Listed below are a few ways you can gain weight safely, tailored for people who are underweight: Eat regularly. Eating five or six meals smaller meals per day when you are underweight can be more manageable compared with the standard three. This is because you typically feel full faster than a person at a healthy weight. Don’t drink before meals. Fluids before meals can affect your appetite. Try limiting drinking until 30 minutes after you’ve eaten. Add nutritious drinks to your diet. Avoid soft drinks and caffeine-heavy coffee that adds little nutritional value to your diet. Try milk, fruit juices, healthy shakes and fruit smoothies instead. The will help increase the energy in your diet and also add important nutrients for your health too. Eat nutritious foods. When underweight, sticking to a healthy diet can help you safely gain weight. Choose fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grain cereals, bread and pastas, lean meats and dairy products. Snack healthy. Snacking on avocados, nuts, cheese, peanut butter or dried fruits between mealtimes can be a good way to gain weight. Treat yourself. Even when underweight it’s fine to have an unhealthy treat every now and then. But be mindful of excess fat and sugar - try to keep most treats nutritious and healthy. Work out. Strength training (building muscle) can help you gain weight. Exercise may also help you get your appetite back.

Hi gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

Hello, I am giving you Idea about Healthy diet 1.Consume a Variety of Foods 2.Keep an Eye on Portions 3.Eat Plenty of Fruits and vegetables Aim for 2½ cups o f vegetables and 2 cups of fruit a day 4.Get More Whole Grains At least half your grains should be whole grains, such as whole wheat, barley and oats 5.Limit Refined Grains, Added Sugar The refined carbohydrates in white bread, regular pasta and most snack foods 6.Cut Down on Animal Fat 7.Shun Trans Fats 8.The best way for most people to lower their blood cholesterol is to reduce their intake of saturated fats (as in meats) and trans fats 10. Keep Sodium Down Excess sodium raises blood pressure in many people and has other enated oils in processed foods 11.Watch Your Calcium and Vitamin D These nutrients are vital for bone health. Hello Respected Doctors, I want to know about diet chart for gaining good amount of weight. I am very very slim s skinny, due to weak and light bones I always feel depressed and ungrounded, fear is always present in my mind. I am vegetarian, can I take egg as it is richest source of selenium and vitamin D which will help for gaining good bones and muscles? What about Green Moong Ki Daal? And, soybean? Hi you need to gain 23 kgs of weight that too muscle not fat. I can help us with 4-5 kgs muscle gain in month. Being vegetarian is not problem. If you wish to have egg yes you can. Egg yolk is rich source of all minerals. It is not like that you won't get those minerals in vegetarian source you can. Ya sure I can help you with muscle building with diet only.

Hye, Thanks for the query. You are not eating as per your body's needs. Going for practice amply stomach and staying empty stomach post practice are very unhealthy habits for your body's stamina and energy levels. It is important to know that just eating two heavy meals a day will not fulfill your nutrient needs. Most often we skip meals especially when at work or in college. We start our day on empty stomach but our work or stress or activity is never reduced. This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy and if you don't eat well as per your needs you are going to get deficient in many nutrients. So, start by eating the right foods at the right time. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Sleep well. Exercise at least thrice a week.

The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency 1.Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2.Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3.Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4.Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5.Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Dear Lybrate User, *Get Up Early, *Practice physical exercise, yoga, breathing exercise. *Massage body with simple coconut oil and bath with warm water, *Avoid maida related breakfast. *Avoid drinking water before taking foods. *Avoid more tea, coffee, soft drinks. *Lunch and dinner with green vegetables. *Drink more fresh fruits, or juices. *Take little dry fruits like cashew, almond etc. *Dinner should not be very late and half the quantity of lunch. *Lunch should be in good quantity. *Take buttermilk, milk with ghee daily. *Avoid stress, sleep 6-8 hours.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating.

Chamomile possesses antispasmodic properties and is also a great remedy for digestion related problems such as gas, dyspepsia and indigestion. one can not gain weight by just simply eating any capsules.proper diet schedule is must.and one should not take any medicine without doctor advice.To increase your weight try to follow a healthy energy and protein dense diet schedule.you will surely gain weight.

So I will be 12 weeks on tomorrow after laparoscopy to remove endo and ovaries along side an anterior posterior repair. Things are good! Definitely feel like myself again though do still get unnaturally tired if I have a busy few days on the run which is sometimes a bit disappointing but I know.
