There is a strong pain in the knee when she gets up from the ground as well as when going upstairs.
Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

A checkup of vit d and calcium levels. Heat fermentation twice a day. Avoid long standing. Do quadriceps exercise if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment best option for you.

Due to muscle strain it s ok you doing running but a gud running you should to a gud strength in your legs so do strength exercise then you can run with out pain. At this movement tk muscle relaxant medicine and heat fermentation and immediate relief tk tens therapy best option for you.

Not all patients of backache need surgery. Most of them can be treated without surgery with medicine & physiotherapy. Never go in for spine surgery in haste. Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine carbo veg 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. Drink lot of water. Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. Tea/coffee should not be taken in excess. Avoid fried and spicy food.

Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag).Twice a week...Drink plenty of fluids daily...do exercise daily...eat healthy protein and calcium rich food

Try placing a pillow below her knees for reliving the stress over the back while lying down. It would be advisable to avoid any bending at the moment and try squatting instead and avoid sitting on floor or any low surface. Hot fomentation will also provide some pain relief. Also visit any physiotherapist for proper evaluation as x-ray only provides information about the bones but not the other structures around the back.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. - Limit Bed Rest Studies show that people with short-term low-back pain who rest feel more pain and have a harder time with daily tasks than those who stay active. -Keep Exercising Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful. But remember to move in moderation, Stay away from strenuous activities like gardening and avoid whatever motion caused the pain in the first place. -Maintain Good Posture Most people have poor posture when going about their daily activities, putting unnecessary strain on their backs. -Strengthen Your Core Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. If the abdominals are weak, other areas must pick up the slack. When we strengthen the abdominals, it often reduces the strain on the lower back. - Improve Flexibility Too much tension and tightness can cause back pain. By increasing flexibility you need to put an equal load throughout the body from the feet all the way up to the head. -Sleep the Right Way The amount of rest you get is important, and so is the position you get it in. Sleeping in a bad position or on a mattress without support can cause back pain. Back sleepers should put pillows under their knees. Side sleepers should place pillows between their knees to keep their spine in a neutral position. Stomach sleeping causes the neck and head to twist and can put undue stress on the back. -Use Relaxation Techniques Research shows that practices such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga, which help put the mind at rest, can do wonders for the back. -See a Specialist Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain. Hello Lybrate user according to Ayurveda Vata vikriti is the main factor for pain. Treatment- 1-apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation. 2-take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. 3-Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Diet- Avoid fermented food. Junk food. Potato rice. Sleep well.

Hello, Is there any history of injury or hurt to the area? Any underlying medical condition? Medication: Meantime, take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Avoid lifting any weight for few days. Get back to me thereafter.

Massage with your thumbs from the midpoints of your shoulder blade towards back of your head upto the lower edge of the ear on your either side. Use oil or waer. Move only upwards only. Afterwards do arm rotation forward and backward slowly acupressure and acupuncture are powerful therapies which gives relief from especially joint pains, back pains and lot of other ailments. I am suggesting you a method by which you can get instant relief and continue to do it. However you consult me privately to get permanent solution. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Also take calcium tablets shelcal 500mg for a limited period 2 months consult after 10 days.

I am 27 year old Indian national currently living in Muscat, Oman. I am working here since past 2 years and since November 2013 I started experiencing a little pain in joints of like toes, feet and above the ankles of my legs which gradually increased and by the end of December I got the same pain in my hands as well; like fingers, knuckles, wrists elbows etc. Initially I dint cared about it but now its taking its toll on my work. In Nov 2013 I visited Doc's here in Muscat, they gave some calcium and multi vitamins but those didn't help. Then I met an orthopedic here in Muscat he gave some steroids and pain killers but that too dint help and since May 2014 the pain had increased a lot. In October 2014, I decided to visit India in regards with my health condition. There was a scare of Arthritis and I did few blood and urine tests prescribed by the Doctor however the reports were normal and during my stay in India I started experiencing back pain and lower back pain. Now I got severe lower back pain extending up till my buttocks, neck pain and pain in shoulders. Basically I mean to say is I have pain all over my body. My Uric Acid level is normal My ESR is normal I took a Xray for my pelvic area. That too was normal. Please help. Please suggest.
