solution for your problem due to dependency and need to increase the dosage as days advance and you will not have quality sleep which is required. and sleeping pills will not be sold by the chemist without proper prescription on doctors letter head due to the government rule. come back with your inner fears for better guidance. good luck

Hair fall is due to so many reasons, may be your stomach problem or some other harmonal disbalance or scalp infection. Suggested take more water intake, avoid spicy foods, use amla in any form like amla juice amalaki rasayan or powder, use dhatri laoh tab these are ayurvedic peroration, avoid chemical shampoo use herbal shampoo. Find good result in hair loss.

Take the following treatment - 1. Take 4 tablespoon of aloevera juice with one tablespoon of honey after dinner. 2. Take 4 tablespoon amla juice + 2 tablespoon honey on an empty stomach in the morning. 3. Take chandraprabhavati 2 tablets twice a day. 4. Avoid junk, bakery & spicy food. 5. Maida is very harmful for body, so avoid it. 6. Have all your meals on time. 7. Drink lots of water 8. Fruits rich in vitamin c and green leafy vegetables help in acne.

Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. Plenty of fluids orally. I suggest brisk walking for 40 mins, 5 days a week. Remain stress free as much as possible. Take your medicines regularly. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. For increasing weight u first have to work on ur digestive system...If u have strong digestive system u will able to increase ur weight easily... Take baidyanath chitrakadi vati 2 tab twice daily for a week.....+ 1tsf triphala churna daily..., take small meals 4-5 times a day..eat healthy n light food ...drink plenty of water...walk 1km daily in evening...follow up after a week.

- do not scratch or squeeze the lesions - do not apply creams or oils on face - do not apply hair oils or wash oil within 1 hour of application - take plenty of fluids - wash your face 2-3 times daily especially when it's oily - certain foods can increase acne such as chocolates, oily food etc, avoid these if they increase acne - take plenty of fluids and fruits - dandruff can also increase acne, so use anti-dandruff shampoo if you have acne. - also, for the marks, try to avoid sunexposure as far as possible (use broadspectrum gel based sunscreen, cover the face while outside during sunlight hours)

I think you have developed gingivitis(bleeding gums) which causes bleeding. Get scaling (cleaning)done which might reduce your bleeding to some extent and this will also help you in reducing bad breath. Do flossing and use mouthwash.

Dear Lybrate User, *The best way to get a flat stomach is to try high intensity cardio. This is because it burns a larger number of calories than low intensity cardio. Playing sports such as football, basketball, cricket, tennis and other sports is also helpful in promoting weight loss. *You should perform cardio exercises each day for 60 minutes.
