I have dryness in my eyes and after studying for two-three hours things are blurred. I have consulted a doctor. And he told me that I have cylindrical in one eye he recommended me we exercise? So I want to ask does it will work or I should get a glasses and does really exercise helps in cylindrical vision problems?

Hello, you should use glasses according to your sight number, otherwise this number may increase. Alongwith it also do these exercises for eyes:- warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids.

yes you can Lasik is a simple laser procedure which changes the shape of the cornea so that the light rays fall on the retina properly. It is a painless procedure. It is a day care procedure does not require any injections, does not require admission, you can simply resume your duties in 2 days. Cost varies from centre to centre. Side effects are usually limited to dryness of eyes for few months. We can do lasik anytime after age of 18 years. You need to undergo proper prelasik checkup to decide whether lasik is safe for you or not

This is good, you are drinking ample water this will keep your body hydrated, but dry throat and dry skin is body constitution, for dry eyes you should use schwabe's cmd2 eye drop.

You need to consult a doctor properly. But till the time you do not do that: you might be having some allergy in the eyes or are working too much on the computers or straining your eyes. As for nerve pain, you can try multivitamin once daily for 15 days.

Start puting 2 drops warm cow ghee in each nostril before sleeping at night continuoysly fr 3 months. Take night herbal medicine: 250 grams methi dana 100 grams ajwain 50 grams kali jeeri (not kala jeera) now roast them together (bhoon le) and make a powder of it, and consume 8 grams with warm water regularly at night before sleeping for 4 months regularly, you will be amazed with the result.

Contact lens is a temporary substitute of lens, you are to wear & remove every day; only advantage is that no body can know that your eyes are weak. Lasik surgery is a permanent solution.

Watering of eyes while riding a bike is normal, try wrap arround glasses while riding a bike to prevent direct air and dust hitting your eyes. Since you are myopic, you may search for prescription biker glasses.

Hello, get your eyes tested from an opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. Dha is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Prolonged working on laptop/tv/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop.

feeling of jerk should not cause you to loose your sleep. that jerk will be due to muscle relaxation while you are falling asleep. donot think about the extra terrestrial or paranormal activity etc., these things are natural bodily reactions and relax your mind and fall asleep. all the best

Hello 1. As your height is now stable likewise your power is now stable and it will not increase now. 2. There is no natural way to get rid of these glasses 3. Only option is lasik surgery.

May be the screen resolution and lights are giving your eyes discomfort. In general, working long hours on screen/omputer can lead to a condition called computer vision syndrome. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. Also try to blink your eyes properly while work. Use good tear substitutes like genteal 4 times a day. And anti glare screen for your system. Use eyedrops genteal 3 times a nd zoneph 4 times a day. Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Papayas, mangoes yellow fruits nuts butter. Strain less your eyes.

The damage due to laser lights is usually non progressive and stable. It just needs to be checked to rule out any other cause of decrease in vision.
