Its surprising that at this age you had undergo removal of teeth. Ideally what we do with tooth having cavity is we restore the tooth with dental cement if the cavity is nit deep. If the cavity is too deep then also we can save the tooth by root canal treatment followed by crown (cap) when tooth is having deep cavity and have lost more than 80-90 % tooth structure along with poor gingival support then only we remove the teeth or else we can save it. And having cavity is not a scary thing it happens only due to improper brushing technique, poor oral hygine. If you undergo scaling (every 6 months) and maintain a good oral hygine then risk of developing cavities will be much more reduced.

Tooth decay prevention and remedies ?
Kindly brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique. Visit your dentist once in 6 months for routine dental checkup. Avoid having sticky food or sweets as this does not get removed easily from the tooth and causes caries.

Hello Don't eat from filled teeth. This will take time. And if your filling is dried and you are allowed to eat from that side then, I suggest you not to eat hard food. And if it's not the reason then visit a dentist and ask for X-ray of teeth. Find any cavity left or any breakage in teeth.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical, gum strengthening. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

•Eat a healthy, balanced diet and avoid eating strongly flavoured or spicy food. •Cut down on sugary food and drink, as it can increase the amount of bacteria in your mouth. •Reduce your alcohol consumption. •Stop smoking. •Cut down on coffee. •Drink plenty of water to help prevent your mouth becoming dry. •Chew sugar-free gum after eating, to stimulate the flow of saliva. This will help clean away any remaining food particles. •Don't use toothpaste to clean your dentures, as it can scratch the surface and cause stains. •Clean your dentures thoroughly using soap and lukewarm water, denture cream or a denture-cleaning tablet. •Use a separate toothbrush to clean your dentures. •Make sure you visit your dentist for regular check-ups. Having regular dental check-ups will ensure that any plaque is removed from your teeth, particularly in areas that are difficult to reach. •Your dentist can recommend the best way to clean your teeth and gums, and point out areas you might be missing. They can also identify any signs of gum disease and ensure early treatment. •Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. •If your bad breath is caused by a gastrointestinal problem, such as an H. Pylori infection or gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), you may be referred to a gastroenterologist. •Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. •You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person.

How to treat mouth ulcers? And what is the reason for mouth ulcers?
Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. You may need c. Becosules 5 cap, for five days in the morning after meals & hexigel ointment on the area of ulcer until then. The exact cause of most mouth ulcers is unknown. Stress or tissue injury is thought to be the cause of simple mouth ulcers. Certain foods, including citrus or acidic fruits and vegetables (such as lemons, oranges, pineapples, apples, figs, tomatoes and strawberries), can trigger a mouth ulcer or make the problem worse. Sometimes a sharp tooth surface or dental appliance, such as braces or ill-fitting dentures, might also trigger mouth ulcers. Some cases of complex mouth ulcers are caused by an underlying health condition, such as an impaired immune system; nutritional problems, such as vitamin b-12, zinc, folic acid, or iron deficiency and gastrointestinal tract disease, such as coeliac disease and crohn's disease. When you first quit smoking, you may develop more mouth ulcers than normal, but this is temporary.

Consult a dentist, if there is dental decay then get the filling done. You may need an xray and if the decay is deep involving the pulp of the tooth then rct may be required.

We often tend to neglect the black spot on tooth, which eventually hollows out the entire tooth. At this stage the tooth cavity is limited to the outermost layer that's enamel. Over a period of time, it enters dentin which is the second layer of tooth. At this stage, slight sensitivity to cold/hot may be experienced. After eroding the dentin, it enters the third layer, which is the pulp, and this is the time you experience shooting pain, can't sleep in the night. This is the time you visit dentist and undergo a root canal treatment and then a crown, 2-4 appointments minimum and around 5000 rs expenditure. Now you realise that a visit to a dentist few months back would have been better. The dentist would have simply removed a decay and cover your tooth cavity with a dental cement. Just 600-800 bucks. So my dear patients, don't wait for the dental pain and then seek treatment. Better, keep a watch on your teeth, visit dentist every 6 months for routine check up, your will save lot of time, energy and money!

You have teeth sensitivity problem. . teeth sensitivity is a result of loss of outer most layer(enamel) of teeth..that can be due to : - Tooth grinding - Acidic beverages (such as soda) that cause enamel erosion and dentin exposure. - Brushing with a very abrasive toothpaste, brushing incorrectly and/or brushing more than three times a day could result in a loss of enamel. - A chipped or fractured tooth may expose the dentin.  here are few steps to avoid sensitivity of teeth: - Practice good oral hygiene. - Use a sensitivity toothpaste like Sensodyne. - Don't brush too hard. - Use a softer toothbrush. - Take care while consuming acidic foods. - Use fluoridated dental products. - Avoid grinding your teeth. - See your dentist regularly for professional tooth cleaning, dental care recommendations and advice on treating your sensitive teeth.
